I think a small hotel but a good hotel. There is a little distance from the station, but there are convenient facilities around. There is also Don Quijote nearby, so it is convenient to buy.
You can get a bab or rest time at the front desk. It seems that there is a coffee service or a dinner service in the lobby.
There is no problem in business use.
It happened to be a room with a washing machine, but when I was having dinner that day, I spilled oil on my pants. I was able to do my laundry right away!
Clean, comfortable. Awesome location for the cherry blossoms especially! Right next to the new Starbucks Reserve Roastery. Coffee and tea in the lobby. Free Ramen as a late night snack. The one thing I will complain about is their onsen area is mostly for men except for something like 2 hours a couple times a week. This was a bit disappointing for the ladies in our group who wanted to soak in the hot baths.
We could stay comfortably if there was Don Quijote near. Amenity was also complete. I felt like I was in a ryokan because I could use the public bath and sauna.
Although there is a distance from the nearest station, it is not painful if you get used to it. The only breakfast in the Dormy Inn group. In addition, group familiar night cry buckwheat free is very good. Shaved ice was also available free of charge during the summer holidays. The bath is large and the quality of amenities is good.
Good morning morning rice and night crying soba too!
Rooms and facilities are perfect, but it's a shame that there is no parking lot even though the station is far away.
Dormy Inn is grateful to have a bath. The price is cheap even from the location. Large rooms are easy to spend.
Great location by the Meguro river with walking distance to nice areas like Nakameguro and Daikanyama. Clean and nice hotel interior and room, but the bathroom was a bit too small. The reason for not giving the hotel 5 stars is the hotel's rule that women are not allowed on the hotel bath facility during weekdays - i.e. only men are allowed - which is inequal and unfair.
Great inn, in a great location close to Donki supermarket with everything. Buses to Shibuya or you can walk 20 min.
Location gets 5 *. Service was good on some days, not great on others. Onsen available to women for only 3 hrs a week. Men get it the rest of the time. The breakfast, although included, was very limited. Family travelling together , we got split up onto different floors. Must choose to sleep with your husband or one of your children.
Pulito, spazioso, economico per Tokyo... Nn una grande location unico punto debole
Although there is a distance from the station, shopping is convenient because there is Don Quijote right in front of you. As it was room of washing machine month, it was good that we could wash. Breakfast is mini-buffet style, and fresh French toast can be eaten. Private baths can be used if reserved. The rooms are separated by bath and toilet. There is a microwave and a freezer.
There is also a convenience store, Don Quijote, in the surrounding area!
The drawback is not complete parking! !
It was quiet and cozy. If you go along the Meguro River to Nakameguro Station, you will feel a little walk.
It's hard to be far from the station. However, it is convenient to go to Osaki because there is a bus stop right in front of you. You can also go to Nakameguro Station.
There is a large communal bath, but women have less time to use it. Good because there is a private bath. The bath in the room is quite poor. It's about chorochoro, and if you can't use the large public bath or private bath, it will wither.
The room is large enough for a business person in Tokyo. There is also a big Starbucks in front of you.
By the way, maybe because I was allowed to smoke, I don't think it has much to do with it, but the pajamas smelled. It smelled like an aging odor, so it's a little empty.
It was inconvenient when it came to a room where the amount of hot water available was decided. Do you still have that room?
The rooms are moderately sized and the beds are spacious enough for two people. The washing machine is also inside, and the bathroom is also nice. I wanted to stay for the rest of the time because it was a good hotel, but I was sorry to be sold out already. It is convenient because it is relatively close to Yuten area.
Room are small but nice and cosy.. clean and well maintained.. good for the price
Two people stay in a twin room with a sofa bed.
The price was high, but we could stay comfortably and comfortably in a large room.
Could there be a better hotel in Tokyo? Well, yes, there could, but for the time of my life - think no-one puts baby in corner - for the time of my life - 40 something, family of four, balding, could stand to lose a few - this hotel, this establishment, this restful place for the weary traveller - THIS is ideal and will remain in my memory as the best I've stayed at including the disappointment that turned out to be a Ryokan. Right time, right place, right people - that sort of thing. And I realize it's part of a mass produced, cookie cutter, same-same hotel consortium hell bent on spreading its brand and the many variations within all over Japan and Korea but oh me, oh my, how tremendously wonderful! Everything from the teeny tiny bathroom with the teeny tiny bath coloured in soothing beige tones like a Duchamp masterwork - to the television set featuring Japanese TV which is amusing if incomprehensible - everything about this place just fit and helped make an amazing trip to Japan even better. The onsen on level one was a comfortable highlight - an experience my son and I will always remember. Unfortunate that men and women are separated by days of the week -- with women getting far less time amongst the steam and splashing, no doubt with very good reason beyond simple inhibition and the red faced embarrassment that comes with nudity. That being said the highlight of the erstwhile establishment known as the Dormy Inn express Meguro, the one stand out feature about this superlative place - part novelty, part genuinely useful service - was the vending machine a few doors up. IKR - THE VENDING MACHINE! Open 24/7 and well stocked with drinks, this delightful machine included ample supply of the already- warm-milk-coffee in cans and the Lord himself knows the value of a sweet cup of Joe even if it is sullied with milk and produced in a factory. Who cares as long as they can get their fix, right? Add to that the availability of cans of beer at reasonable prices and you a truly exceptional hotel feature in a metal contraption, 4 by 6 . I couldn't believ the value of 160 Yen for a Kirin lager in a can. Real beer, real cold, real cheap. My god, my English is abominable here but we're talking beer and at two bucks fifty for the real thing who actually cares? Unbeatable! No late night run to the BOTTLO required.
The staff at the front desk were most excellent - like an adventure taken by a certain Bill and Ted some years ago - accommodating our every question and looking after our bags on the last day. Missed the cup noodles upstairs but they'd be worth checking out especially because they give them out for FREE! Over all I'd say this was my favourite hotel in Japan with all the trimmings a family might want. Biscuits*, gravy*, beer*, WiFi. Right next to the Goliath Starbucks and found at the French end of town - where, incidentally you'll find the best coffee. (Aux Bacchanale, across the road, Tres Bien!). Visit Don Quixote up the street to see just how various a variety supermarket can be. My only criticism of the Dormy is that I didn't stay long enough! Thanks to the staff for such a wonderful time - perhaps consider simplifying the name to Dormy Meguro - but then again this is Tokyo so there may be more than one and the more the words in the title the less the confusion? Just a thought.
*Not free but still awesome!
The rooms are comfortable and large, well equipped and surprising.
Nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staffs. Very convenient and awesome neighborhood.
I was indebted the other day. There is a little distance from the station, but the rooms are clean and the service is good, and I was able to use it with confidence. It was also good if the bath was a hot spring.
Clean and Spacy room..the service is good and friendly..the facilities are great but the place for breakfast is quite narrow and limired tables available, the foods are not that delicious..only standard breads, soup and salad..not much choices..
What I don't really like about this hotel is that it's quite far from the train station..but yeah..good for exercising.:D
Note : There's a taiyaki shop near the naka-meguro station, the taiyaki tastes great and the owner is very friendly!:D
Don quijote is very near to the hotel..just around the corner, about 2-3 mins. walk~
I had a great stay in this hotel anyway :)
Nice hotel right across from the new Starbucks roastery. Variety of room sizes which are comfortable but i found it odd that you needed to climb into the bathroom (big step up from floor). Hot baths are nice and clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay especially given the location.
Not tattoo friendly. Don't support backward thinking businesses with your money.
A reasonable hotel with a classic Japanese sento or multi pool bath and refreshment area. The bath makes this place special.
Very good facilities including hot baths. Breakfasts that are worth being taken at the hotel. A bit of a walk to Shibuya but very close to a metro station. A very good stay of 3 nights.
There is a new and super special starbucks in front of you.
Good location. Not fancy but includes everything you need. Room at large fridge, microwave and washing machine.
