Perfection at all levels from booking to the bill. Great vibe. Magnificent food. Chic with a smile. Teamwork at its finest. The setting is among the best at lake garda. The kitchen team is super talented. The attention to detail is second to none. As a guest it was a sincere pleasure to enjoy the art created by masters of their craft. This should be 3 star Michelin. Bravo and thank you this gastronomic extravaganza a feast for all the senses. Looking forward to return

Our evening at Villa Feltrinelli, was a never to forget experience.
The food is an essential part, but the interaction with the staff and the atmosphere the location induce is what completes and leverage the evening to a dream like existence.

Starting from the welcoming by Alessandro, a stroll through the villa, a drink as we set by the lake and the best small bites we have ever tasted.

Slowly you feel at home. It s like the Villa, the lake, the sounds and the atmosphere are there just for you.

As the evening progressed the food was simply excellent. Surprising, fun, unique. And we got to know Anabel, who served most of the courses to us. We learned about the history of the Villa ( apparently Mussolini used it shortly), the schedule and the vision of the place.
We ended up with the feeling that the chef and the staff really care about the place. About the guests. About our experience. They are there to make it an unforgettable time. An experience which one will cherish and hopefully get a chance to repeat.

I visited the limonaia Feltrinelli Palace on the occasion of the feast of Gargnano citrus. The park is wonderful and the villa splendid. I think that hotel guests can be said to be more than satisfied with the place and the service.

From Monte Carlo to this complete disillusion experience.

When you are ready to spend and they make you feel like a total vermin: yes we drove 3 hours from Monaco determined to arrive and book a room as we checked online availability and book at the counter

The staff literally had nothing to do in that place, location and time: none of their behaviors and routines matches a luxury hotel at all.

Since our arrival we wanted to book a room and as we are bloggers wanted to check first the hotel: they told us they have no rooms.

They even didn t let us in because of the fact we said we are bloggers as according to them this place is of absolute privacy.

Which also make sense to us and made us realize that the management of this hotel even doesn t know the difference between bloggers and a paparazzi.

When they realized we wanted just to make few pictures of the room with balcony and pay for the modest price of one room 926.00,00 they went really nut: no one smile, no one compliment, angry faces from the doorman, it was like a dramatic comedy expect is was our vacation day ruined.

Restaurant they exclaimed is closed until the 7th of September! : wow!

This hotel has no bar for cocktails! : here is the edge of a new paranormal experience.

Having said that we were already very outraged by their rudeness and villain manners, yes we repeat 100% villain manners that no one hotel treated us in this way : we politely decided to leave and commented that our review we hope will compensate their efforts.

What is even worse the staff even don t open the gate to new entrants ready to spend their money: we had to fight before speaking with another gentleman that unfortunately was also not gentle at all instead he was bothered and let us in finally.

Excuse me: we are arrived with a nice car, nicely dressed, ready to spend good money for your hotel.

We were not beggars nor paparazzi: just two young clientele looking for relax as we did in the best luxury chains from USA to Germany and other 12 countries.

Next time we will remain to Monaco or head to another location in French Riviera: Italians apparently have a sense of service that is below any standards.At least in the second hotel Lefay Resort they welcomed us with a big smile.

If you visit their website they are proud of offering A place where time seems to have stopped to make space for just dreams. A place where everything is truly at once was, simply charming .

Well what you sold us actually was a truly nightmare and what you deserve is to close down the hotel as it have none of its luxury service from the early morning angry receptionist to the top management.

And apparently this behavior was the same with other guests nearby us.

Maybe is the Italian crisis, maybe this staff was not trained properly or it is low paid for handling what they claim dream service or maybe is just the cultural crisis they are facing?

The fate of the Villa returns since 1957:Giangiacomo Feltrinelli, the revolutionary publisher who has universally saved "Doktor ivago" the masterpiece novel by Boris Leonidovi Pasternak (Nobel Prize in Literature, 1958).

My praise goes to Mr. Burns. His magnificent rhapsody of beauty, and historical-intellectual charming into a sublime luxurious hospitality. That's why I'm calling his name the "Rhapsody in Burns" just as an allegory of words on one of the most famous musical compositions of the American George Gershwin, the "Rhapsody in Blue".

The founder of the Grand Hotel at Villa Feltrinelli Mr Robert H. Burns, the famous legendary hotelier honoured with PolyU s SHTM Lifetime Achievement Award (Hong Kong, August 2020).

But the fate of the Villa nowadays speaks Russian and is called Renova Group (Viktor Feliksovi Veksel'berg, born in Drogoby Ukraine, April 1957 and he was born of Ukrainian Jewish father and Russian mother): so that is the return to the past, the return to "Doktor ivago".

It is a house with a history. Celebrities like Winston Churchill or Grace Kelly stayed here, and the Duce even made the villa the center of his operetta state.

Villa Feltrinelli was the residence of Benito Mussolini, who stayed there with his family.
While the villa is the Duce's residence, the tower that was still in existence at the time is slept and has to give way to a cannon.

The Villa Feltrinelli is located a few hundred meters north of Gargnano and represents the building of Gargnano with the greatest historical fame.
Nestled in a beautiful park, they surround other buildings that in the past served as homes for the guards and farmers who tended stables and lemon greenhouses. The facade facing the lake represents the most magnificent part of the villa, while the park at the rear of the building has valuable tree species.

Today the building is a luxury villa hotel: the Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli.

Magnificent place you can enjoy a spectacular view, sin has been restored to its origin and little remains of the last historical period of which the villa has been the protagonist.
It would be nice to have descriptions of the places and historical facts that happened in the house.
This for the sole purpose of being able to enjoy the historicity of the place and not only of its beauty, this regardless of any political judgment, but only for historical illustrative purposes.

Timeless historical elegance, a piece of living history, impeccable service, unique location, is among the top 3 hotels in Italy. Of course, according to the equivalent expensive, but appropriate and fair. Something very special.

I went to dinner with my wife for a special occasion, an exceptional welcome on arrival, we were early, so they told us if we wanted to go for a ride, obviously we accepted, beautiful location, the hotel and the garden are wonderful, the view on the lake it is magnificent. They made us sit at a table by the lake for an aperitif, in which they brought us a series of tastings, at least 8, one better than the other. Then we moved to the terrace for dinner, we wanted to try the green (vegetarian) menu and I must say that I was amazed, I didn't think the vegetable cooked could exist. In total including surprise dishes we will have eaten 10 courses if not more, a riot of flavors. 2 michelin stars more than deserve. A special compliment to Alessandro, who followed us all evening, a magnificent person who conveys passion in his work, with dessert made me discover "schnaps", a typical Austrian grappa. Magnificent evening, certainly to be repeated. Prices in line with quality, actually I thought even worse, but for one occasion it's fine

It is situated in an enchanting place between the lake and the mountains and immersed in a well-kept and huge park with swimming pool; the villa in neo-Gothic style, restored in 1997, is a building of great value, the service is impeccable and of a high standard, excellent cuisine; it is also possible to use a Riva motorboat to enjoy unique views of Lake Garda.
