Amazing salad, and the sweet potato fries were yam-tastic (if you laughed at that kill yourself). Burger was a little bland but great service and good atmosphere made it a good dinner spot.

Great restro/bar. Great food selection. Trendy crowd. Friendly service. Buck (ish) a shuck oysters. Great rum drinks. Great view of the lake.

Food decent, front entry staff are like herding cats, not organized at all. They are trying.
Simple take out order was an ordeal.

We were big Salty 's fans. Food is always good. The place has gotten way to busy and noisy. Had to wait almost an hour for a group of six even after calling 20min before to get our name on list. Once Inside, horrible table we couldn't even hear the waitress giving the drink specials. Will not be back until off season.

The rumours are true! Salty's is delicious! They also make a good ceaser and serve local beer. But the waitresses must be trained to talk to you a lot because it happens each time and can get kinda awkward..... But worth it!

Food is really good here, as is the staff and location. Their house beer is also fantastic. Never have any complaints, and are sure to visit every time we're in Penticton

Mine and my girlfriends experience was not good my girlfriend ordered their featured soup and when she got it it was cold so it got sent back and because she was facing the kitchen she was able to see where the cook was and they put her soup in the microwave don t think we ll be coming back here

Food and service was nice. Did not overall enjoy the experience. Loud, food was fine but I think did not live up to the hype. First time we tried to make reservations were told they could not accommodate a Walker. A oiled gor a year. Agsin although not in a Walker it is not handicap friendly. Nice person was the lady who took are parties name on arrival.

A must see if you are in Penticton. The view from the patio is amazing. The food and service is really good as well. Make sure you book early though, especially in the summer!

The service was the worst I have ever seen. Our waiter disappeared for about 30 minutes. When we found him he was sitting at a staff table eating. We couldn't believe it! All of his tables were waiting and he could have cared less. Told a dish was not spicy and it turned out to be very spicy. The menu is very limited and most items were over priced. Not a good experience at all. This place won't get another dime of our money. Horrible.

Salty's is always fantastic. Highly recommend the Spanish (tequila) Caesar and all the menu items that I have tried are delicious. Make reservations or be prepared to wait a bit but it is worth it!

One of my favourite places to dine! I have been here several times, and have never been disappointed. Amazing food, great service as always, and an abundance of great selections on the menu. Prices are a tad bit high, but reasonable and so worth it! Would definitely recommend, and I will continue to dine here in the future with friends and family.

It's a shame what has happened to Salty's. It used to be a relaxing place to get good inexpensive food and have a nice view of the beach. Unfortunately it's turned "trendy" with the price tag to follow. On top, I've never heard of anywhere segregate their happy hour to 'Inside only'. If the original owner could see it now, he'd be as equally disappointed.

Awesome view right on the side of the Okanagan Lake! So awesome on the rooftop patio as well!
My recommendation is the Baja Fish Tacos and the yam fries.
Grab a beer as well if you can. I vote for the Central City wheat ale if it's in season

Salty's will always have a pecial place in my heart, the view from the balcony while sipping a drink and eating a wide selection of food always brings me back! Although most people think of Salty's is a seafood restaurant it actually has something for everyone, including an improved vegetarian and gluten-free section. They have an amazing drink menu with numerous unique cocktails, local wine and beer, and all the classics. The staff is normally well educated on what is in each drink or food, and if they're unsure they don't mind asking the experts, very smoothly ran and a great place to go alone, on a date, or with family! The only reason it only gets 4 is because every once in a while (a little too often) there will be a mistake, it could be as small as them forgetting to take off something like celantro, or bringing you a wrong item, but the staff is always happy to correct the mistake.

If you go you must have the butter chicken the best I ever had. great survice.

Very poor service. We had a group of 11 and they couldn't had made more mistakes if they tried. Luckily they realised how badly they did and had to comp our entire table. Big loss for them.

Holiday Monday in August,we were seated mid day promptly on the top patio with a great view with the best service from April! The appies we had were very tasty and fresh. That's why we keep coming back. Thanks Salty's

Fisherman s Pot is amazing! Lots of curry, be forewarned. My wife had the salmon, incredible food. Service was top shelf, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable of offerings. Great ambiance, parking was easy at 5PM on a weekday. We re going back to try the other stuff on the menu!

Great location....make sure you sit in Rachel's section. Super service from her. Calamari was delish...a bit disappointed with the fish and chips. But crab cakes looked good as did the Korean Pulled Pork Sandwich. I would go back.

We have been there many times and this time our favorite brunch item, the eggs beny were not quite as good this time. Service was great as usual.

went at 9pm and told them we would sit anywhere so they placed inside downstairs at a tiny table. There were maybe 5 other tables inside and the rest were empty. We looked over the menu and time passed. A waittress came to the table next to us to collect their payment but didnt acknowledge us. More time passed and still no one came by and we had our whole order ready. We left and got Boston Pizza. They have lots of young people working their who obviously dont understand that im paying you money, and potentially a tip, and expect to be acknowledged within the first 10 minutes especially later in the evening on a tuesday.

The burger was indeed salty. Serving staff was fine, pleasant and helpful, but ordinary. Decor is quite, um, interesting. Views are nice. They're modelling themselves on the 'beauriful people' business philosophy. Prices are somewhat high for what you get but I suppose that has to do with the location. Overall, I wouldn't tell a friend to go out of their way to go here, but I wouldn't tell them to avoid it at all costs, either.

We had the worst dining experience. We were freezing inside and they refused to accommodate by moving us. Took 15 for a waitress to come. The margaritas were not made right. We ordered 3 vegan dishes and they were all bland and horrible with missing ingredients listed on the menu. This was super disappointing as Vegans love to support businesses with this option. The prices were steep and service lacked skill and compassion. Will never step foot in that place again.

Probably the best beach spot to grab dinner in Penticton! It s a combo of Earls meets sports bar, but I d say a touch heavier on the bar side. Service was good, big selection, good drink specials. I had the Ahi salad which was fairly refreshing! You can t beat the views of the beach, that s what you ll come for!

Good food. Be careful if you have any kind of allergy though.

A top notch restaurant on the beachfront. The menu is varied so it will likely have something for everyone. Fish, beef, salads, and a kids menus. The deserts are good too.
The atmosphere is fantastic I would call it friendly and casual surf side . Dress is casual, very casual, the kids will enjoy it as well.
Prices are OK.

We enjoyed our meal at Saltys. Lots of room for our large family. Good service.

my goodness...what can I say, my family and I came up penticton for a week and was advised of this place. We went for brunch and had the most amazing food, so we decided to order dinner from them as well. Unfortunately there was a mix up and we had to call for assistance and we were assisted by the best general manager (Celine) that I have ever come across. Celine replaced our whole meal and also included kids meals and even delivered it to my family and I. I feel absolutely humbled by her incredible professionalism and kind personality. Anytime we visit penticton we will make sure to go out of our way to come say hi to Celine and to have an amazing family meal again.

Our seafood was delicious - our view was incredible. Our waitress was fantastic and knowledgeable about our drinks and food choices. I have made this a regular stop for years when I visit your town - this time I brought someone who had not been there before. We will return for sure.

A beautiful lakefront restaurant known for being one of high quality in Penticton. Menu is fitting with the name of the restaurant with many nice sea-food options. Lots of options for gluten free diners as well as healthy salads etc. Service is very good. Drink menu is great as well and very generous daily drink specials. Highly recommended if visiting Penticton.

Came for a family dinner and the atmosphere is wonderful with great views of the lake and a fantastic vibe. Server was spectacular, very friendly and provided great service. Drinks were outstanding with fresh basil in the Gin Smash and Rosemary in the Sangria, great draft beer selection as well. The Ahi-Avocado , Chicken Strips and Fish and Chips were very good but the Lime Chicken Wings were disappointing. Great experience, we would definitely return.

The calamari was good, but could ve done with more salt and pepper. The mains were great, very tasty.

We did have a minor issue with one of the staff members though, we had asked one of the servers for a spoon for the fisherman s pot dish, she went to grab it, but came back with nothing. After 10 minutes, we had to ask another server for the spoon. The new server then told us they didn t have any clean dinner spoons, but gave us a dessert one, which was fine. However, the first server never even came to us to apologize or to say she just forgot about it. When we called her and told her we no longer needed the spoon since her coworker had brought us one, she just said okay . She looked very young, so that might be the reason why this happened, but if you are working with the public, you gotta have customer service skills.

Anyway, we loved the food and most of the staff seems to be very friendly and helpful. On Mondays, they have $5 margaritas, which was also nice. The spoon incident did spoil a bit of our experience though, and instead of staying there for a few drinks after dinner, we decided to leave. Hope the young employees get better training!

Salty s does a Brunch Happy Hour between 11am-noon (yay, savings!) and their Seaside Benny is very good: highlight is the poached egg sits on their famous crab cakes instead of an English muffin. Sundays are for caesars and you betcha they got them for $5 all day!
We were a party of 3 and sat indoors on the upper level. Amazing server (gosh I forgot your name but tall curly-haired male, patterned shirt, you gave us directions to a local coffee shop) and you were very pleasant; thank you for taking care of us.

Socially distanced tables, employees were masked and they have sani stations throughout. Great little spot, can t wait to come back and try something off their regular menu!
