RELAXATION AT IT'S FINEST:

RELAXATION AT IT'S FINEST:
I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely resort for several days. I thoroughly enjoyed EVERY bit of it! The rooms/view/sunrises/sunsets are out of this world (pictures do NO justice).

To add to that, they are a 5 star resort for a reason & I personally witnessed it myself. I loved the service provided by the bellman (Blake) who took me to my room, brought my bags to me & parked my car on my first night), Edgar and Keith at the front desk and the guy who checked on my tv. To add to that, I must personally thank and praise Linda H. because she is the epitome of stellar customer service (and I rarely say that)! She went above & beyond for me EVERY time I interacted with her & was very attentive to each and every one of my needs.

I will be back and even plan to get married at this resort one day. Yes it's that phenomenal!

Lastly, thank you so much, especially with sanitation and cleanliness with COVID at an all time high!

I've been coming to the sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort for years now several times a year. I've always loved the food and beverages which are typically very unique and uncommon to what is found in the valley. In addition to great food and an amazing atmosphere the staff is also 100% on point.

My mom took me here for a birthday spa day and it was wonderful! The amenities were amazing and I really enjoyed the quiet room for after my services. The staff was great and very relaxing. My mom said she was told I would have a birthday note or something in my room but I didn't, but it didn't take away from my experience. It is very expensive but you absolutely get what you pay for. I'll be back very soon.

I have meaning to write my review on my stay at the Sanctuary Resort in September. The resort itself is nice, but I expected more. Our villa was to be overlooking the mountains- which it somewhat was but there was also construction happening that made it very unpleasant to sit out on our porch and enjoy the view. I would have liked to see the staff maybe not book this room and instead stick to options that are more resort like.
Another thing- not everyone is use to Arizona weather in September, why not add to these luxurious rooms a humidifier to avoid the dryness we experienced.
I didn t enjoy our meals - and the price was very steep! Our breakfast alone for 2 people was over $150 for just basic fruits, coffee, and eggs.
I loved spa and the staff! We did a spa package with some add ons. Beside the spa the resort is nice but make sure you re not getting a room with a view of construction.

Not worth it!!! I have been to many spas in Scottsdale and this was the most disappointing one. My facialist smelt so bad of garlic I could not even enjoy my facial. I took my mother and aunt who are elderly and they had to walk up so many stairs to get to the pool and the hand railings are boiling hot from the sun it was quite dangerous for them. then the credit card we had for the spa on hold was not valid for the pool area for food or drinks so I had to go back to the spa to get my credit card. Thank god my mother and aunt did not go alone as I had to run down the stairs and back up from the spa locker. Oh then I forgot my key so had to do it all again. Other spas are digital lockers so no keys. The service at the pool was lovely but the view of camelback mountain and the infinity pool are ruined by ugly buildings. The set up of the spa is small and not what I expected. Very disappointing.

If you have been to really nice places, then you will want to go here, as it will be a step up from any of those. The staff - are absolutely the best! Every part of your stay is pampered and you are treated like royalty. The food, is just excellent. The rooms are well decorated and fun. The spa is to die for. Would go back in a heart-beat, in fact will consider retiring here.

Not sure how you can call this a 5 star resort. This is a run down old apartment complex they turned into a "resort".

Elements restaurant food is extremely over priced 60 dollars for pasta and tastes terrible.
The room was dirty, and the walls resembled a prison cell. The drinks at the restaurant and pool were disgusting. For a 16-20+ dollar drink you would think they would use quality mixers. No you get bottom shelf horrible liquor and mixers that a college frat house would use because it was the cheapest.

I scheduled with housekeeping to clean my room and replace the towels and they never showed up. When I called to ask if they were coming they said they didn't have any notes stating to clean my room...I asked if they could come clean it and they said they did not know.

The positives were the valet and pool staff were very friendly and hard working! Other than that I wouldn't waste your money here.

I attended a spa day with two friends here. We had planned on doing yoga, having our spa services and then have lunch and drinks by the pool. The pool server escorted us out and said we weren't allowed at the pool. The three of us collectively spent $1600 at the spa and it was insulting to be asked to leave the pool area. We were told we're could use the pool next to the gym, which is a 2 lane lap pool with no food or drink service. I would never go back or reccomend spa services here.

I was so happy at the Sanctuary!!!! This is an amazing place...very friendly, staff very helpful and happy, and the setting spectacular. In the hustle and bustle that is the Scottsdale area during spring training, the Sanctuary is a quiet and lovely haven. I felt like a queen!

My wife and I recently took a "daycation" and stayed at the Sanctuary overnight. I have to give them 5 stars just for the incredibly beautiful surroundings and view. But the on site restaurant Elements was truly magnificent, the food was some of the best I've ever had, the service also was exceptional. Highly recommend.

If you want to go site seeing then this spot is worth a trip. We went during vChristmas and being on the side of a mountain overlooking the downtown area it gave us more sites than any location around there. I highly recommend having dinner here and then watching as the sun set. Probably the most beautiful scenic spot in Arizona.

Sancuary is well known for its Asian inspired dishes. The food and service has gone down from what I remembere in the past..The Salmon dish was cooked well but had way too much soy glaze. My vegtables were swimming in it..I couldn't finish it. Another disappointment was our head waiter. In the past we experienced knowledgeable staff who were confident, knowledgeable in knowing the entrees, wine selections. We felt rushed experiencing our Anniversary dinner.
The atmosphere was another reason we choose Elemements. The view of Camelback mountain is really nice..we were wondering why the waiter kept closing and opening the shades.. You really need to put white table cloths on as well, it would look so much better.

This resort is spectacular. The rooms are beautiful with one of the best hotel bathrooms I've ever seen. The mountain Casita room had a nice view of the mountains. We could also see into other Casitas and they could see into ours. The restaurant and bar on the resort are top notch. The service has been impeccable.

This place is so relaxing. My girlfriend and I came for her birthday and used a Groupon for Swedish massages.

We loved them! Best massages we've had. The service is amazing. The amenities so clean, contemporary and very nice. We took a yoga class, sat by the pool, and used the gym.

I got a facial here. I have had many facials in my lifetime and I would rate it as average. The atmosphere is great, they treat you like the princess you are, but the actual service was average.

Also got a pedicure. Again, fancy treatment, but average pedicure.

The hotel is amazing for they have complete room facilities and the good scents really comfy! They have special rooms, gorgeous bathrooms, great service, good food, and a wonderful pool. We even extended our time here for we loved the room. Highly recommended!

This is by far the nicest resort I have attended. Each person greets you with a friendly smile, and most try and do it by name. Of course the food and cleanliness were very good (as is expected from a high-end location) but the resort experience went much further than that. From the advance email notification to personally touch bases...
