Santiago airport has the a few shops and resturants piblic side. Acessiable toilets with no charge. Check in and customs clearance has long queues at peck times, and processing times to check in takes longer than other airports so don't be late. Air side is clean, with a few bars, shops and resturants. Seating at boarding is not enough for everyone so again if you have time before your flight get there early or you will be standing or on the floor.

Nice airport. About 25 mins from the El golf area in Santiago without traffic. Business lounges are hard to find being downstairs and poorly marked. Ruby Tuesday's and dunkin donuts available in the international terminal. Local artisan craft store near gate 12 downstairs is very nice. Duty free is huge. If you fly business class the immigration line is upstairs and quite short. Really cool bucket return system in the x Ray area.

What a disappointing start to our flight!
.Despite the fact that all our encounters at this airport took place either in the wee hours of the morning or earl-ii evening we still had the opportunity to gauge the size and just to see how busy this airport can get. While walking we could also experience how clean all the isle were we even got to use the restrooms and found them to be neat, tidy and clean. After disembarking we real-lii had to walk a very long-way to get to Passport control, Baggage Collection and Customs, here we experienced no problems as we had nothing on us that we were prohibited from bringing into the country, we were informed beforehand that if you had anything thing that you should not bring in or if you were unsure rather make sure you declare it or else you will be in trouble (Fines). At the entrance / exit of Terminal Three you will find a Kiosk for TRANSVIP.CL a shuttle company that has nice clean kombis that ferries passengers to any destination in and around Santiago for fair-lii reasonable prices. Outside in the street you will find many Taxi s which are also operating all the time but the prices we did not bother to establish. Two weeks later on returning here to depart from Chile we had a better opportunity to see more of this real-lii large airport. The parking area outside was massive, we also saw a very big nice Holiday Inn right next to the airport building. When you get into the main building there are loads of nice shops selling all kinds of goods from souvenir s to chocolates and many other wares. The food-court is also massive and have many different cafes and restaurants to eat at. The Transit-Lounge area at the Boarding Gates are big and very clean where you can even find bins which encourages recycling. What was real-lii nice to see was that there was even some playground equipment scattered around here for the kids to use. We were very impressed with what we encountered here at SCL International Airport!........
