Legendously beautiful .. one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world it is located in the heart of the old town of Dresden ... Surrounded by a beautiful place ... in the evening it shines in all its glory a guided tour tells a lot about the history of the opera house ... a visit that definitely pays off whether as an individual or in a group every year in January there is the Semperoper ball ... to see and be seen has lost much of the old splendor, but that's it

A beautiful place that combines art and history. Is perfect on the Elbe and the Hofkirche. You can reach the Semperoper very well, by the adjacent public transport. The building is historically built and therefore beautiful.

We were allowed to take the last tour shortly before 5 am. It was taken over by a very competent guide who, with his very dry sense of humor, brought the story and the peculiarities to the man (woman). Many details were mentioned, very interesting details from the construction and reconstruction by Mr. Semper and later the communists. What was missing was the concert, we will make up for that. For me the transformation of the house was impressive. When I first saw it in December '89, it was a soulless modern replica. Time has brought patina and thanks to the renovations of the kennel everything fits together better ...

Very beautiful and unusual place. Very well fits into the overall architecture of the late Baroque Dresden. It is enough to have with you a huge desire to visit this place, 20 euros in your pocket to visit a cafe, and a couple of hours of leisurely time. And the imagination will helpfully provide you with a beautiful German city of the 18th century, so different from the everyday bustle of everyday life.

As our tour guide said: one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world.
I have long considered whether I should visit a tour or a performance during my short break in Dresden, and then decided on a tour due to time constraints.
The important thing is that I was in it.
Huge, sublime, very atmospheric, very comfortable seats. But I do not know how comfortable the seats are even after 2 hours, if you have to turn your head all the time.
The best place for an opera visit seems to me to be the places where you can look straight ahead, but as far down as possible, because you are closer and see the actors better.
Everything is splendid, even the entrance, the corridors, the stairs, the ceiling and of course the great opera hall with the many ornaments on the stands, the gold-colored chandeliers, etc.
A real experience and a feast for the eyes.
Our tour guide was very friendly and talked uninterruptedly. I always roped off the group and took pictures, which, as it turned out later,
was very useful, otherwise I would not have seen much and could not have taken much pictures.
I can also find information on the Internet.
A photo permission I could buy at the cloakroom for 3, - , I had bought my entrance ticket already in advance on-line.
Bags and rucksacks could be handed over for free at the cloakroom or I even had to hand over my rucksack, which I had already expected and which was also very comfortable.
How did not get around much in the group in the group, we stood for a long time in the hallway at the bottom, then in the hallway in front of the 1st Rank and then we sat for a long time on the 1st place in the opera hall.
And meanwhile, our tour guide talked a lot. That was the whole lead.
You could certainly have made such a tour more interesting, if you wanted. But ok, I was in it once and got a pretty clear impression.
The Semperoper is a very impressive building. You should join a guided tour if you do not have time for a performance, that's my recommendation.

I bought a tour ticket at 3 pm and arrived 15 minutes early. The door didn't come in. A lot of people were waiting outside. No one came to organize us until 3 o'clock. Fortunately it didn't snow .

Beautiful opera in the old town of Dresden, opposite the Residenzschloss.

I visited the opera on a guided tour. Highly recommended, the lady knew her way around. With an extra photo ticket I was able to take as many photos as I wanted.

A visit to the opera, whether with a guided tour or a musical event, should not be missed, very impressive!

Opera House - Saxon State Opera. Good house, nice project. But now the reconstruction of the facade is required. Great repertoire. Theater near the ancient palace, park and river. Quiet and quiet place.

I applied for an advertised position in accounting on August 26, 2019. 5 months later on January 29th, 2020 I finally get an answer.
If these are the standards of the Semperoper then good night,

The Saxon State Opera Dresden - or shortly after its builder called "Semperoper" - is a real highlight in Dresden. We could enjoy "TOSCA" in this magnificent opera. Particularly recommended is the "Guided tour of the opera" in front of the opera itself, which is offered on selected dates. The tour was conducted with incredible dedication, facial expressions and gestures. One has really noticed that the woman lives the Semperoper downright. The performance itself was also a pleasure. As a musical fan I am not the friend of the opera myself, but here you should have a look at an opera. It is worth it .. It is recommended to make a reservation of drinks at your own table for the break before.

The tour of the opera is worthwhile if you want to visit the building independently of a performance. We decided spontaneously and could immediately take part in the next tour without any problems. The tour is overall entertaining and gives an overview of the history of the building and its predecessors. Nicely done, sympathetically brought over, but in total only 45 min. long. 11 euros is the fun. The photo license again 3 euros. If you do not really want to experience the opera as part of a performance, you should opt for the leadership.

A real must every time you visit Dresden. It is not without reason that the Semperoper is one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world and I am always fascinated by the charm of this wonderful building. This house has a very special and wonderful charm in every season, which, as I have now found out again, rightly inspires more and more tourists.

Were in the ballet performance the nutcracker and it was mega beautiful. The flair that the house exudes is awesome. We recommend. Who is not a fan of opera, ballet and co. you can recommend a tour of the house. It is offered regularly.

The opera is absolutely worth seeing not only from the outside, but also from the inside. More importantly, also very worth listening to. Orchestras, singers and actors were just great.

We looked at Nabucco. Great staging.

You were lucky, but still got tickets ... A must when visiting Dresden, try it at the box office, there are usually still tickets, you can't be very picky. You're probably not sitting next to each other.

Be careful when booking tickets via the ticket service! Despite direct debit, the ticket booking does not appear and we had to buy and pay new tickets at the box office as a result, we were refused a refund of the amount from the booking because the error at the box office could not be traced
