Camelback spa was a very beautiful experience, quite different from your regular spot where everything is secluded and there aren t a lot of windows.

I felt like attending the spa I got a full dose of and fresh air. The whole area is very much so Zen

Disappointed with my gel manicure... The lady who did my nails curated the nails one at a time multiple multiple bakes and caused it now to chip and change the coloration of the coral pink orange that I had originally picked out

Very pleased from the moment I stepped foot on grounds staff, even passing by would greet you with a brilliant smile. Everyone seemed incredibly friendly and helpful. Seating us and a comfortable table for our larger group paying attention to each of our needs. Food was done and presented wonderfully all very appealing to the eyes as well as the smell and taste. Overall a great experience!

Spent our honeymoon here. It was perfect. 5 star service. 5 star food. 5 star facilities. You could not ask for a more perfect get away. Room service was catered and set up for an intimate dinner. Played 18 holes at the 3 par course. And ended with an amazing couples massage in our suite. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Best resort in Phoenix !! Hands down best place to stay. Summertime rates are when its most affordable for average income people. They cater to your every desire and the saltwater pool and cabana rentals poolside that offer full service attendents adds to the many creature comforts you pay extra to enjoy using at this resort. If you're on a romantic stay-cation visit they offer in room massage packages. It's so relaxing and something every person should pamper themselves with at least once if you're a Phoenix resident
It's a hidden gem and the many on site bar and restaurants offer some of the best dining that even a non resort guest can frequent and dine at these 5 star restaurants.
My top 5 best places to stay/dine

Beautiful place to have drinks and appetizers at sunset. Especially love the homemade potato chips and onion dip. The food in general is just so so and very pricey, but the ambience makes up for any faults. And the service is excellent!

We booked our stay because the resort came highly recommended by the friends with whom we are traveling. As always, we booked through American Express Centurion travel Fine Hotel and Resorts which typically provides excellent customer service. However, at this resort, we waited 5 Hours for our room, the Spa apointment which was booked ahead is messed up, and the room is average at best. Disappointed.

One of my favorite places on earth - the serenity, the panoramic views of the valley, the immaculately maintained property, the infinity pool and all the spa services make Sanctuary my ShangriLa. Highly recommend!

We went for dinner at Elements. It was a perfectly crafted experience by the staff and chefs. Easy valet parking, table ready when planned with a great view, and menu options to cover many interesting options. Speed of service paced well and the prices reasonable if not cheaper than most high end chains of restaurants. Go for the romantic moment!

The food is amazing. The property is beautiful. The service is very hit or miss. The restaurant, pool, and spa staff are fantastic. The bell desk and front desk staff are less helpful. The hotel tries to charge you for everything. For example, to work from one of their business meeting rooms, its $100 a hour. It's nice but I wouldn't choose to stay there again. I would pick a different resort.

Dinner was excellent. Had the daily special dry age beef steak. Presentation was awesome. The wait staff was right on point, and it was an awesome meal over all. Bar service before dinner Was relaxed and efficient. We were able to sample several wines before making a choice of a bottle to have with dinner. Tremendous summer promotions going on right now. You should make plans To have dinner there soon. Congratulations to chef Beau Mac and his staff. Thanks for a great 60th birthday dinner. We will be back.

Visited the spa for massage. The experience was delightfully relaxing from start to finish. Maria, the ladies lounge area attendant was incredibly sweet, attentive and helpful, anticipating every need. Jamie was my massage therapist. She listened to my specific needs and executed above and beyond my expectations, I'd even go so far to say that it was the best massage I've ever received in a spa. I do wish I had received more information about the amenities prior to my visit so I could have taken better advantage during my time there, but I also didn't put work into seeking the info before hand. The experience was given to me as a gift, and the giver even made the reservation. Under ordinary circumstances I would have naturally knew more just from the booking process. Beautiful setting nestled against Camelback Mountain. I do plan on a return visit in the near future to take advantage of the great summer specials.

Went there a couple of days ago. BEAUTIFUL views, EXTREMELY courteous service and DELICIOUS food. Do not be scared from the prices because they serve good generous portions too. In all, you get exceptional service, generously portioned, real chef made food inspired by an iron chef, and beautiful views for a reasonable prices.

Business trips can sometimes be hard work, but the staff and facilities made it a pleasure. A* and would definitely stay again. The room was lovely, tasteful throughout the hotel and well presented. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, the food and drinks available were excellent as was the hospitality provided during the conference.

We met up with our friends from out of town and had a great dinner here! The pork was beyond wonderful and the dessert was tasty. The wine selection was deep and the drinks were very good. Being able to see the base of Camelback Mountain is just the topper on the whole thing. Great place, a little pricy but worth it.

Sunday brunch at Elements at Sanctuary Resort. Lovely view of camelback mountain from the patio. We ordered chicken and waffles, was ok. Limited brunch menu. The service was lacking which I found strange as the restaurant was not busy. 3 star review overall.

Reached out to hotel to book a room on my Wedding night along with Spa treatments the following day. My fiance and I were willing to spend the money on an upgraded room and quite a bit at the Spa as well on the property enjoying our wedding day and part of the following day. All we were looking for some help with was a guaranteed early check-in after our ceremony offsite and late check out the day after to accommodate time at the spa and allow for us to enjoy the resort (spend even more money). Reached out to the resort to see if they could help me get something figured out to accommodate these requests. All we received was a canned response from the reservations desk stating their check in and check out times and that we would have to book a room for an extra night in order to achieve what we wanted. I even sent a follow up email asking if they could speak with someone one the property that would be willing to figure out how we could get something figured out. Another canned response - no effort on their part to accommodate even one of the requests! I've stayed at multiple luxury hotels and this has never been an issue - especially when you are looking to book several things that cost quite a bit. Even the holiday inn express has guaranteed late checkouts for me. Sanctuary at Camelback is not accommodating to special requests nor willing to meet a guest half way ... beware of the poor customer service!

PS If you are in a similar boat, the Four Seasons and the Camelback Inn have stated this is a non-issue for them and can guarantee both requests! I'm certain there are many other resorts in the Phoenix area that will accommodate their guests especially on special occasions.

Sent my wife and her sister to the resort for her 50th birthday- they absolutely loved it!! The accommodations, food and service was spectacular. The staff and the concierge made everything so easy and perfect for them, following up on all the requests and planning I had made for them. I highly recommend the resort, and look forward to a follow up visit at some time with my wife to experience such a top notch resort! Thank you for making her trip so memorable.

This place is amazing and the staff here are all incredible. I wish I could post pics that aren't already posted or say something that have already been said, so all I'll say is that this place is a must.

We can t fault this hotel for they have very accommodating staff and they have complete facilities. We even had hot water bottles! Everything you could think of was available. Fresh fruit and cheese were waiting for us. Our travel agent made the booking so I m not sure what it cost but I'm sure it was not too pricey because I did pay too much. Five-star for this hotel!

The spa is amazing! Exactly what I needed during my stay. One of the best messages I've had in a long time. The room service was delicious! The pancakes I am still thinking of. Yummy! I rated 4 stars because I felt the shower could have been nicer. The grout seemed it needed some touching up. The customer service was great but was promised a room by 4pm and was ready 40mins later than expected. Did not have much time to unpack and freshen up for a work event.
