Stopped in for a bite to eat with a collegue. Food was good lots of sports on tv. Had fish tacos and clam chowder. Friends had a steak sandwich and tuna appetizer. Service was ok. They were very busy. The hotel is booked. There is also a fancy more expensive restaurant on the premises.

As of May 2019, they are in the final stages of renovating the place. The lobby and the lounge are really great. Renovated rooms are in the Marriott style of the late 2010s. Easy access to local businesses for business meetings. Friendly staff. Big weight room that could use a little refresh but I won t complain.

It looks a bit plain from the outside but the interior is pretty nice. The parking outside was adequate but it would have been better if it were a closed structure, instead it has an open top and only two levels.

The lobby was nice but Marriott is trying to promote their mobile check in only their system isn't working. They have a special check in line so you get faster service only no one who works there works to cover that line so you have to wait until all the others who didn't use their faster mobile check in can check in first. The AC in the room was also really loud and woke me up throughout the night.

Great hotel for professional conferences near Great America roller coaster park, near Santa Clara 49er football, in the middle of Silicon Valley.

A bit lower rating, perhaps due to the fact that they were doing renovations when I was here. But the organization of the hotel is super confusing. After staying 4 nights, I still needed to use the signs to know where my room is, it is like a maze! No hot water in the showers unless if you leave the shower running for a few minutes, which is tough to do if you're being water conscious in California. Rooms are a bit dated.

Loved the outdoor pool and the fact that it had two marked lanes for lap swimming! It was well heated, even okay to swim in November at 10pm! Loved that! Hot tub is small given the size of the hotel and was very full.

This is hands down the best Marriott I have ever stayed at, and I stay well over 130 nights every year at hotels, including other Marriott properties in the US. The hotel hardware is standard, nothing too fancy for a Marriott, but they did a good job maintaining it so it feels good. The room is spacious and clean. The part that sets this hotel apart is the service. I asked for some supplies one night, fully expecting it not showing up in 30 minutes given how busy they are, but to my surprise the maintenance guy showed up in 5 minutes within my call. I was very surprised and happy. The platinum breakfast place is big and lots of options to choose from. The oatmeal was out the other day when I was there, talked to the manager, she immediately brought out a whole new bowl of oatmeal. Everywhere else I have stayed at, that's at least 5 minutes wait. Bottom line, this is a very nice hotel to stay in if you are in the bay area. I have actually already adjusted my reservation from Westin to this place. Highly recommend it.

I really like this hotel. I stay here every time I go to Santa Clara. The rooms are really comfortable, the staff see very friendly and the restaurant, Parcel 104 is great. They have a huge selection of Bourbon, and they'll make an ice sphere for your drink.

Old school Marriot, big glitzy lobby and huge facility over all. I was there for business and no football or theme park was happening so it was as little surreal. Feel a bit dated, small room with a smell of mold, air freshener thought the place... I like the Fremont Marriot much better.

Came here to attend a family reunion. Very close to San Jose Santana Row, Milpitas Great Mall and Great America. Staff is pleasant, room is clean. Bathroom sliding door is very inconvenient. I am in my 40's but had a hard time pushing it. Bathroom needs some make-over. Will still recommend.

This barebones Marriott doesn't have a club level. Nether did it have newspapers, robes, slippers, the usual things. And the room had no drawers. But the staff could not have been nicer.

Nice place to enjoy a quiet and relaxed brunch with good service. The food is cooked with high quality and the service is really considerate and professional. There is also a good selection of breakfast buffet during brunch time.

Renovations going on and it is total mess. Total maze to get to the room. No easy parking (25 for valet and 15 for self parking). No free breakfast. Room cost is so high ($319 + per day) but no comforts. On top of it the curtains were torn (have pictures of it). Only good point is it is close to my office.

People working there are really cool, they helped me make my sandwich to perfection, let me get a smoke when I ran out. I went for a conference and they had rooms to accommodate any size you need.

Total maze to get to the room, I was in room 3710. Asked about 5 employees throughout my stay which was the best way to get to my room... All had different responses and not once did any of them physically show me, they all pointed and told the first 3 turns us take to get there then I was pretty much on my own for the other 3 hall..

Nice and clean. The building is old and had popcorn ceiling in our guest room, but I still liked it. Very close to major freeways, so it was very convenient to go to many places. It is easy to park because they have a huge parking space.

I stayed at the Santa Clara Marriott while traveling for work. The hotel staff was friendly and my room was both comfortable and clean. While the interior could use an update, the rooms seemed well maintained between guests. If you're in the area and need a place to stay, I would definitely consider this hotel.
