We only stayed 24 hours but it was a lovely 24 hours. Had a King suite near the pool. Very quiet, private. The room had beautiful views. We enjoyed the in room fireplace as it was the week after Thanksgiving and a little cool and damp. I understand the pool was heated but we didn't use it. The room is very nicely planned so two people can spread out a bit between bedroom, sitting area and very large bathroom, patio and outdoor bathtub area.
The restaurant was very good for breakfast. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We had drinks in the bar the night we arrived and watched the weather around Camelback Mountain.

Appearances can be deceiving. This might possibly be one of the most unprofessional and most inconsiderate hotel staff I have ever experienced. after a 7 Hour Dr. from my road trip arriving to the Front desk where I was coldly greeted by an on a tent to and unwelcoming reservation team member. I was literally treated as though I were a person off the street and unable to check in as they were unwilling to accommodate me, after several miscommunications between the reservation Staff. I promised early check-in then upon arrival I was told very rudely told that I would be unable to check in. Not the best introduction to Arizona's "finest"

I went to the bar/nightclub for the first time for Latin Nights and loved the vibe there. The ambiance was really nice. The have fire pits, fireplaces, and heating elements to add to the ambiance of the place and to keep customers warm if the choose outdoor seating.

I was torn between wanting to sit outside because it looked so nice and staying inside to be closer to the band. The band was really good and got people up and dancing. At one point there was a fun cha cha line around the bar.

The food and drink is also great. I ordered some drink called something like La Mediciana (I dont remember the exact name or spelling) and I really enjoyed it. The Korean BBQ quesadillas with sriracha sour cream was really good and very satisfying. Even the side of fries was great. I would expect that all of the food here (and probably the restaurant as well) would be great. Kudos to the chef!

I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back.

Very boutique in all the best sense of the word. Almost feels like someone's home that also has a private villa infestation I guess if you had to pick an infestation, getting one described as having many villas would be ideal? Really private, quite and worth a visit at least. They can also host large group /corporate fubctions . plenty of lush out door space. Feels like a California / Arizonia hybrid in terms of landscaping.

The Pedicure area was clean and tranquil; once I arrived. I parked in the correct lot for the spa. However, the signage was confusing as to which direction I'd need to take in order to GET up to the check-in area. Apparently I chose unwisely, and ended up walking up, over, around and behind bungalows, maintenance, tennis courts and a pool before FINALLY arriving at the reception desk, sweaty and tired. I was told I'd still, 'luckily' be able to get my full time for the pedicure and was hussled out through a courtyard and a gift shop before finally arriving at the pedicure station.

I love this resort! Took my husband for a birthday stay-cation. It was wonderful. I've since sent my parents there. The restaurant Elements and Jade bar are fantastic! We do a summer lunch and learn with them that is a foodie paradise!

My visit was awesome. Thank you Steve for the moment of serenity, it was long over due. Maria thanks for all your assistance with showing me around the spa room, and Sherri at the bar thank you for welcoming me and making fell as if I were a guest stating at the resort, even though I was only the for the day to enjoy the spa. Everyone I came encounter with were fabulous. Oh almost forgot even the yoga class instructor, for my first yoga class ever, I never once felt intimidated.

They are not friendly people. They had an infinity event going on and that is all they were concerned about! They were completely rude with my food couriers as well. I really don t recommend this resort to anyone.

People need to know that if you have a friend or family member or you yourself have difficulty walking there is no way for you to get into the dining area. !!! BASICALLY, IF YOU CANT DO STAIIRS, OR ARE IN A WHEELCHAIR AT ALL....YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK... MY MOTHER CAME TO VISIT AND SPEND $700 A NIGHT SWEET OVERLOOKING THE ENTIRE VALLEY YES VERY BEAUTIFUL HOWEVER DIFFICULTY WALKING THEY BROUGHT HER TO THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING AT 11 O'CLOCK AT NIGHT BRING HER INTO THE RESTAURANT TO GET SOMETHING TO EAT FOR LATER I HOPE THEY FORGOT TO GET HER LEFT TO STAND OUTSIDE FOR 20 MINUTES IT WAS FREEZING COLD NOT MUCH OF AN APOLOGY!
IF YOU WANT ANYTHING TO EAT AFTER THE BAR CLOSES YOU CAN GET THINGS ON A ROOM SERVICE MENU HOWEVER ZERO DESSERTS ARE AVAILABLE AFTER THE PASTRY CHEF LEAVES ! (AT ABOUT 8 PM) Nowhere AT ALL ANYWHERE IN THE RESORT PERIOD THERE IS NO LITTLE STORE NEARBY YOU WILL HAVE TO DRIVE THERE SO IF YOU ARE OUT OF TOWN YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK! YOU ARE AT THE MERCY OF THEIR IN ROOM REFRIGERATED BAR ( IF YOU GET ONE) HONESTLY I CAN SAY THAT THE HOUSEKEEPING DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB IN KEEPING THEIR ROOMS CLEAN. THEY ARE VERY VERY BASIC. VERY MINIMAL THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY IN THE RESTAURANT NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT AND THE HOUSEKEEPING CREW ARE KIND AND THEY'RE VERY GOOD AT THEIR JOB. I'm just saying if you want to have a nice room with beautiful yes it's a beautiful view but you your shopping first don't do what my mom and sister did which was get a $700 a night room with a great View but no handicap accessibility or even difficulty walking accessibility anywhere on the property also if you want real glasses for your room you can't have them, only plastic and you only get one tiny firelight for your fireplace, no matches, and Boone to call and bring you any!!!
So 0LEASE, honestly do your homework!! there are incredible VIEWS all OVER that area!!! don't get suckered!! go for a meal at the restaurant , YES..because the food is excellent, creative & fresh. The ambiance is wonderful and the restaurant manager as well as the servers, what professional friendly and absolutely knew their job! But PLEASE.... $700 a NIGHT FOR A " SUITE there? I don't think I've ever given a bad review for ANY Resort.! I cannot be more angry and disappointed.

Yess

I've never experienced such incredible hospitality before. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the bell men staff were exceptional. My group and I had some pretty high demands due to the fact that we were putting on an event at the resort yet every single request was met with total optimism and positivity. Great job guys. I would highly recommend the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort!

This was truly one of the best resorts I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The staff was incredibly kind and professional. They have an amazing attention to detail. The views are spectacular, you must have dinner on the porch of Elements. The spa was wonderful and extremely expensive, if you have the means it is worth it. The room my wife and I stayed in had a breath taking view. The room service was efficient and delicious, my only slight complaint was by the time the burger got to us the French fries had gotten a bit soft and cool. The food at Elements and Jade bar were second to none, we ate at these two restaurants almost exclusively for a week and never had a bad meal. The drinks were always cold and hit the spot. During the heat of the day the infinity pool area can get a bit too crowded for my taste, the pool is just a little undersized, I d love to see an expansion. We definitely plan on coming back. Great experience staying here.

We went to this place for dinner last night. It was very contemporary with great service and views. We had a booth so we were up high looking down at everything and everyone. One of the highlights of the night was the service we received from Lori. I'll definitely be back!

The ambience and views of this place are amazing what ruined it for me is the staff in the restaurant where as snobby and unfriendly as you can possibly imagine. The waiter was average at best and kept bumping me then ended up spilling a chocolate filled spoon on my $200 shirt. The only people that actually treated you with respect was the valet service. The food was decent but small portions and with a huge price tag left me wondering what I was paying for? The short ribs had a bit of fat on them as well which made it all the worse to pay the extra price. I will give it 5 stars for cleanliness which was awesome. The customer service and friendly attitude would make a world of difference. I felt like I was bothering them just being there and I'm sure that is not what they are going for

My wife and I spent a 4 days vacation there and we'll be back. We staying in a Mountain Casita King. There are only 4 on property but perfectly placed on the resort. It feels like you're away from the bulk of resort and you have some privacy. The outdoor shower was fastic. Food was good, service was great and I love the abililty to get all needs meet through the text message service. Super convienient.

An upmarket boutique hotel offering thoughtful quality from the front desk to the Elements restaurant to the tastefully decorated rooms. Fine details (Molton Brown, Nespresso) enhance the sense of wellbeing.

This is a beautiful resort with absolutely wonderful service. The spa treatments are 5 star. We took advantage of the fitness classes and really enjoyed them. The pool service was first class. I enjoyed every minute there.

My wife and I spent a weekend at the Sanctuary and it was a fantastic experience. Everything about the resort creates a tranquil and happy vibe. Joe at the pool was awesome at making sure things were good for us. Evan the bell hop was an incredibly nice and helpful guy, and Matt at the front desk helped when we were reviewing our charge and needed explanation. It is a perfect place to visit to get away from the stress of your daily life, with its immense beauty, helpful staff, and high quality restaurant and spa services. We will be back, no question!

Add my brother's wedding here so flew in with a bunch of friends it was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to.. from the help and service to the scenery I give it 5 Stars over and over again

Booking room was a hassle and call was in and out.
Someone walked in to our room while we naked and getting ready.
Never received confirmation of my stay.
Bath tub had dead bugs in it.
Window was broken and we couldn t shut it and construction was going on so it was loud.
Curtain rod was broken and couldn t pull curtain closed. We couldn t access pool or get drinks at the pool during our stay and we had to go inside the bar to order.
Fridge was not working.
Over all pretty resort , but not worth it.

For the amount of money they have spent on renovations, it still smells like a 94-year-old s house.

The spa is definitely not remodeled (jacuzzi from the 60 s), mediocre at best service and definitely not up to par to other resorts that you spend this kind of money staying at. It was all just okay ... nothing that was memorable or over the top and the reason for my three stars.

Elements Restaurant is the best part of this property.

Good food, and a very good staff in terms of service. However, we had a live band playing in a small space - the volume was way too loud. It became a real tune off, since I couldn't speak with my colleagues.

This place is absurdly posh. I've never felt so relaxed. The amenities are first rate, the grounds are beautiful, and the food is quite possibly the best I've ever had at a resort. Every meal we've had there has been flat out delicious. Expect to spend a bit to get this sort of service and amenities, but it's worth it!

Beautiful resort with the most accommodating staff I've ever had. It was so gorgeous I had to make it the place I proposed to my fiance. SHE SAID YES!!! If you're in Scottsdale, make it a point to visit the sanctuary.
