To see the Semperoper from the outside is already impressive. But to inspect the historic building inside is highly recommended, even if it is not possible without an appointment.
For 11 you can get an interesting 45-minute tour of the Semperoper, the content of which varies a lot from guide to guide, as I found out during my visits. A photo license costs an additional 3, but was not checked.
