Wonderful acoustics, wonderful opera singers, great staging (Rigoletto)

A fantastic opera building in the historic city of Dresden. The building is not freely accessible, but guided tours are offered. Otherwise always a great atmosphere at evening events - the good reputation I can confirm.

Gourgeus Opera house. Seats quite confortable, nice acoustic and at end good service overall. A few bars sell you beer, brezn and other treats during break but if you want a table you must book one in advance.

One of the sights in Dresden. I personally was not aware that this mega building was restored and rebuilt in the GDR era. Terrific performance in the permanent shortage society. But we also had craftsmen who understand their craft.

A very beautiful building in terms of architecture. A visit is definitely worthwhile.

Great guidance! I recommend booking a tour of the city with a tour of the opera through the tourist information office: the group is smaller and you don't have to queue. The opera is a feast for the eyes!

Semperoper is well worth a visit. The leadership, however, was bad.

The Dresden Opera House is impressive with its shape. Nice style, nice architecture, interesting finishes. It's a pity that I didn't have the opportunity to go inside and participate in a performance. Maybe someday :)

Again and again an experience of this great ball. But please set up a cigar lounge again next year! ;-) the tent was not worthy of the event.

A building that was restored to its original form after it was destroyed in World War II. It deserves more respect, as 40 years of effort has been made for ten ceohe restorations. Its acoustic hall competes with the Scala opera house.

Fabulous building and it's great that there is a huge range of ticket prices so everyone has the opportunity to appreciate a work

Historic square in Dresden with baroque buildings. WORTH SEEING.

What to write about the monument? Nice and above all it means that Dresden is not just about shopping, I recommend everyone to visit the historical part of Dresden really worth counting at least a time of at least 4 hours, although it is ideal all day.

The Magic Flute in the Semper Opera - a wonderful experience!

Both the guided tour and the ballet performance later in the evening were a great unforgettable experience.

I really recommend paying the photographer's tax of 3 euro(at the time) although given the price of the ticket it should be included! Nevertheless, the place is a must-see and it has a lot of stories to go with it! Keep an open eye for the details, although with a guide, everything will be explained!

Most beautiful house in Dresden, unfortunately too open to migration that is made public. I think we have other worries.

The tour of the Semper Opera makes you want to watch a concert or an opera. The stories about the building and little anecdotes were told enthusiastically and did not seem to be memorized. We paid the additional cost of three euros to take photos, but in our opinion should be included in the price.

Premiere Moses and Aron experienced. Very nicely done. Nice admission lady. Wardrobe woman also very nice.

TOP Haus, an architectural masterpiece by the GDR builders. Guided tour of the house is highly recommended.

Nabucco has a clock around, tinsel on stage and a cheap chair for 5 euros as a throne, just terrible, too bad for the music talents who have played the music great and for the opera singers who have sung grandiosely

Great opera house in historical style, very good acoustics

We took part in the children's tour of the opera. The tour lasted about 45 minutes and the children really liked it. Great building.

grandiose 2 January 2017 Hoffmann's stories. The music, the vocal and theatrical performance. Perfectly. All reservations about the play have been wiped out as well thanks to the excellent free introduction before the performance. Thanks to the management.

An imposing structure - either book a guided tour or an evening event

A cultural monument. The booked tour was short and sweet. More information would be helpful!

One of the greatest operas in Europe. I recommend it to everyone, even if someone is not going to the performance it is worth at least to visit.

The 50 minute guided tour with a nice competent guide was very informative.

Great building and an experience of the great ones when you are in opera in there.

Always beautiful. Great atmosphere, unfortunately renovations. A bit sparse with elevators. Normally no problem, but we had the 93-year-old grandma with us. But since the elevators were eternally occupied, because fat lazy aunts drove with it, there was no room for the disabled - and really old people - and the waiting was very annoying. We finally went down the stairs with grandma and rollator. Of course, the opera can not do anything about it. Always worth a visit.

We were here to see the magic flute. It was a very nice production with idiosyncratic scenes. We recommend. Also for "non-operans"

Beautiful opera house with so much history, a guided tour is definitely recommended as there is a lot to learn about the building, more than meets the enchanted eye!

"Semper and the detectives" was an interesting, exciting and instructive guided tour through the Semper Opera for children. The children were asked to remember letters that led to the opera title "Fidelio" at the end of the event. This guided tour for children is highly recommended because the accompanying adults could also learn something, e.g. B. that the cladding in the foyer is not made of wood, but a mixture of plaster of paris, paint and beer.

Unique historical building in Dresden's old town and symbol of the city. It is worth doing the guided tour.

Just nice. The eye is overwhelmed. You hardly dare to breathe inside. A tour is a must
