My mom came to Canada via Air Canada and her luggage was lost/stolen at this airport. They never found it.
I have very bad experiences at this airport, too.
I have found twice my luggage ripped and some electronic devices stolen. The personnel over the counter of Latam Airlines, Star Alliance, tries to persuade you to put your carry on luggage in the hold. They know you have valuable things on it so that way your luggage can be theft without problems. Avoid this airport if you can.

Despite good shopping and dining options, it's poorly maintained: dirty chairs everywhere.
But the worst is not having wifi internet (there is not even an option to pay for the use - for 30 'or 1h, as usual in virtually all international airports).

The airport is already over. Something that I did not like, and it is disastrous, is that they do not give any information by loud speakers. People with disabilities do not have any help.

Comfortable and bright airport. They have a variety of coffee shops inside and outside. Immigration procedures go fast.
They have also put free Wi-Fi throughout the airport that serves mail and WhatsApp

It is a very busy airport, very thorough in security, I think they could have more waiting chairs, and the bathrooms should have sensors (WC and Water) to avoid spreading possible infections

With all due respect, very good attention during the flight, but I felt uncomfortable that they warned at the last minute that the flight would go to Sao Paulo and our bags left before on another plane they took before us, I know we were coming directly to Santiago We had to stay all night in the airport with a lot of cold, yes I appreciate being given some vouchers to eat something because we are from.
Curico Maule Chile.
Thank you for your services and sorry

For entry, fill in the customs declarations distributed on board the aircraft. Immigration receives stamp and PDI (tourist card) on passport in long line. Take your checked luggage on the turntable and go to customs. This is also a long line. When there are many drug dogs and you like suitcases and backpacks, they are rolled up with red tape and go to another row. If nothing is done, the customs declaration can be submitted to the agent and the X-ray inspection machine can also pass. There is an ATM on the right and you can exchange money with a card, but the ATM fee is high at $ 6000. There is a bank at the back of the second floor, which can be exchanged, but only the dollar or the euro. Airport bus stop in front of the terminal exit. One way $ 1800, it has risen to $ 1900 since March 12th. APT-Contact in about 30 minutes in the city. At departure the bus arrives at the departure terminal on the 3rd floor. In the case of AF, CHK-IN can be done easily with sky priority. Get boarding pass and DELTA SKYCLUB ticket. A departure person passes a PDI to an attendant and gets a departure stamp in a passport. Package inspection in line with security control. It is very easy compared to entry. DELTA's SKYCLUB is very narrow and there are few snacks. It is a little disappointing lounge.

Very expensive and aggressive taxi drivers and transfers, you have to avoid them. They should prefer the auto-cars, or rent transportation before arrival at the airport. Suitcases take a while to arrive. Few seats for passengers to rest. Lots of people for the size and infrastructure of the airport.

One of the world's most boring airports.

One of the world's most boring airports.

Mediocre food with really bad choices. Johnny Rocket's is presented as a highlight.

Lounges that leave a lot to be desired in terms of services or selection.

You'll have an easier time finding a Starbucks here than a clock. Oh, and the Starbucks. These are some of the few Starbucks in the world that pride themselves on having recurring, broken power outlets. Just what you want in a hub airport!

Finally, I do believe that the Marquis de Sade designed the public seating here. It's impossible to be comfortable.

Wifi in the airport seems to be some sort of cruel joke to torture travelers. I have not been able to connect after dozens of attempts.

It isn't hell. It's purgatory.

If I was Chilean, I would be extremely embarrassed by this airport. Chile is a nice country with high development, but this airport is a hopeless mess. You'd think you were in some undeveloped backwater.

First off, if you have an international connection, you need to leave and reenter security, standing in line for an hour. This despite the fact that I was getting back onto the same plane (Air Canada flight that stops in Chile between BA and Toronto)

Second, apparently their airport security is inadequate for flights passing over the US, so they actually do a second hand search of your bag between the gate and the plane.

Third, their WiFi requires you to give an email address (which at least you can fake) and watch a video ad. Every airport should give fast and no-strings WiFi, because it is a super cheap courtesy to provide travelers, and travelers often really need WiFi in airports. Slow WiFi with ads should be seen as the same as having dirty bathrooms with entrance fees.

Hello friends, I have been to the Santiago airport and I find a good place that provides security to the interior and that will soon be one of the largest in South America.

Nice airport, security and customs. Reception unfriendly recording depending on the destinations. Uncomfortable VTC driver. Several expensive shops. Be careful what you take in your suitcases. Forget non-celled artisanal food products. Local water 1500 pesos Evian +4000 pesos.

One of the most efficient airports I have ever been in and very handicapped friendly. Even though I dont speak spanish the security there was very helpful and relaxed when helping understand. The E terminal is a very long distance grab a shuttle!

It's huge.

It's huge.
The free shop does not have such expensive prices.
You have to walk A LOT if the flight leaves far from the entrance (they do not have buses that bring you closer to the plane).

I love Chile and that people.

Civilized country.
They treat tourists well.
I highly recommend the bill.

I was connected and I think it has good space, the attention of friendly people from the migration staff onwards. I think it can improve many infrastructure things, elevators, access bridges to airplanes, bathrooms and other details that would make it more enjoyable

Santiago Airport has been almost without activity (minimum activity) for about a month. LAN, Sky, Latam and other planes, parked next to the last runway (west sector) of the Airport. The activity of local passengers is very minor and mainly the activity is related to cargo transportation.

Very good airport, it is about keeping order on the outskirts with policemen avoiding double-row parking. Very well signaled internally for the exit and as well as the connections. For those who have a tight budget there is the Puerto Centro just outside to get closer to the center. Taxis (as in all South America at the exit very insistent)
