When the service on my CMax ended up taking longer...

When the service on my CMax ended up taking longer than anticipated on a Friday afternoon, meaning that the car had to be left at the dealer overnight because I was unable to get there to retrieve it (the shuttle driver had left for the day), Mike Colson came to work on Saturday morning, normally his day off, to make sure that I got the car back as early as possible by coming to pick me up himself. The mechanic who worked on the car also came to work on Saturday morning to make a last-minute adjustment to the tires. They both deserve a lot of credit for making that extra effort, and I truly appreciate it.

I love my 2014 CMAX, but twice it has just had no power- none, and had to have it towed to Sarat, where they could not find the problem. The second, and most recent time I was not happy to be charged for what I felt was a repeat of a previous problem and when asked to answer a survey about my experience - or call if it was less than acceptable, I chose to call. The upshot is I was given a loaner car while they took a closer look at my car. Still no idea why I occasionally lose all power, but I felt that Sarat at least listened and responded to my complaint and concerns.

Don't go here unless you want to be blatantly lied to right to your face.
I brought my dad's truck in for and oil change. I also needed them to activate a stock ford remote start system that I bought my dad for Christmas and installed myself. Now I'm a DIYer and know that it only takes about 5 minutes tops for them to activate the remote start. They only have to plug in the IDS system, go through 3 menus and click activate. I had already cut and programed the keys myself so nothing there.
When I was finally told they were done(took two and a half hours for an oil change for some reason), the service writer told me it took close to an hour cause they had to reprogram the whole thing but she was "only" going to charge me for a half hour. I told her I knew she was full of crap in a nicer way, paid and left.
If she had just told me it took a few minutes but we have to charge you a minimum half hour I would have been much less angry but blatantly lying to my face really pissed me off.
I would highly suggest not going here and I have already told my dad not to take his truck here anymore.

After waiting 2 weeks for an appointment "the works" on my MKC where a Lincoln loaner was requested by myself and Would be provided. Upon check in at Lincoln Service, I was informed "No Lincoln Loaner" available seems the reservation was made but the Lincoln Advisor never told All Star rental to hold a Lincoln loaner. I did decline a Ford Loaner. After all service completed and a cost of $1887.00 which I authorized, the next day I received an E-mail detailing Completed Service it is listed "Lincoln Loaner" which I never received. I called Bradley the Lincoln Advisor left message my paper work is wrong, my service date was 3-19-2019 to date 3-27-2019 I'm still waiting for a Return Call from Lincoln advisor. I did take this issue up with Service Manager & General Manager at Sarat Ford-Lincoln on 3-23-2019. I do understand that "Things Happen". I do not understand however when the advisor told me He returns all phone calls why the return call has not come as of this date 3-27-2019. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. Jim

5 Job well done March 2, 2021

My MKC transmission problem has been fixed, it shifts now as it did the day I purchased it.
The new Lincoln advisor keep me updated on progress of obtaining the parts needed, Kudos to this associate!
The Sarat dealership Transmission repair gentleman who worked on my vehicle did an outstanding job repairing my MKC issues.
Ford service manager very helpful and could not do enough to make certain the vehicle was fixed and told me any future issues please notify them A.S.A.P. so it can be addressed. I personally went into dealership and Thanked, Lincoln advisor, Ford service manager and Transmission repair expert for resolving the transmission issue.
Because of the effort put forth I now see Dealership in a new light.
Heartfelt thanks goes out to all involved with repair to my vehicle, also including Lincoln Concierge woman Telekia she could not have been anymore helpful. I thanked Telekia for all her help and keeping me updated on progress of repair on my vehicle.
Lincoln should be very proud and fortunate to have Team members as these four individuals.
Thank you all for your help in correcting my MKC Transmission issues.

We deal with this dealership for service of a municipal Ambulance and by far this is the best dealership in our area to deal with for service related issues. They are thorough, fast, accurate, courteous, and always pleasant to deal with. I have to imagine the sales department is of equal caliber.

I cannot say enough good things about Lenny Weiss the salesperson for my new Lincoln Navigator L and the whole team at Sarat. I had a very difficult situation trying to locate a new Lincoln Navigator L. Lenny took on the challenging task and handled it with class, honesty, and professionalism. His kept me informed throughout. He made what is usually something we all dread -- dealing with car dealerships -- a very pleasant experience. Lenny is amazing and one of the best salespeople I have ever come across in my career in any field, bar none! I highly recommend Lenny and Sarat. 5 star rating!!

The service department ROCKS!!!! Service manager used to work for a garage in town, he isn't very impressive. But, the newer people he hired are really helpful and accommodating. I had almost given up going there, even though that's where I always buy my cars from.

Once again, I have nothing but praise for the service team at Sarat Ford.
I went for State Inspection, oil and lube and tire rotation. I waited for the vehicle in their clean, comfortable waiting area. A service advisor walked up with my dirty oil filter to ask if I wanted it changed. I said absolutely. It was all done in a timely manner and fair price. This 2015 Escape Titanium has 30,000 trouble free miles on it. I highly recommend the team at Sarat Ford!

Sold us a damaged car and then after numerous attempts to contact the salesperson, we were given a small vial of factory paint and told to fix it ourselves. Now, we are trying to request proof they paid the state sales tax (which the state disputes)...and nobody will return our emails!

What a fantastic experience!
I had a problem that made my vehicle un-drivable. (It was due to an improperly completed safety recall repair done at another dealer.) This was during the beginning of August, an extremely busy time of the year, and all dealers in the area were scheduling appointments more than a week into the future. I told Carol, the Assistant Service Manager, that this was my only vehicle and I needed it for work and she was able to get one of the techs to look at it. He discovered the other dealer's faulty repair and quickly got my vehicle back in shape. Carol even contacted the other dealer and got them to pay to fix the faulty repair.
During this visit I was treated very courteously. I was kept informed of what was going on at all times. Sarat Ford came through for me in a big way when I really needed help. They made it known through their actions and communications that they valued me as a customer.
I had originally gone to the other dealer to save one day on the repair time. I won't make that mistake again. I'd rather work with a dealership that has demonstrated their honesty and competency and that has my trust. From now on all my service will be done at Sarat.

They all did all wonderful job! When I arrived I was met by a warm and friendly greeting by an associate that wished me a good morning and showed me where to go. He brought me to the Service Writer and made the introductions. The Writer asked what brought me into the Dealership Today? I explained that I didn't have an appointment and he assured me that was not a problem. After the initial documentation he suggested that the 'Works Package" would give me everything I was asking for and then some. This impressed me that he was looking to help me to get the best service at a discounted price. He then asked how I would like to be contacted when the vehicle would be completed. Text, Email, Phone call? He also repeated back to me the information that he had in their system and made any changes to update their files. He Thanked me for giving them a chance to WOW me with their service. I received a call when the vehicle was ready and again it was flawless to the point of setting up my next appointment. Even the cashier greeted me with a smile and asked how she could help me and then thanked me wishing me a great day! To my amazement they even cleaned my vehicle inside and out. Way to go Sarat Ford Lincoln!
