This was my first experience with Soozie and Lovely Salon and Spa. Soozie was a joy to work with and I love my hair! Perfect cut & color/gloss. She talked with me about what my expectations were for my color and cut, and she fully delivered an amazing style. Soozie has a wealth of knowledge and is friendly and fun. Beautiful salon in a convenient location with off-street parking.
Keeley did a wonderful job of my haircut, massage and shampoo, and defining the trimming of my new beard. Krystal brought me a fresh cup of tea and was very courteous and friendly at the reception desk. I always relax and enjoy the total experience at this Lovely Salon :)
I am in love with Lovely and its staff. I tried the salon on a whim because it is right by my house and I really needed a haircut. When I arrived I was greeted and shown around the salon. Emily is the stylist who cut my hair and she is FANTASTIC. She listened to what I wanted (which was a huge change because I was getting bangs) and she cut my hair perfectly. I have never like getting my hair cut but since going here and having Emily cut my hair that has all changed. I would HIGHLY recommend Lovely to anyone looking for a wonderful place to unwind and get a great hair cut.

Best salon in Milwaukee. From check in to the moment you leave it's a really great experience. You are offered coffee or tea upon arrival, when you sit down your stylist listens intently to exactly what you want or will help you decide. Then you get a quick head and shoulder massage to relax you before you get your hair washed and start the haircut.

Best men's haircut in Milwaukee! I have fine hair and some parts are cowlick. Every time I go somewhere else, they mess it up. If you care about your appearance and want the best, go see Brad. He's the best! Great value!

This place really knows how to treat their customers! My first visit I arrive to find out the person I was scheduled with called in so I was switched to another stylist. They apologized and offered me a beverage things happen no big deal. I met Brad. We go over what I'm looking for and the appointment starts with a scalp massage and a shoulder rub. I'm in heaven! I love my cut! Brad gives me styling tips and I decide to schedule an appointment for coloring and highlights. Brad took the time to go over my choices offered advice but allowed me to make my own decision without being pushy in any way. While the color was taking I was treated to a hand rub. And my color turned out beautifully! Then Brad finished me off with a little lipstick and gloss and sent me on my way feeling absolutely fabulous! This place is worth every penny!

Staff is wonderful make you feel lije family. Susie did a wonderful job on my haircut and highlights. Melissa does a great job on nails. Then for my wedding day i believe her name was shannon, as i am terrible at remembering names did my updo. Made me cry as i hadnt looked that beautiful in a long time. Amy did my make up made me look like a model. All night i received comment after comment on how beautiful i looked. You will not be disappointed going here.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the adorable salon, its beautiful decorations and its incredibly cohesive and courteous staff. 4 different people along with my stylist asked if I needed anything and were able to answer questions I had regarding a new product I was thinking of purchasing. This was the first time I was ever at this salon and I will definitely be coming back.
I do enjoy my visits to Lovely. The attention to detail from all associates is obvious from the beginning to the end of each experience. Conversation is friendly, thoughtful, and warm. Joan takes time to inquire and ask questions and I am always pleased with her professional suggestions. My hair is quite happy as well! Thank you so much!

I had my hair cut with Tayler and she did such a great job. This place goes above and beyond a typical salon. They start all haircuts with a ridiculously relaxing scalp massage. They use essential oils and warm towels. They make sure you re super relaxed, I felt like I had a spa treatment not a haircut. Plus she listened to exactly what I wanted, and knew how to treat my wavy hair. 10/10

Soozie always does a great job. The appointment before me ended up running a little late due to it being a bride's last appointment before her wedding and Soozie was amazing at keeping me informed and asking if I was alright with waiting or if I had any issue. I had no problems as I understood the situation and I'm flexible. Soozie did an amazing job making me feel appreciated due to my willingness to be flexible feel.
I had an amazing experience with Rachel for my first appointment at Lovely. Upon arrival the salon staff were very friendly and welcoming. The salon itself is super cute, has a nice relaxing environment, and had great music. They use Aveda products which always leave my hair feeling great as well! Rachel did a full balayage for me that turned out great, as well as a nice fresh cut. Will definitely be coming back!

I have been going to Lovely for 5 years, primarily to Hailee, and I have never had even an average experience. Everything is consistently excellent, no matter who I see. Keely and Crystal are always super accommodating (since I always call last minute...I'm annoying like that) and I know that whoever they schedule me with is going to do a great job. Lovely could charge far more than they do for their services.
Addie comes highly recommended. Color looks great, cut looks great.
I used Lovely for my wedding day hair and makeup. They were able to accommodate myself, my bridesmaids, my mom, and the groom's mom and grandma (9 of us total!). Everyone was great! They gave us a little corner of the salon with a table and cute wedding decor to set up snacks and hang out.
All of us girls looked fabulous! They made sure that everyone was happy with their styles and makeup. Amee and Marissa were fantastic! My hair and makeup still looked great at 2am after the wedding and we had some rain that day!!
The salon is so cute and clean; Emma put me at ease right away and was very attentive. Brad did a phenomenal job with my hair and was able to distill exactly what I wanted quickly. I will absolutely be back!

The girls that work there are knowledgeable in the products used and how to apply the products. Except they overprice their service, and they are not consistent with their prices amongst each stylist. It's difficult to schedule appointments. They come across as being really nice, but it feels like an act. Instead of giving that needed comforting atmosphere there is a lot more drama, and feels like you have to watch what you say. They are not open about their concerns so you might be repermended by the person that is serving you.
UPDATED...This place is unprofessional....called and canceled on my wife twice and made no offer to work her in. Better to spent your money elsewhere with a business that appreciates their customers...update....the owner called my wife personally and made this right...thank you...so I changed my review to 4 stars

It was time for a change and she NAILED IT!! I absolutely love everything about Lovely Salon. I first started going to Lovely two years ago. I made an appointment to donate my hair. When I got there Hailee, my stylist told me my cut would be free since I would be donating my hair and they would take care of donating the hair for me to Locks of Love! From the moment I walk into the door to the time I check out and leave, everyone that works at the salon is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very relaxing and calm. In the past if I can't get in to see Hailee I make an appointment with another hair stylist. Everyone is amazing, I have yet to have a bad haircut or experience. I recommend this salon to all of my girlfriends! I started taking my five year old daughter in for haircuts shortly after I started going to the salon, and she always looks forward to her appointments. Lovely is truly a one of a kind salon. I can't wait to visit their new location in March!

Everytime I go into Lovely I feel rejuvenated! I have gotten my hair done here for over a year now and have never had a bad experience. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm welcomes and offered a beverage and to have your coat hung up. The salon is clean and always smells amazing, not to mention the calming sense it has. The overall aesthetic is in one word: relaxing. Which is exactly what I want to do at a salon! I go to Samantha to get my hair done and absolutely adore her! She does a fantastic cut and color! She really listens to what the client wants, while also providing her professional opinion. She is the nicest person and makes others feel welcomed, cared for and beautiful.
Throughout the process, you're given a completely relaxing experience and a wonderful conversation! 10/10.

The staff is friendly. The decor is calming and pretty. Be on the lookout for " accidental" mistakes, such as forgetting to honour a coupon or booking the wrong service, that result in up charges. The environment really is beautiful; and, the nail technician was responsive to my concerns and needs.
After having a bad experience with a stylist elsewhere, I was reluctant to get my hair dyed again. However, I am so glad that I did when I decided to take a chance and try Lovely! Shannon did an excellent job on my balayage. It looks natural and is better than I could have imagined. It makes sense why the salon is called Lovely, because that's exactly how you'll feel when you leave.
By far the best salon/spa experience I have had in Milwaukee! The space is beautiful and so soothing. I ve had several excellent haircuts here, but would most highly recommend massages with Amanda!

My Hair Stylist is Hailee and she is a very personable young woman. She s kind and thoughtful, she s very good at her profession. She creates an experience that is very calming and relaxing, and when she is finished, I m very happy with the way my hair looks and feels.
Happy to see everyone was wearing a mask and keeping a safe distance from each other. Felt safe and comfortable getting my hair cut. Rachel did a great job for the first time cutting my hair. Plus, I love the way everything Aveda smells. I enjoyed the scent in my hair all evening long!
I have been to many salons where stylists have not really listened to what my needs were and they would cut my hair the way they wanted. Tina spent time listening to my needs and actually cut my hair in a manner that gave me the results that I wanted. I now feel that I have a salon to go to after a long search. I can't wait to try more services.

I was very happy with my reflexology pedicure from Brit! She is a consummate professional who makes sure I am happy with the color on my toes and that I am completely relaxed and realigned when she is finished with the reflexology. She leaves nothing out - even goes the extra mile - and I am always satisfied! That said, please find another pedicure chair. The current one is extremely uncomfortable. It is too small, doesn't recline, has no heat, only massages on one side, and tips over! (Someone is going to get hurt, I'm afraid.) My back needs a massage after sitting in it for my pedicure. Please help Brit's services to be 100% amazing by replacing that awful chair!
I also had a wax service from Amee. She knows her craft well. (If you've never had the inside of your nose waxed, you should try it! No ugly hairs peeking out anymore!) I was completely happy with my brow tint and wax too. Amee is also one of the kindest people I have ever met.
Lovely salon is a great Bay View business. I've been there several times to get manicures. They use Aveda products and the workers are professional, kind, and efficient. The prices are reasonable and the environment is great.
Joan is the absolute best! I have dry. coarse hair, yet she transforms my hair into a shiny, more youthful appearance!! Always positive energy coming from Joan, I look forward to my visits with her!! Everyone here is very service friendly!

Was put on hold for so long that I had to call back trying to set up an appt at which time the receptionist informed me they are really popular and booked 4 months out. Was looking for a new stylist as mine moved out if state and she said she would take my name and number if an opening became available I said that would be great she then proceeded to hang up in me. Wow is all I can say!

I ve seen Brit several times now for my nails and they are always adorable and healthy when I leave. I ve been to many salons that wreak havoc on my nails, but I feel Brit is actually taking care of my them and I feel pampered every time.
I also have seen Shay for a massage with Reiki and Rachel for my hair.

Hailee is always a gem. This was the first time I had gotten my hair professionally colored in 6 years and it looks AMAZING- better than I could have imagined. She knows exactly what will look good and speaks the truth. I ve walked in with so many options for styles and she walks me through the maintenance and her professional opinion based on my skin tone or face shape. Big chops or small trims, the whole experience from start to finish is top notch. Plus, she s so fun to be around and time flies while I m there.

I love this place. It feels like home here instead of a hospital like feel some salons can have. They truly care about your needs and making you feel comfortable. My nail technician, Brit, does an excellent job every time! Also they have white wine, which is always a plus after a long day! Adds to your relaxation!

Also, this was the most relaxing haircut I ve ever had, thanks to the various massages throughout my services. I m very happy with my cut and color and looking forward to my next visit.
I like my hair stylist technique wise, this is my second time here. However, she forced products on me and I did not stand up and say no to it. The price of the service is already pretty high, plus expensive Aveda products.
Amee knew from my previous visit that I had apprehension and she was great at alleviating it. I felt so calm and relaxed afterwards that I couldn t believe an hour had passed. Fantastic job!

I used to love them until my stylist Hailee charged me for bang trim. And until they kept booking me with other stylists when I specifically requested her. It kind of sucks to show up and be told that someone else will cut your hair when you arrive, especially if you specifically request a certain person. Could you at least call to tell that they won't be available?
