Awful place. The hit each other other because they take on more cars than they can handle. My car got damaged and they do not take responsibility. In stead, the owner calls me up yelling at me about how it isn't his fault and he didn't do it when in reality, the car did not go anywhere else where it could have happened. Now I have nicks on my bumper that clearly resemble screws from another car's license plat frame. It is really simple, just don't let the cars touch
The customer service at this parking garage is disappointing to say the least. The posted maximum daily rate states $40, but the parking attendant tells me it will be $55/day and asks if I agree. When I ask about the large increase from $40 to $55 per day, I'm told "it's taxes." I'm no math whiz, but the 18.375% NYC parking tax just does not add up here. I agree because honestly I'm too exhausted after my four-hour drive. The parking attendant then asks me the time that I will pick up my car and keeps hounding me for an exact time, telling me that the garage opens at 7am. Fast forward to my pickup date, and lo and behold, the parking attendant does not show up until 9am that day. I came across two other very unsatisfied customers who were also expressing their dismay. When I finally get a hold of a manager on the phone, I'm told (in the most condescending tone) that they don't do refunds for an attendant "being 15 minutes late." Once again, I'm no math whiz, but last I checked, the difference between 7am and 9am is not 15 minutes. It's a shame because this garage is close to a friend that I visit often. Save yourself the hassle and park in 24-hour garage nearby that actually charges you what they advertise.
I booked this garage on SpotHero for 3 nights, 11:00 PM Thursday to 11:00 PM Sunday. Not cheap. Upon arriving, the attendant starts shouting and wagging his finger at me. Apparently the garage is closed. He says if I had waited a second, I would ve seen that he was about to close for the night. This guy took pride in not honoring my reservation even though I was there with him, in the garage, at 11:02 PM. My girlfriend and I left after pleading with him and found a new garage. Definitely avoid. New York City at its worst.
If I could not give this place a star I would! Horrible service and horrible people working there. I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated at the SELECT AP Eton management parking garage. I found a coupon on Best Parking app for 24 hour parking for $26 dollars instead of $52. I came in at 11:30 am on Saturday and they told me I was good for a full 24 hours. They made me pay through the app ahead of time which actually made it come out to $31. I walked in at 11:29 am today to get my car and they tell me I am late and their computer locked and I now have to pay another $26 dollars. I spoke to a horrible supervisor who would not release my car until I paid. They told me I should contact Best Parking to get my $26 dollars back. I did not deserve to be spoken to like that or pay $52.
