Gorgeous restaurant, great food and amazing service
Great resort and fantastic staff. Unrivaled service in a great location.
While we were watching the kitchen I noticed there were bugs on the cutting board....yum
Spectacular small resort right next to Camelback mountain. You cannot go wrong here.
Breakfast with a view of Paradise Valley. Great service. Parking is at the entrance, first right. Walk up the path to the restaurant.
The food was amazing such a great places to celebrate my parents 25 wedding anniversary and the welcoming of a new baby to the family.
The most luxurious and modern hotel in arguably all of Phoenix, but most definitely in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale. The hotel is modern and each room had a bath tub in it with a good view. The food is great, the service is pretty good too, and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for an upscale place to stay in the greater Phoenix area.
Great relaxing location. Incredible views and awesome attentive staff.
Beautiful rooms, very relaxing and quite negative edge pool, top notch service from the entire staff. Elements restaurant has great food. Perfect place to get away and relax. We will be back!
A truly great experience! One that ranks in my top 3 best vacations!
Wow is all that I have to say. I was here for my birthday weekend and everything was pristine, clean, and gorgeous. The Jade Bar has delicious boozy drinks and a great happy hour until 6 pm Mon to Fri. The restaurant although expensive was amazing. Go here for luxury. The spa was a delight and my skin looked and felt great.
The Sanctuary lives up to its name. You are one with the mountains sunrise and sunsets! Tucked in a beautiful area, you will feel as if you've escaped during your stay. The grounds are pristine, every staff member is attentive and on top of everything. the bathtubs in the room are amazing, and turn down service is above and beyond. The pool is so wonderful and relaxing. Only wish is that the restaurant has organic, non GMO options to eat at the resort and the beds were too firm for my liking but I would still recommend this resort!
Great bar here... bookmarked to return this summer.
I m coming back every year! Thank god for the no kid pool!
Very nice rooms, well decorated, the pool has a good view of a bit of nature, I definitely recommend the place as it is affordable and I really liked it
The place is cute, hidden in the mountains. Very private
Well as a Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort employee I was eager to see what my room was gonna look like and I gotta say that it was a damn good experience! I enjoyed how spacious the room was and the shower with the little seat for me to sit on it absolutely genius! Definitely gonna stay here again! Keep up the good work y'all
Had an outstanding dinner at elements. Very romantic setting, great views from the side of Camelback mountain. The pork belly appetizer was great. The pork chop was huge and delicious. Great wine list with a good variety of price points.
Good people work there. Especially a guy named Kevin Klienman.
I specifically informed the server of my allergy to paprika asking if the hummus contained it. The bread to dip in the hummus had flecks of red seasoning, which I assumed wasn't paprika, since I made it clear even a little affects me. This was a very expensive lunch 2 weeks ago and I've had a rash on my face ever since, including NOW. I meant to call or email, but haven't had time. Very disappointed.
Did not sleep due to loud AC breaking noise issue:( I wish so bad that my stay would have been amazing but it wasn t:( my husband surprised me with a birthday staycation here last weekend from Friday- Sunday. I ve always wanted to stay at the Sanctuary and have eaten a few times at Elements. My excitement for this place changed as soon as we heard this very loud noise coming from the AC. It was as though the AC was breaking or malfunctioning. The loud noise would go off every 15-20 mins for about 3-5 mins long then would stop. Then it would start again over and OVER AND OVER! After a horrible night sleep, due to the sound happening throughout the night, we let staff know on Saturday what was going on. They were very prompt in responding but sent someone out to change the batteries on the fire alarm which had nothing to do with what was going on. We again reached out letting them know they did not fix the issue and they sent out a crew on Saturday night to try and fix it. They were unable to fix it but offered us a room credit for the issue. Since we were leaving the next morning the room credit was not very useful since we only had a couple hours to use it. Not only did that not solve the issue but again we had to deal with another night of no sleep The sound continued to go off all Saturday night until we left Sunday morning. I am a mom of 3 baby boys and I was not able to truly rest and relax like I thought I would have been. I feel bad for whoever gets that room next! This could have been made better had they switched our rooms instead of giving us a room credit that we did not fully use. I am sad and very disappointed.
This resort is our new favorite for an Arizona staycation. The rooms were fantastic. The pool restricts children on Saturdays which was a major factor in us choosing this resort. The service was also top notch. When looking for a seat at the pool one of the workers found us a spot and rolled up an umbrella for shade, all without asking!
Stopped in for brunch. The food was delicious and the service was quick. The views from inside we're gorgeous. Great experience. Will return.
We only visited the restaurants there, Jade bar and grill and Elements. Best food ever!!! Their salmon was perfect!! A little overpriced, though. Great atmosphere and our server was wonderful. Highly recommended.
My family and I stayed at the sanctuary for one night on our way to Colorado. I have to say, being an avid traveler the service and hospitality at the resort was some of the best I have ever experienced. From our initial check in to a phone call after we checked out with a question regarding the bill, the professionalism and friendliness was over the top. The resort itself is beautiful and the room was spacious and grand with a beautiful view of Camelback mountain. The bellman who took us to and from our room, I believe his name was Brett, was so helpful and accommodating to our every need. He gave us and entire bag of waters to take to our room. When we checked out he walked around the room to make sure we didn't leave any chargers. We are at the bar restaurant which was good, but not over the top great. From what I understand the main restaurant is fabulous. We will absolutely be returning to this resort again to spend more time. Again, I was absolutely blown away by the hospitality and dedication to service by all the staff.
Stayed December 2016, traveled with family
The hotel was nice and clean and rooms were very spacious. The hotel is located on phoenix
Excellent service, beautiful grounds- great place to escape!
Unbeatable view, lovely people, and of course world-class eats. Best pork chop of my life. Desserts pack a decadent punch.
My stay here was very disappointing, starting with the worst valet attendant I've ever dealt with. After that they couldntbhave possibly made up for it, he ruined my entire week!
Great fish and chips and my 8 year old grandson loved his Ruben sandwich, and my 7 year old grandson loved his bacon burger.
The food was amazing. The service was great. Going to a wedding here I would recommend. I didn't pay for it and for what it was I'm assuming it was not cheap.
Incredibly beautiful place. Restaurant is amazing with a exceptionally friendly staff.
Absolutely beautiful setting. Romantic with breathtaking views. Great good and service.
Great place to relax here. Feels like your close to heaven here.
Great resort with all the amenities you'd expect from a top notch place.
Absolutely amazing! Loved the food and our room was gorgeous
I love the place. It is very tasteful and everything was perfect.
This place is mind-blowing with the beautiful casitas.
Such a beautiful spot! We were here for a wedding and the food was delicious, the views were stunning, and the staff were so friendly :)
Cigar dinners are the best! Amazing food from Chef Beau, can't beat the atmosphere all while watching the sunset, sipping on a scotch and smoking a great cigar...
Amazing views. Rooms are private and secluded. Want luxury? This is it. Very close to hiking trails. Great pool and cabanas. Perfect place for privacy and romantic getaway
We ate dinner at Elements. It was delicious. Not a ton of options if you don't eat meat but everything was super tasty. The dessert we had was particularly great, it was a hazelnut panna cotta, highly highly recommend that one. The cocktail we had was also great, we had El Hanzo (I think that's more or less how it was spelled?). Service was awesome and they really make your dinner experience special. Oh and lastly, eat all the bread, it is such good bread, yum!
Amazing all around. Service, food, rooms, views all 5 star.
We had dinner at Elements at the Sanctuary for the first time on Thursday night. It was absolutely amazing! One of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Every menu item sounded delicious, and every item we ordered was as deliciously prepared as we wanted it to be. We will most certainly go back to try the rest of the menu.
The atmosphere was amazing. The staff were friendly and professional. I will be returning.
I had an amazing massage where the masseuse went above and beyond for my needs. The other staff... they could use some help. They didn't seem to want to be there.
One of my favorite spots for great food and drinks. The view while eating or enjoying drinks are awesome as well as the staff. Try the Fiery Mandarin cocktail!
Came for a wedding. Beautiful location with fantastic amenities. Casitas were clean and well designed. Very comfortable. Allowed the bride to keep her dog in the room - they were very accommodating. Bar service was good, although some employees had limited knowledge of the products. I didn't use any spa services but they had an extensive list of offerings. Would recommend to anyone who can afford it.
Nothing but the best here We ate a meal and lounged by the pool. Service was spectacular.
This is paradise! The staff are so fabulous, grounds so beautiful, and food & drink sublime! What a treasure! Amazing place!
We golfed and then had lunch! Great lunch menu and setting on the back porch!
Beautiful location and view. Very happy with the stay.
Saturday Lunch & Learn was amazing. Followed by a weekend getaway with great amenities.
Amazing resort. Staff all try their hardest to make your experience the best it can be. FantFor the price point and the fact that it's a four course meal, the food is just ok. More importantly, the service was decent at best. The next course arrived nearly before we finished the one before. When we finished our last course the check immediately arrived. While we still had drinks to finish the server came by several times to take payment. Needless to say, we felt rushed and not given the time to enjoy our astic views. I recommend reserving a suite further up the mountain. A little further from the lobby, restaurants, pool, and spa but worth it for the views. Rooms are amazingly clean and modern. We live locally in Phoenix and have been to most of the resort spas and this one is near the top. I definitely recommend the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain and will definitely return.
We attended the Nirvana Food and Wine Festival Grand Tasting. It was a great event. Food was great, chefs were attentive and he wine selections were above what I was expecting for a food and wine event in AZ. This was on par with other high end foid events.
Such an amazing property and staff. Suggest this hotel with being in the hospitality business I m the worst cretic and it was amazing!
Beautiful views. Fantastic food. Amazing spa experience. Love going there!
