Had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Sandestin. The room was amazing, view was gorgeous, and beach outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, the chocolate chip waffle was so good! Thank you to Angelica and Catherine for assisting us when our children got sick. Housekeeping and lost and found were so nice to us when we forgot some items in our room. The only issue was a sliding door that was not working well and broken blinds, but we were able to overlook it for the beautiful view and the friendly staff! Definitely worth upgrading to a beachfront room! We will back!

Location and Service were outstanding. Rooms were nice; however, my sheets were dirty on the first night. This was corrected though. Internet was good. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Fitness center was clean and well-equipped. The spa seemed popular, but I did not visit. The pool area and beach were huge, clean, and well staffed. Restaurants food quality and service is great. Conference catering is hit or miss. Breakfast buffets were decent but lacking in portion and variety. The catered (caffeinated) coffee was by far the worst I've ever experienced. A number of attendees agreed it smelled and tasted like burnt marijuana; please pardon the bluntness. What lacked at breakfast was made up for at lunchtime. The lunch buffets were phenomenal in quality and options service seemed better as well. Convience store and snack bars nickel amd dime you. $5 for a granola bar, $3 for (the good) coffee. All-in-all: a good experience and excellent place to enjoy "life on the gulf" for a week.

We owned a room there for 25 years and it s like coming home. The staff and the hotel has undergone a major renovation but it still has a great ambiance about it. They had a wonderful fireworks show that weekend and I could sit on my balcony and enjoy every minute of it which lasted about an hour. I will always go back there and visit my third home always.

My wife and I stayed here for a marriage retreat weekend and when we checked in the room I reserved was not available. Matter of fact we reserved a King Suite with a Beach view and they did not have a single room available with a King bed. So we had to settle for two double beds which was almost an oxymoron because we were here for a Marriage Retreat. Needless to say it did not start off well. I will say this the young woman checking me in tried to accommodate us but the manager would not allow it and she even threw in a coupe of lunches there at the Hilton which was kind but still didn't put me in a bed with my wife.

Upset and angry I didn't really have a choice. So we checked in and settled into our room. Still mad I decide to send Hilton an email and I received an auto response that probably didn't help in the moment. We made the best of it and enjoyed our time together.

The reason I'm giving them a 4 star is because two days after we checked out I received a phone call from their GM Gary. Awesome guy by the way. He gladly listened to what had happened and offered his sincerest apologies. He also gave us a break on our stay which was like icing on the cake. I appreciated the phone call more than anything and Gary allowed us to be wowed by Hilton even after our stay. I wasn't planning on staying at a Hilton ever again but because of Gary I will give it another shot!

Thank you Gary for making our experience better even after we left!

I was here with my wife and son for a short family get away. This was one of the best hotels that I have stayed in by far. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurants food was great. It's right on the beach so in the mornings your able to walk out the hotel right onto the beach and watch the sunrise and sunset. Every now and again around sunset we got to see wild dolphins playing just off the shoreline.

My husband and I travel often for work and pleasure, enough so that we are diamond status with Hilton. That being said this was not the best Hilton we have ever stayed at. Beautiful location, definitely! We chose it for our anniversary trip as the location is wonderful.
Our room I felt was a bit dated with older carpet. While checking in we were not given our pool bands or notified of some of the amenities we could use. It wasn't until our second trip to the front desk that we were told we could use the spa, how the bands work and towel checkout, where was breakfast and where we could eat. The pool deck was dirty with hair floating around in the water. Would I stay here again? For the price, no. I seldom give four stars, always five, but just couldn't this time.

I went to the spa, first time ever being in a spa! The entire staff was great but I HAVE GOT TO GIVE SHANTEL PROPS!! She is amazing! She walked us back and answered every question I had! She made me feel so comfortable. I was super nervous (*never been to a spa, I'm 24 in a month*) and she made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed!! Definitely recommend!! AMAZING! CINDY did my massage (deep tissue massage) and she made sure I was happy with pressure and placement. I honestly cant say enough about these 2, they were so personable and comfortable talking to! Thank you guys so much for my first experience, will definitely be back!

Hotel was overall really good! Our experience was with two young kids over a weekend trip. Our positives were: the pools were very nice, facilities clean which is a huge plus, restaraunts and ice cream shop had many selections and were very convievenent. The pool restaraunt even had some gluten friendly options which was a life saver for one of our children with a gluten allergy! Front staff was amazing.

Cons: The pool area when wet does get pretty slippery and I actually saw three kids fall in our time there, one of them being mine. Mine wasn t running, but was walking fast which does make a difference. He is also 2 years old so he doesn t have the best balance. We went on a football weekend and our tv did not work in our room, but they did send someone to come fix it. The next morning the kids were wanting to watch cartoons and again, the tv did not work. They sent someone back out and did get it fixed. It was just a minor inconvenience. Our other con was the room we had wanted to stay in was supposed to have bunk beds, when we arrived , there was a miscommunication and we did not get a room with bunk beds. Again, not a huge deal, just disappointing to our 4 year old.

Overall, we had a great time, friendly staff, and if you don t want too, you really never have to leave the hotel. It is that family friendly! We will more than likely go back when we take our trip next month!

I don t have anything negative to say about the resort itself but the beach access behind it. I ve never been to a beach that was so crowded. Literally pack as many tents and lounge chairs into this tiny piece of real estate. Guys playing volleyball had the ball going into people every point. Loud music and drunk ladies yelling - Not relaxing!

Went to 2019 Christmas Buffet priced at $48.95 per person with an automatic 18% gratuity added to the check. Two people with iced tea to drink $122.34.
What should be expected? They had extremely salty carved ham, overcooked carved roast beef, not one vegetable, overcooked extremely dry pork tenderloin, no gravy for a very basic dressing, choice of three deserts. There were a few other lackluster choices as well. Obviously you can tell we felt totally ripped off and will never attend another holiday buffet put on by the Hilton. Gouging!

The views from this hotel are amazing. Watching the sunrise over the ocean each morning is absolutely breathtaking. Other than the ocean, views of the local golf courses are pristine. The service is very good. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way to help you. The food was decent. The made to order was very good, and not too pricey. The buffet food during the event I attended was okay, but still good by any buffet standard. The pools and hotubs are very nice for unwinding and relaxing in. The building itself is very nice, if a bit confusing to navigate. The workout room is nice. My only problem was with the shower. One morning I didn't have any hot water. It got warm, but not hot. Not too big of a deal, as I am a naturally fast shower-er. It was fixed before my next shower. Another thing to note is that there were very few children while I was there. I saw 3 total in the 5 days I was there. This may be a plus or a minus.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful beaches and pool. The weather was wonderful even for late November and the kids were able to enjoy the ocean. Room set-up is perfect for families with the bunk beds. The fitness center and hot tubs were also a hit.

The only negative was the loud construction noise all day everyday for the entirety of our stay. I couldn't hear the ocean over the roar of sanding. A spray paint smell also wafted into the room occasionally. It continued even on Thanksgiving Day. Definitely took away from the pleasant sounds and smells which should be a perk of staying oceanfront. We used a significant portion of our Hilton points for this stay and the construction noise was certainly not factored into the amount of points required to stay. Will be more careful booking next time.

I added here with my family for the American General Contractors of Tennessee conference. The rooms were great, the pool was great, and the beach was beautiful. Love the large deck overlooking the surf. Only improvement would be some lower priced food options.

Easily the best bang for your buck full service resort in the area. This place has it all - Starbucks, sushi, bar and grill, ice-cream shop, not to mention a trolley that will carry you on the property to Baytown, located on the back bay - all without having to leave the property. Full service means that the parking, valet and bellhop service, internet and other items are included in the resort fee, (don't forget to tip). The rooms are spacious. One of the towers is great for families as they have bunk beds with separate TV for kids. This resort is right on the beach all you have to do is walk out. Don't forget the 2 large outdoor pools with one inside as well and hot-tub. Highly recommend. Will try to book again. All around great experience.

This is my second stay here, and I love it!

This is my second stay here, and I love it!
The property is gorgeous, the service is friendly and personable, the experience unforgettable. This time, I stayed by myself for 8 nights and I had an amazing time. My room was spacious and had a view of the ocean and a huge balcony.
I had a pedicure that was the best I've ever had. (At first I thought 70 dollars was too much, but the result was really top-notch)
The room service was fast and delicious. (Not beautiful, but delicious nonetheless)
I had lunch at the beach bar several times and the service was great, the food was so good, with generous portions, the view of the water was beautiful, and even though the weather was hot, the overhead fans made it super comfortable.
The coffee shop makes great coffee and banana nut muffins I couldn't get enough of.
I had dinner in the sushi bar many times, and it couldn't have been better.
To top it off, I was there for the 4th of July, and the show they arrange for the guests brought tears to my eyes. It was spectacular.
I was originally booked for a ground floor room, with easy access to the beautiful pools, which is great for families with kids, but for me, it didn't suit my desire for a view. I asked for a room change, and the way they handled it was perfect! They immediately changed my room, and while it was being prepared, they sent me gifts of cards and lotions, and a direct phone line to the GM.
I highly recommend this hotel.

This is my 6th year with my daughter all experiences have been great except this last. Apparently, their was a conference with young people who were very disrespectful, loud and drunk it reminded me of a new york street corner 5/8/2018. Put a black eye on the hotel that night

This place is fabulous. A friendly staff greets you and check in is a breeze. The hotel has several options for dining. Room service a pool side restaurant and bar casual dining inside and the only 5 star restaurant on the coast. All are spectacular. We have been there for the past 5 years and have reservations for # 6. Go ahead and be pampered in their world class spa.

Place is outstanding. Location, quality of unit and upkeep, and resort amenities; hard to imagine it any better. Great value. Second time here and this visit reinforces my love for this area and resort. A very minor suggestion, not a critique, a safe to store valuables would be welcomed.

Stayed at the Hilton Sandestin for a work conference. The room and the hotel were really nice and relaxing. The conference center could use some work. I was disappointed the bars closed so early but it's understandable. The billing is what frustrated me but it is what it is. I would recommend this hotel to anyone the view was amazing.

I am giving this hotel 3 starts because it was nice liking and closer to the beach. They charge to much for the hotel. Including wifi and parking. The front desk women gave us a shirty attitude about my service animal. It was an unpleasant stay.
