First and last time. Never more. Very disappointed. The staff in the room was very dirty. Bad smell. Live Cockroachs. It s not a $100,00 hotel. We paid $300,00.

Incredible course. Be aware of resort fee added to hotel bill. Very large complex.

Sot outside by the water and have a cocktail....even if you are staying there it is a great view and cool place!

You can tell the hotel is from the 80s, but for a mostly golf resort they have a lot of good amenities including the cabana beach club and plenty of pools and restaurants either on site or a short walk. Staff was really attentive and tried hard to make the experience special. Service and skill seemed to drop off in the evening at the pub in terms of the bartending, so I wish the main bar with good bartenders was open later than 11.

We only get one or two days away from the kids a year and we got to spend one with Sawgrass Marriot today! We had an incredible spa day, Julie have me a wonderful massage (Ask for her! She's the sweetest!) and the food and service all around was PERFECTION! I am already thinking is when we'll be able to get back here. Thank you for a fantastic staycation!

I loved every bit of it. The hotel staff are great, they are very welcoming and are always available to answer questions.

The rooms were clean and with nice decor. The staff was always friendly and eager to help in anyway. My favorite part was how beautiful the grounds were.

This is a very nice place to stay if you want to pay the cost. Complimentary shuttle service to local attractions, beaches, shopping, etc., or even across the street if it is raining. Nice little fitness center, swimming pools, and restaurants within the hotel, not to mention delicious catering. Very nice staff. Rooms were very clean with plenty of towels and there are even some plates/bowls/cutlery in the rooms and a mini-fridge and microwave so you can prepare food. Beautiful scenery as well.The property is very nice, and we found all the staff very helpful during our stay. The AC was not working in our original room and we were swapped without trouble. Also our room was originally a double, but was upgraded at no cost by the clerk at check in, without requesting it. The resort fee is $22 a day. You also get Internet service for that fee, and it did include a free appetizer in the lobby bar area, still it seemed steep. However we got the room significantly lower than the usual advertised price even if the resort fee is included, so overall it was well worth it. The club area and beach access are very nice though. The rooms were nice, the service was spectacular, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The back patio with all the fire pits and the light up fountain/waterfall made it a really elegant evening. The food and drinks were also phenomenal. You get 2 free drinks per night stay, which is nice (but that's part of their $20 nightly fee). Highly recommend this hotel.From the moment we arrived until the day we left several days later, Staff helped me with my bags and wife bags, got us settled, advised about restaurants, shuttled us Several times. He was always professional, accessible, hard working and maintained a tremendous attitude in spite of high heat and humidity. He made our stay fun, comfortable and easy. we also stayed in the villas a few times,they're all spacious, well appointed, contemporary suite with a very large deck overlooking water and nature scenes. Great evening time in pub. Extensive breakfast buffet with chef to make omelets, to salmon and capers, and all nourishments in between. Definitely would stay again. Staff were professional, courteous, and helpful....

We come back year after because my children ask to come back. Great staff.

That's the place to be when you visiting the greater of Jacksonville

Consistently good. I stay for Business and Pleasure. Terrific family location with beach shuttle to great beach facility (pool and food service).

The resort was great,it has variety of activities for the whole family. Several pools, a wave machine, bonfires at night, pool tables, chess tables ... For many different taste. We didn't get to spend enough time to enjoy all of this, i recommended a longer stay of 3 days at least to get to enjoy more of it and the spa, mini golf. The fun opportunities are endless here. Staff was polite and the room was clean and comfortable.

I went there for a corporate event for which the organization was well-prepared and capable of handling for a company of 1,000 people. The facilities were cleaned, organized, and well suited for our annual event. I wish there were more restrooms near the conference center instead of having two go all the way to the front of the conference Hall.

Beds were not comfortable to sleep two people in for a double bed. Breakfast was amazing and loved the variety. Loved the shuttle to and from the beach.

I stayed at the Sawgrass Marriott for a business meeting. Beautiful hotel. I would recommend definitely recommend this resort to anyone who loves to golf. Unfortunately I was there for business and I didn't utilize the pool or spa.

I wasn't impressed with the hotel, the money you spend to be in the lap of luxury was from from it in reality. The service was top rate but the facilities and the rooms could have been way better. I stayed at the Marriott at PGA National and it was head and shoulders above.

Beautiful property! The room was clean. Breakfast from the pub was actually very good. I'll definitely stay here again!

Our company holiday party is here every year and it is always very nice. The area is beautiful, employees are great, and the food is delicious. Though I've never stayed in the resort as a guest, I know many people that have and said it's wonderful.

Stayed in the villas, why do you book rooms with people staying above and below each other when you can spread them out, lots of rooms available, beautiful property but it's like staying in an apartment if you're on the 1st floor and you have someone above you.

Bed wasn't really that comfy. We requested one bed but were given two full mattresses instead. If you try to go to sleep at a normal hour you will be alarmed to find how noisy the rooms are. Almost all room doors face the wide open lobby and sound echoes throughout the hotel. Oh and the "HD tv's were so outdated and fuzzy' the was not enjoyable. Room service was expensive.

Nice place to hang out with friends and family. Many entertainment options for all family members. Courteous staff focused on making your stay enjoyable. Will definitely visit again.

Very nice place, but my wedding ring was stolen out of my room.....I specifically requested no room service, but someone used there pass key to enter the room when I was gone. Security notified, but nothing could be done.

Huge property with lots of gourgeous views and fantastic amenities. I wish I could have enjoyed more of the outdoor area but it was cold when I attended my conference. The staff was superb and the food, drinks and restaurant outlets were utilized on a daily basis. My heat did not work in my room and I notified the hotel the following morning, the next night I hoped for warmth but no such luck. So I remained cold for all three nights of my stay. As long as I stayed under the comforter I contained heat. Hopefully if I visit again it won't be cold in Florida. Make sure you catch a shuttle to the Cabana Beach Club a hidden bonus.

The 4-star comes conditionally. Sawgrass is a golf and convention place. I wouldn't say it was the best for get-aways or vacation travel simply because it gets really busy. But service was good and the rooms are fine. Note to Marriott: time to upgrade the elevators. Also, you could do a little better job with cleaning. Not bad, but room to improve.

Beautiful grounds. Everything is well-kept, clean, and upscale. Enjoyed the scenery most of all. Quiet rooms, comfortable beds, quality toiletries, amazingly friendly staff. Allowed us a late checkout on our last day even after letting us check-in three hours early. Loved having a shuttle that took us to the cabana and beach - so much fun! Pools to choose from, lounges, bars, restaurants, shopping, and right on the beach. No complaints. We are already planning our return to Ponte Vedra for next year and will most definitely stay at the Sawgrass.

Amazing resort. They were exceptionally helpful with everything we needed. The food in the restaurant's was absolutely delicious. I would recommend it to anyone and will surely stay again.

I attended a military reunion at Sawgrass Marriott. The location was very convenient to the beaches and Jacksonville. It is located near various shopping areas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. On site there are several restaurants and beverage locations. There is a lot to do at the resort for children and adults alike. The price was a little steep, but it was a really nice property. I would recommend it to someone, but I probably wouldn't stay there myself again. I'd rather spend my money at Disney!

I stayed here for a sorority convention. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The convention rooms were spacious. The grounds were well kept. The room was standard. My bed was very comfortable. There were many amenities in the hotel- a bar, a starbucks, several restaurants.

Was here for our marriage retreat....This place was awesome...Clean rooms, beds, location, customer reps...more and more...just awesome...Really enjoyed ourselves...

Beautiful hotel, great place to stay to watch the Player's Championship

It's really quite beautiful but the villas are so far away from the convention center it gets a bit daunting being at events here.

Very nice looking hotel from the outside with nice amenities. However, the room my family was placed seemed Hastily cleaned. There was hair still in the bathroom which made me feel that the bed sheets were most likely not all changed. The AC wasn't working properly and a couple of the lights didn't work (I did check to make sure they were plugged in). For the fact is it's called a resort and spa, I was disappointed with how old and not clean the room was. Also, on two different occasions at two separate restaurants, we received a dirty glass of water. I'm not talking about water spots, I'm talking about lipstick mouth prints on the glass. The whole establishment needs to up their standards on cleanliness. The positive is that the staff was very pleasant.

This hotel is awesome, its away from the beach but it has a private beach club that is included for all their guests. The pools are very nice and the crab cakes at the beach club are awesome.

The villas were amazing. My kids loved the pool. The shuttle picked us up right from our room and took us to shopping and the beach. Will definitely come stay again soon.

Took my son's here so we could play the Pete dye courses, especially the players. The Marriott was great . Service was fantastic. Plenty of things to do at the site. Private shuttle was excellent. Took us to a private club with beach access. Hell of a time and no driving to get back. Marriott location was a central place to get Into Jacksonville or St. Augustine. Also great local restaurants within a short drive away. Went their on a 3 day golf package. We all had a fantastic time.

This place is hard to rate. Compared to most other resorts I've stayed at, this place is pretty poor.

Being a Marriott elite member I had many more problems than normal. To start, the air mattress brought up deflated over night while sleeping on it. The bathroom does not have any privacy. The sinks are in the same section as the toilets but there is no lock on the door and there is a large crack that you can see right through. Not good when you are traveling with people who aren't family. The hallways weren't very clean and one of the elevators was broken the WHOLE time we were there. The pools were subpar and the spa wasn't the nicest. Nothing really to do with the people that worked there, it just isn't nice or worth the price. Most Marriotts give you free chairs and umbrellas at the beach, but go figure, not here.

The good: The desserts were great and drinks were fine. The lagoon was cool and the beachside cabana was the nicest part of the whole resort. That's pretty much all it really had going for it.

Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately didn't get to experience the full beauty as it was under construction while I was there. However, everything is clean and well-kept. The fitness center is nice, it has a good amount of machines. Also, the breakfast buffet in the restaurant in the lobby was delicious! Lastly, the little convenience shop in the lobby had such cute things! I purchased a cute Brighton ankle bracelet!

Excellent resort for a short stop or for a long weekend. Staff is superb and the quality of the hotel is really high. Good selection of food and drink, including an in house Starbucks that you can charge to your room. WiFi is available everywhere on hotel premises and works really well.

Having a party ready lobby in the center of the hotel so the noise can be heard in every room is not such a good idea. Outdoor lighting is poor. Security and front desk are very helpful.

While not staying here, we are attending a conference for FES (Florida Engineering Society). The hotel is large and accommodating. Every staff member we have interacted with so far has been nothing but fantastic. Gorgeous view at night overlooking the water.
