Almost perfect, the bathroom door was weird.. it was a sliding door, didn't really shut.. and the food was great in most of the places, but.. not good at all at one. Every service person was so helpful and looked for ways to say yes, instead of finding ways to say no.

I totally recommend this place.

During our stay this weekend, we spent over $1500 at this hotel on rooms and the spa. The spa day was amazing. However, on the first night, we didn't sleep due to the screen being detached from the balcony door and beating against the glass with the wind from the beach. The next morning, we asked the front desk to have maintenance to fix it. Long story short, after calling the desk 4 times throughout the day, when we got back to the room at 830pm it had STILL not been fixed. We had to wait up for maintenance to get up to the room, then ANOTHER wait for them to fix the screen. Very unacceptable.

When checking out this morning, we spoke with the manager. He was rude telling us he could only take off resort fees, which we didn't use anyway... and said "If you're asking for a free room, that's not gonna happen." First off, we weren't asking for anything free, only expressing how unsatisfactory our visit was... especially with the money that was spent. The manager was very rude and not willing to listen beyond what the front desk had already taken care of. As far as the hotel, this is a nice place... as long as you don't have any issues to be fixed. And don't expect a manager to help.

Booked online and payment was paid immediately.

Booked online and payment was paid immediately.

Upon arrival at approximately 3:30pm we decided to check in a bit early. We were told the room was not quite ready, they would send us a text and out room number shortly. Understandable, you figure 4, 4:30 max it would be ready so we hung around.

Finally get a text at 5:17pm so we made our way to find parking and find the room. Mind you this is with 2 young kids age 2 and 6.
We finally get there at 5:45pm , walk in to our room and the room is a mess. It has not been serviced yet.

We call the front desk, get the run around. Finally got a person and was told that's the only room available... wow only room in the whole complex. You gotta be kidding me.

They said they will call room service right away. Imagine having plans and appointments, just to have to sit and wait while you had to pay for this room.
It's nearly 6:20pm and nothing yet. There goes our dinner reservations...So much for a nice quick weekend family get away.

Poorly ran, Bayside complex looks dated. Don't waste your money and time here.

This was our first time here in Miramar Beach and staying at the Hilton was FANTASTIC! Clean rooms for my wife, oldest son 7 and baby boy 8 months. The Junior Suite was just that and then some. I love the view and how easy it was to check in and out of the hotel. We will probably make this our Fall Break yearly destination! Love it, from being right on the beach to the clean swimming pool and jacuzzi. Great food...order the crab cake from room service, it will Not disappoint!
Loved it!

Terrible hotel. Stayed there many times, until one time came with my new girlfriend (interracial) and received uniform racist and sexist treatment from the entire staff all the way up to the GM who refused to make it right. I am a Hilton Diamond member, stay over 200 nights a year in hotels across the nation, and I can honestly say that this property is the worst possible hotel staff wise that one could ever stay at. I d recommend buying a tent and camping outside if that is the only other option to staying here.

I had a unpleasant experience at this place. I reserved an ocean view room that was $400 per night. Since I was coming from different state, arrived at 12:30 p.m which was earlier than my check in time 4:00p.m. I did all my paper work and stuff first and they told me they will let me know once the room is ready. So left my number and looked around the area and spent time at the beach and came back to the hotel at 3:30. jennah, the hotelier told me the room is still not ready. I was totally understandable since it wasn't check in time. So we waited waited and waited. it was 4:30 bUT they said that room was still not ready and they don't know when it will be ready. We were all wet since we came back from the beach and they were letting other people check in but not me. So I complained to the manager told me there was nothing that they can do about it. We were the only Asian family there so I don't know if this is something to do with racism... after 4:45 they gave us random room that I didn't reserve. We just accepted their offer because my kids were shaking under the air condition.
This place is not worth a one star
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Have been coming to this hotel multiple times a year for about 10 years now and each time it gets better and better. They continually add to the property, update old features, and maintain a high level of quality. Come in the off months for an empty property with the same great weather and beach, minimal to no crowds.

After a 3 night stay with family it was time to checkout. The whole trip was excellent until checkout time. Around 10:30 the front desk called asking to settle an issue with the card used for the bill. However we had indicated at check in that we would be paying with a different method at checkout. We told front desk we would be down in a few after we finished cleaning up, packing etc. We came back from loading up our cars with some of our belongings and we re heading back to our room to grab purses to pay when we realized our room keys were no longer working. We went back down to the lobby to inform them and they said it was because of our billing mishap. Which is fine. Whatever, I understand, I get it. However, that s when the issues began. The security officer conducted the situation completely unprofessionally and even made a statement into his work mic they re going in for their belongings, I ll walk them down . The manner in which he handled the situation was in-dignifying especially in front of children. Making it seem like we were criminals. Escorting us down to lobby and WATCHING us to make sure we paid. He stayed there the whole time even after we finished paying. THEN he continued to follow me down to the elevator AFTER our balance had already been paid off. I have never felt more demoralized and targeted. The receptionist stated it was protocol and that people had walked out before and I understand that, however that does not mean you treat the rest of your guests in such a way. The security officer watched us the whole time and even after we paid. We were there with 10+ more family members. We would have no reason to walk out. It had already been established that there would be a different payment method at checkout and to leave our vacation feeling like we were criminals was a devastating end to such a great time. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Super cool place to chill during the day if you're a broke joker like me. I took a date here, hit the pool, beach and had a great dinner at a banquet we snuck into. Thanks Hilton and the folks from Southeast Orthopedics or whatever. Cool place.

If your delivering here in a 18 wheeler you better be on your A game. This place wasn't designed for trucks. My advice is ask for more money up front because ur about to earn every dollar. I feel sorry for u if u have to fold a tarp like i did.

This is a very good setup place for special events or just fun in the sun. The resort has a lot of things to offer and it's very close to the beach, in fact it's right on the beach. Plenty of parking and also close to shops and other activities. This was a great venue for the race that was put on the day I was there. We stayed after at the resort bar and pool for the award ceremony and it was very well set up.

We are locals in the area and absolutely love the Hilton. we decided to stop in for a spa treatment. My husband had an excellent massage and really enjoyed the Spa. Come an hour early before your spa you'll enjoy the amenities. Plus we had lunch by the pool deck with stunning views of the beach.

Facility is good. The brealfast area staff are kinda rude. They need customer service training. Rolling eyes and never smiling staff makes me feel that their breakfast is exceptional, so i just let it go. But it's not. Nothing out of ordinary from scrambled egg, sausages, grits. So, a smile from a staff including managers can make ordinary breakfast exceptional. Other than that, place is clean and the view is awesome.

We are currently holding "duel hotel citizenship "...

We are currently holding "duel hotel citizenship " between here and the neighboring Luau Condos next door. My in-laws and children are staying here so husband and I are back and forth. We love the Sandestin Hilton for all the convenience of the restaurants and beach access. You must have a wrist band to use these facilities, and when my Mother in law explained the situation, guest services was happy to accommodate us with wrist bands and parking until we could check into our condo later in the day. Be sure to check out Barefoot Grill by the pool for burgers, fries, chicken tenders and more. Piknix is a great place for ice cream and Starbucks is inside near the large indoor pool. There is a raw sushi bar inside and a really nice steakhouse in which you will want to dress up for. Towels for the use of the three pools and three hot tubs are provided. The view from their room is really nice. Overall, very impressed!

There is nothing I hate more than being ripped off...

There is nothing I hate more than being ripped off. To me, hidden and unnecessary charges are being ripped off. So you book a room at a given cost, then arrive at the hotel at 2 pm, only to be charged $30 for amenity fees???? Really?? You have to leave before 11 am and it's the same situation, $30 fee with absolutely no time to use it. If you want to play these really silly and pointless games, just roll it into the room cost. So what are the amenities that cost us $30 a day? Guest room internet access, unlimited local and 800 phone calls, fitness center access, resort tram shuttle, SELF parking, Kids under 10 eat breakfast free, Access to resort activities, games limited to availability and seasonality, exclusive shopping passes. All of those so called amenities are pointless to the average person, yet they are so important to Hilton that you pay $30 a day for them. To me that is being ripped off and it really detracts from what would otherwise be a nice stay. You'd think that being a beach resort, that $30 could be used for beach chairs and umbrellas, but of course you'd be wrong. I'll be sure to look for another hotel in the future.

Phenomenal hotel and resort!! The customer service begins the second you drive through the entrance gate to walking into your room! World class customer service abounds in every corner of this hotel. Rooms are super clean as well as the remainder of the hotel. Located right on the beach, it takes ministers to get from your room to the beach. Food was amazing as well. I ve pasted a picture of the omelet made by Jarrell. Over the years, I have tried to perfect the perfect omelet but Jarrell took it to another level. I watched him as he took order after order remembering each and every customer and serving them with a smile! This chef was AMAZING and I wanted to highlight him on this post. Only complaint I would have would be the rude people who go to these places and think that the people who serve them are subservient to them. You d be surprised (if you only took the time) to learn about them. Many served in the military, or were professionals in their previous lives. Take the time to THANK them for cleaning your rooms, or taking your luggage to your room, or pouring you a drink. A THANK YOU can go along way to people who provide a service to you!!!!!

Great place and as always, kudos to the hotel leadership and the Hilton brand!

Such a beautiful hotel!! I haven t stayed at many hotels but this is my first time at the Hilton and I was amazed at how big and beautiful it was. The pool area was so pretty, it was kept clean, anything you needed was right there within walking distance, they have a store inside that sells merchandise but half of it is like a convenient store so medicine snacks etc was all right there for us. My oldest was very sick while there she was running high fevers and coughing really bad so I am thankful for the lady at that store and the products they carried so I didn t have to get out of the hotel to get her stuff. The hotel room was so nice too. I actually got a room with two queen beds and didn t realize the rooms come with bunk beds too... so my husband and I and our two girls had plenty of sleeping room between the two queen beds, sofa bed, and the bunk beds lol. This was our first family vacation and it turned out amazing, I highly recommend Hilton Sandestin, it s gated, it s clean, everything you need is there and if you don t want you don t have to leave to get anything..the only thing I wish I could change about the rooms is how small the fridge is. I made it work but I brought our own food for lunches and breakfast and it was a tight fit. Other than that I see why it s so highly rated! I plan to go back every year in august(:

Near the beach (which is amazing) with shopping nearby and inside. Had two pools and hot tubs (inside or outside) which are great. Had an amazing view from our room.

Weather was lovely for late October/early November. Rooms still have popcorn ceilings, but I don't think it took away from anything. The staff was great and helpful.
