Great location. Great performance.
Great location. Great performance.
The seats are uncomfortable after 3 hours.

The opera building is impressive. Look up and pay attention to the chariot of Dionysus or Bacchus - if you like. Coupled with ... panthers. A beautiful sculpture. There are more of them, all worth attention. Unfortunately, I was not inside and I could not listen to any opera. I'll be back when it will be touring Cecilia Bartoli
Very nice opera house. Should be seen when you are in Dresden.
Very nice and a must, if you are in Dresden.
The guide was good.
The Semperoper is really well prepared.
Too bad that you have not seen so much from the stage.
From the description it is a very interesting part, but you do not get to see it.
A legendary place. Cards are often sold out. So take care before long.
Everyone has probably heard the joke that there is a remarkable number of less educated TV viewers who consider the Semperoper a brewery because it is always shown so beautifully in advertising (for beer) ...
Indeed, it is difficult to avoid such associations. Besides the Frauenkirche, the Semperoper is certainly right at the forefront of Dresden's top sights. And rightly so! Every visitor is advised to take a closer look at the building and its history, it's really worth it!
And there is always something for the eye, no matter where and at what time of day you are watching or taking photos of the Semperoper ...
To see the Semperoper from the outside is already impressive. But to inspect the historic building inside is highly recommended, even if it is not possible without an appointment.
For 11 you can get an interesting 45-minute tour of the Semperoper, the content of which varies a lot from guide to guide, as I found out during my visits. A photo license costs an additional 3, but was not checked.
The Semperoper is a pure forgery and one is also proud of it. Not a real marble stone. For the 11 euro entrance fee for a 45 minute tour, you also need three euros if you want to take photos in the Semperoper. Allegedly for copyright. Something's only in the ExDDR. In addition to the solidarity surcharge. As Dresden's sights are still one big construction site anyway for the next decades, Dresden will not be worth visiting in the next 30 years. And that's a polite recommendation.
Beautiful building. Especially during a guided tour you can learn a lot of interesting things about the Semperoper. It's worth a visit.
Unfortunately only seen from the outside, an imposing building.
Impressive historical monomunal building with grandiose sound
Beautiful building from the outside as well as inside. The place has its own charm, the room provides comfort thanks to air conditioning. Artistic experiences at the highest level.
A monumental building located on the outskirts of the Old Town. The beautifully decorated facade catches the eye from afar. The interior is beautifully decorated with frescoes and gilding.
A real experience to experience and see this opera house. The sound of the hall is excellent, the ambience is beautiful and honorable.
Great guide with made, lots of construction information, very nice the interior, you have to see.
Saw a snippet of an opera here through the long night of theater Dresden and was amazed not only by the Opera but also the architecture of the Opera house. Very nice.
A very nice building from the outside. Unfortunately we did not come in during the visit and the lady at the door could not say anything when tours take place. As soon as I was inside I will change the rating.
Beautiful opera house and a perfect staging of Lucia di Lammermoor.
Impressive neo-renaissance Opera House with neo-baroque influences, it faces a magnificent dance of beauty and boldness with the prospective complex of the Hofkirche and the larger Residenz. Practice the possibility of a guided tour of its interior which is always the best way to discover a palace, its curiosities and its treasures. Not to be missed! @ gargio76
First time for me at the Opera. Really beautiful building and its surroundings.
Nevertheless, I was, many years ago, always an experience, as a Dresden woman is the sight of the Augustus Bridge to the Catholic Court Church, my favorite church in Dresden, while you have the best view of the most beautiful side of Dresden
The building is of course impressive, but photography is only possible with a photo license. And the lady in charge simply applied way too thickly when it came to the wood and marble imitations: "Much more complex and expensive than if real oak and real marble had been processed".
Probably the most beautiful opera house in the world. Wonderfully restored and fantastically beautiful.
Fantastic performance with often changing performances. Unfortunately, disastrously unprofessional staff that can sometimes get cheeky with partial complete ignorance. This is unacceptable in a house with such an international reputation!
Beautiful building with a great history. I highly recommend doing a guided tour.
I saw her from outside, there was no guide in Spanish. The entrance was very expensive.
Why God give me a blessing like this......
In hardest time in my life...
Did I deserve to enjoy this present?
Oh, right.
Something like cruel and sad stoy of this city, Dresden,
It's suitable for me.
We booked a guided tour here and the guide was great and could tell a lot about the history of the opera. Very impressive.
Since the reopening in 1985, I've been going to this fantastic opera house regularly. Architecture, painting, acoustics, the fantastic orchestra, brilliant staging. I could fill pages. Look at it, experience it and you will understand me.
A beautiful object.
Unique and impressive.
Nicely renovated opera house with nice staff, professional orchestra and great singers and performers - the magic flute is beautifully staged! Simply a pleasure :-)
A concert of moderate prices experienced this magnificent house.
A very nice opera house. Unfortunately the tours were sold out. I'll look at another time.
Always worth a visit. The tour with Monika Freudenberg was first class! We'll be back! Thanks to you ...
Very nice opera house with interesting history and architecture. A tour is absolutely worthwhile.
Very nice to look at. The tour could have been friendlier and more interesting, however.
Just always nice. And the story behind it. Always worth a visit.
I find the entrance too expensive 11 Unfortunately not much to see. You get a lot to hear but you can't record everything. I wouldn't do it again. On the other hand, the exhibition paid a great 6 and a lot to see.
We had a guided tour of the Semperoper and it was so impressive! Our guide had such a comprehensive knowledge of this unique opera. I can only recommend this experience to everyone. Especially in a city like Dresden, where there are so many museums and unique features, this building and its history can only be recommended! Next I will definitely visit a piece there. Thank you.
The Semperoper is wonderful. Only the performance of the "Bartered Bride" that we saw in March was awful. I want to see such an opera traditionally. If there are only such modern performances I renounce in the future on an opera visit.
Until a few years ago I sang in the children's choir of the Semperoper. Apart from the rear annex, the Semperoper is, in my opinion, the most beautiful building Dresden has to offer. Simply magical :)
Very nice building, very well located location. Ideal for an opera visit. The Frauenkirche is also nearby. A nice city center.
One of the most famous opera house in Germany. I will highly recommend a tour inside.
A beautiful building!
We even took part in a guided tour and it was worth every single euro.
Highly recommended.
Super nice, a tour at 10 p.m., highly recommended, the atmosphere was very good
Also impressive and impressive building inside. Unfortunately, the tour by the Spanish-born guide was a bit lengthy and overly detailed (exhaustive). Another guide couldn't even afford to replace his broken shoes. Quality control by the management would be in order here.
Fantastic tour now for the second time with lots of insider info. We have to repeat.
Addendum 2.3.2019: Today was the third time. Anyone who gets a tour with Thomas Hesse, has drawn the big ticket. It was great entertaining and educational! Gladly also a fourth time!
Without words
Simply an experience
The history of this place is very interesting, and the architecture and decoration are so detailed and detailed.
Great building. Nice family management. Very interesting story. Definitely recommended.
If you can get hold of a leadership just use it immediately. It is worth it!!!
If you are in Leipzig, you should definitely visit the SEMPER OPERA.
What you should NEVER do - buy tickets in front of the building by strangers !!! We were so stupid - we had in the end totally overpriced tickets and what was even worse - of our seats we could not even see the stage sitting. We had to stand the whole event and could only see half of the stage there. That was very annoying.
