As a musical artist visiting with my loved ones, the dramatic location, expertly made libations, solid menu and very friendly aquaintances at the club make for a very chill scene. Cheers, Johnny

The hotel has spectacular views, the service is excellent, the restaurant's food is very good. The only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is because it is not easily accessible for people with disabilities (there are many stairs and I could not find a ramp)

Poor service. I went for a massage and the steam room, which happened to be broken. I voiced I wish I knew because it was the main reason for me going. They offered nothing but an apology. This killed the experience for me. Great massage and beautiful location. For the price, why spend the money for unusable facilities and bad service.

We had a lovely girls trip here in February. We had to change our original plans 24 hours before arrival because of blizzard conditions in the high elevations. The team at Sanctuary could not have been more helpful, especially Alix. Beautiful surroundings, top-notch staff, and all the amenities we wanted made Sanctuary the perfect place for our girls getaway!

This truly is a sanctuary. Never have I had such amazing customer service! From the valet service to the staff at Elements Restaurant and Jade Bar. We even ran in to BeauMac! I now know why he is referred to as the Chef with the heart of gold. Thank you for an amazing birthday celebration Sanctuary Camelback Mountain! There is a very good reason why you are a five star, world-renowned resort!

Unfortunately, despite many positive encounters at the sanctuary. I most recently had a terrible experience with the valet. A man by the name of Lotto had decided to aggressively knock on my window upon arriving to pick up a package. He had asked what I needed in a rude manner. I had mentioned I was told to grab a package at the desk. He asked for my name then walked away. I had sat for about 5 minutes before getting out of my car to see if he d found it. I initially planned to walk up anyways to make it easier for the valet line to run smoothly which is why I parked and moved out of their way in the first place. Lotto had been running cars and did not even check on my package. When asking him if he found it, he had faked a phone call to the front and said it had not been there. I then called the front in which they brought it over with no hassle. I had to drive back over and he sarcastically said good to see you again. Another valet had helped put it in the car. I understand it s hot and running around in valet can be quite stressful. But his attitude was extremely unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He acted as if I was an inconvenience when it was a completely simplistic task. Very disappointed to see how they treat guests.

My wife and I stayed here for a staycation. Our room was fantastic with amazing views. The service all weekend was phenomenal! It started at checkin with Sarah walking our room keys over to us as we enjoyed lunch and drinks upom our early arrival. She made sure our weekend was enjoyable and took care of dinner plans as well. We can't wait for our next stay!

I went to the Sanctuary for a dinner with some girlfriends. The restaurant was very nice, service was great and prompt, and the food was amazing! I got the free range jidori chicken and the chicken breast was very tender! My friend and I shared the entree and a side dish and it was more than enough for the two of us! Had I gotten an entree for myself, I would've had leftovers to take home and I did come to the restaurant hungry if that helps to give you an idea of the portion size :)

This is a place that will make you feel like a star! Everyone looks like they belong in Hollywood and you re treated like you re someone special. I didn t stay here overnight, but did attend a meeting at Jade Bar. The service was spectacular (thanks Ken!) and the views only outshined the food by a hair! Nestled up on a mountain, you can see for miles. It was an amazing place to be.

The staff is always friendly and professional. In addition, everything is clean; the drinks, shampoo, and other items are well-stocked. The facials and massages are top-notch, and you certainly can't beat their pool and grounds. They also have a hot tub, steam room, quiet room, and showers, so you can literally stay all day.

Elements restaurant is nestled inside the Sanctuary resort on Camelback mountain in Paradise Valley. It is known for its spectacular city views and hosted by Celebrity Chef and Food Network star Beau MacMillan. Upon arriving, we discovered that our reservations were not for that evening, but the next day. Happily the friendly and efficient hosts were able to seat us outside on the lower patio. Next time we ll make sure to show up on the correct night to enjoy the more panoramic view of the city from inside; however, the view from the patio is also beautiful. Our add-ons to the Restaurant Week $44 prix-fixe menu at Elements were the Shishito Peppers and a half dozen of Island Creek Oysters. The shishio s were nice and hot in temperature. Normally I prefer them with more char, but they were so delicious with the soy caramel, crispy garlic, and sea salt that I barely noticed. The oysters were fresh and delicious with the vinegary mignonette sauce and touch of horseradish. My first selection from the restaurant week menu was the Elemental Corn Chowder with smoked potato, sweet corn, pepper relish, and bacon. The chowder was creamy without being too heavy and the smoked potato and relish added a nice contrast in texture and taste. The only way I could have been happier, was if there had been just a smidge more bacon. For an entree I choose the Grilled Flat Iron Steak with sweet potato rosti, charred napa cabbage, shallot confit, and hijiki peppercorn sauce. I asked for my steak rare with char and it was grilled to perfection. The sweet potato rosti was delicious and the steak paired with the shallot and peppercorn sauce was divine. Finally for dessert I choose the the Passion Fruit Cheesecake. Normally I m not a huge fan of cheesecake, but I had the feeling this one would be special. Passion fruit cheesecake with toasted macadamia nut crust, vanilla bean meringues, and a black and white sesame lavosh. The tartness of the passion fruit was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the cheesecake and the combination of textures was phenomenal! All of the staff at Elements were professional and friendly, the views of the city were spectacular, and the food was visually beautiful and excellent. I can t wait for a return visit to Elements at Sanctuary!

I was in Scottsdale Arizona for a mix of business and pleasure. Sanctuary Resort was recommended to me by a colleague and boy am I happy I trusted their recommendation! My two day stay here was awesome! The food is amazing. Had breakfast in my room. Had a specialty waffle that was really special!! Coffee with extra pot. Oatmeal was amazing --- unique! The view from my room patio was so really cool --- the private patio was relaxing with great views! Windows throughout the room and sitting area was perfect. The quality of the room, space to relax and my massage --- I can't wait to return!

Had breakfast at this resort and the food was well prepared and tasted very fresh and delicious. Despite the variety on menu, I wished they had just a tad more meal selections. The standout feature of the restaurant was the romantic view. This is a place I would consider dining at again not only for breakfast but for lunch and dinner as well.

We had an enjoyable time and our facials were incredible, however I had hoped for more spa amenities per previous experience at other spas. There is a steam room and hot tub inside, hot tub and infinity pool outside... And a quiet room. Plenty of showers and toilets, but not a whole lot more as I'd anticipated. Service was excellent and friendly.

This place was not quite what I expected - the food was good but not great - the service was OK but I had to ask for water and we should've had someone bringing us water on more than one occasion
I had not eaten there in a long time and I was treating three other women and expected this to be a little more special event none of us commented about how great our salads were

Good

I sent my girlfriend here for her birthday weekend. She absolutely loved it! She spent a day at the spa and had an amazing experience. I stayed one night with her and loved the place. It is wonderfully romantic. I would endorse this place completely. The staff is above top notch and so very friendly. We ate at Elements as well, it was a phenomenal meal. You cannot go wrong choosing this as a destination.

I went today and had a spa day with some girlfriends. I had an amazing Spa Fit Facial done by Kristen. She was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend her! Anna, Garret, and the others who were working poolside were all very attentive as well. Thank you to Kristen and all Sanctuary staff for a great day!

High touch point, attentive service that caters to my needs for a room with amazing mountain view from the balcony.
The resort itself is a boutique and tucked away by Camelback. Zen and energetic yoga room that looks out into the valley. Infinity pool gives the the pleasure of floating under the stars. Spa and tennis courts are available but unfortunately not within my reach this trip.
It's a romantic and cozy getaway spot for couples that welcomes families with a big smile and an open arm.
