Great rooms, friendly staff, nice facility...under construction right now but not messy. Seems a bit big and unwieldy, a bit difficult to figure out navigating.

Don't stay there during a 49ers game unless you are going to it...cuz traffic is a disaster!

A big square of a hotel, so it can be a bit of a trek if you end up on the far side. The rooms are nice, beds are soft, good water pressure. The WiFi is expensive, and no free breakfast, but that may not matter to you. Other than that, it's about what you'd expect for the price.

Very good property.. You get complimentary parking if you do mobile checkin. You can use mobile key to enter the room. Breakfast is free for gold and platinum guests. Better yet opt for green choice and get more points. The rooms are clean and good. Internet is complimentary for gold and platinum guests. Speeds are decent. The TV is configured to welcome you by your name.. Its a smart TV and you can access Netflix, Hulu, crackle, YouTube, TED etc..

Those used to Marriotts are in for a bit of a pleasant surprise: this is a somewhat older property and thus free of modern "amenities" like boxcar-style bathroom doors. That's not to say the property is unloved: its twin towers feature up-to-date furnishings and A/V gear, bolstered by in-house car rental counters and exceptional dining options (specifically Plot 104). Travelers over 6' might want to inquire about rooms with higher bathroom ceilings than my room has; also note that fridges and safes aren't standard.

There was no particular complaint except that the passage to the rooms was long. Traveling from the hotel is inconvenient if you do not use a taxi such as Uber, but it is normal here, so it doesn't matter. I used Uber for the first time for the first time, but it was very easy to understand, and I didn't need to talk to the driver.

As there is no toothpaste as equipment, it is better to bring only the toothpaste set. There was also a soap. Charge by USB was possible, too and Wifi was comfortable.

Very nice and clean rooms. Took issue with the fact that the bath/shower has no fan! Single short shower with hot water steamed up the entire bathroom, had to keep door open in hopes of using the only mirror in the room to prepare the four of us go out for dinner out. Within 3 minutes the the 'smoke' alarm started chirping, and frequency increased to the point I felt the alarm was going to activate. Had to keep the door closed and wait close to a half hour. Seriously flawed design.

Have gone here for coffee with co workers before meetings several times. One time they had a gingerbread house competition from local kids. Adorable. 4 stars because we often have to hunt for coffee (had to go to the bar last time).

Such an odd hotel. Its huge. A bit of a maze and the elevators rarely worked during a 4 day stay. The gym is large but the staff didn't keep up well with the water and towels. Overall nice but some odd things here and there.

Was at this hotel for a conference over two days. It is a good environment with decent size rooms for a small to mid size conference. The food was of very good quality including some healthier options. Overall positive experience. Minor improvement could be better temperature adjustment; some of the salons were pretty cold.

A totally bland hotel, with a labyrinthine entry and ugly to rage. Room 303 was large, which does not explain the small size of the bathroom. To close the door you had to go to the bottom of the sink, to enter the shower you had to close the door or climb on top of the toilet. And the shower was so low that my husband had to wash his hair with his knees bent. It was an unworthy bathroom for a room of such a price. The only quality was the amenities. The mattress on the bed was totally sunken in certain places. The room had no extra towels, no extra blankets, no extra pillows. The coffee and tea set was bare and poor for a hotel in this category; although I must emphasize that when I asked the maid for more tea and more milk she left me a full bag. She was very kind. On the positive side highlight the reception service which was superb. And also the beautiful pool and the restaurant area.

The Parcel 104 restaurant is an excellent weekday lunch destination. Few patrons mean excellebt service and attention. The menu is limited in a very good way, and each starter, entree, dessert and seasonal cocktail selection is superb. This last visit, we enjoyed an organic cucumber infused Tom Collins; the fresh catch salmon; a simultaneously spicy and refreshing Asian chicken salad; and what the waiter convincingly touted as "the best burger in the Bay Area" (hard to argue). On the pricey side, but great for client/prospect meals.

This hotel is a very busy hotel. It's huge too, with 2 towers and a courtyard hotel block. It's busy because they host events (met 2 events in the week I stayed there). Event guests can be a bit rowdy. The pool is well used in the summer and the patio can be occupied till late night. If asked, choose the rooms at the towers if you don't want to walk far. It's a bit of a walk to the courtyard rooms.

as a Marriott Platinum member they gave me a great experience. It was my daughter's birthday and I asked to get an upgrade for one night. They didn't have any rooms available however they did have a presidential suite available exclusively because I asked for her birthday to be special. In Marriott fashion they gave me an upgrade my daughter was extremely happy and we had an outstanding time. This is why I come back to this Marriott faithfully and will continue. Cheers to the Santa Clara Marriott family thanks for being such great hosts.

The lobby and restaurant are good but the building is old. They charge the parking fee but if you have a mobile check in via Marriott application then they offer the free parking. Room is good but bathroom is too small.
Overall is good.

Agree the place has seen better days. Two of the floors are Courtyard rooms, and despite paying for the hotel, I got one of those rooms. The hallways are right out of the 70s, but the rooms are not bad. If you imagine this to be a motel, it'd be a decent one.

Beautiful clean hotel, nice room, great cosmetics, and most importantly, quiet. Excellent sound insulation. Recommend for business travel. One caveat - when I asked the adapter (from European to American) at the reception, I was offered it first for $ 10, and when I said that I would return it in two days, because I ll leave, then for 7. All over the world, such adapters are distributed for free, and no one even checks if you passed it on departure. Osadochek.

I was at the Marriott for a work related event. The event hall was very well equipped, clean, and nice. The hotel lobby and indoor areas were also very nice. Parking in the structures was convenient.
