Mark Neidengard Review of Santa Clara Marriott
Those used to Marriotts are in for a bit of a plea...
Those used to Marriotts are in for a bit of a pleasant surprise: this is a somewhat older property and thus free of modern "amenities" like boxcar-style bathroom doors. That's not to say the property is unloved: its twin towers feature up-to-date furnishings and A/V gear, bolstered by in-house car rental counters and exceptional dining options (specifically Plot 104). Travelers over 6' might want to inquire about rooms with higher bathroom ceilings than my room has; also note that fridges and safes aren't standard.
