I participated in a 45 min guided tour. The magnificent architecture of the Semperoper with its ornate rooms was very impressive. I would like to thank our great guide. The guide was exciting and refreshing, you should definitely join!

Nice building, the seats in the fourth row are not for the back. You have to sit in front of the stage to watch the stage, and on top of that, it's blown away by cold air from the ventilation slots in the neck and neck.
La Traviata without stage design was very colorless, although the vocals convinced. A little more staff at the bar would have been desirable.

Very nice place with interesting history. I booked the tour. A photo permit costs an additional 3 euros. You have to be lucky and catch the right person on the tour. Not everyone has the same desire to show the opera. Another group was allowed to look at the VIP box. We are not. It stands and falls with the person who takes the lead. We were just unlucky.

Beautifully and faithfully restored, good view and acoustics also from 4th place. High artistic quality. Unfortunately, the surtitles in the opera were a bit desynchronous.

The Semperoper Dresden offers a lot. Nice operas, ballets, operettas and so on. In a beautiful ambience you can watch accompanied by the charm of Dresden also a nice play. You can also watch them behind the scenes. They offer a very pleasant and interesting tour, where you can learn a lot.

Unbelievable - you really have to see it. Currently, many renewals are made. From the center (train station) about 2 km away. The walk is worthwhile. There are also parking spaces nearby.

This theater is a magnificently restored jewel after its destruction at the end of the Second World War. It is not huge. Even if you have tickets for the farthest seats, the view of the stage is more than acceptable. The acoustics are very good and the productions I have seen are the best. The sound of the Staatskapelle Dresden orchestra is difficult to improve. It is a really striking quality detail. There is a very good musical offer and the prices are contained. Everything in the building is elegance and harmony and although the interior is apparently complex, one ends up easily oriented. You cannot expect less from one of the main operas in Germany and Europe.

The Semperoper is located on Theaterplatz in the historic city center of Dresden near the Elbe and the Dresden Zwinger. The underground car park belonging to the house is nearby and has relatively cheap tariffs. For a longer stay, it is advisable to buy a day pass. Both the symphony concerts as well as the operas and ballet performances are highly recommended not only because of the fantastic backdrop. The acoustics of the very beautiful opera room are well designed and promise a special kind of sound event.
In front of the opera house is the King Johann monument, from which you have a beautiful view of the building.

Who appreciates the opera then you here, a very good sound, tickets are really expensive. Earlier here they sang in German, but from recent time you can hear in other languages.

The Semperoper has to be seen! Recommended for everyone! She has something glamorous, but also a bit old-fashioned, which makes her so special. Inside, however, one wanders around to find a ladies' room :)

We were a little disappointed with the building, it is nice but you have really imagined more. Personally, I think the theater in Wiesbaden is at least as nice, but with more flair. The leadership could have been saved.
The performance was not so overwhelming that I had to go there again.

The Semperoper is the highlight in Dresden. Not only convince her elegant appearance, but also the acoustics.

Next Saturday I very much hope to be able to experience the fifth of my five booked Semper-Essence performances (Don Giovanni). They were all abridged, but of the highest musical quality, self-contained works of well-known works of opera literature that we were allowed to experience. What fascinated me most were the operas, in which the Staatskapelle played on stage and the musical experience for us guests increased many times over compared to the usual position of the orchestra in the ditch.

A tour is always recommended and very informative. The house is very impressive.

Beautiful architecture. The performances seem to be all modernised so that the operas have characters with smartphones and co. But it's a great experience. Definitely take advantage of the student prices if you can!

Beautiful place. Dresden surprised me pleasantly. Everything is close together and you can walk from two to three hours if you do not visit museums and galleries.

Great evening at the Semperopernball. I can only recommend. After the official part you have enough time and space to dance your way out.
