I had awful experience with room service. My bedsheets had stains and bathroom towels had human hair. When i approached to Sarah the manager on duty she didn't seem to care too much about my concern. I thaught she would be more concerned about the situation bc it's covid time. I highly don't recommend this hotel to anyone

Stayed here recently on a trip to the area with my wife. We open spent one night and used points to pay for the stay. It was noteworthy that using points they waived the resort fee which was pretty cool, however we are also platinum Marriott members, so not sure if that played in.

Since we were in town for a special occasion we used an upgrade certificate for a one bedroom corner suite. The room was awesome, huge, and really comfortable bed. The view was of the city with only a little view of the lake, but not bad. The bathroom was huge and the the living room was also nice.

Being platinum we also took advantage of breakfast and light dessert in the lounge. It was actually really nice, especially by normal North American Marriott standard.

One of the coolest parts of this place is they rent kayaks, bikes and a few other things free to guests. Given the kayaks are only allowed in The little lagoon and not the lake, but still fun. obviously you can take the bikes anywhere in the city.

Parking was a little pricey, and looking around may have been able to find cheap if not free weekend street parking, but it was convenient.

Would very much consider returning to this property next time we are in Kelowna.

An an Elite Member I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. Poor parking instructions. Looked for a spot in the parade for over 10 minutes ended up having to take a reserved stall. Unpacked our 4 luggage two kids late at night... everyone tired... No elevator in parkade, closed. Level 5...had to walk all the way down with a toddler and 8 year old. Plus the $24 parking charge was a cherry on top when there was no stalls. Yayy!

The room smelt of mold or was musky. There were not enough sheets for the sofabed. Just a couple thin sheets.

The room was blah to be generous. Not worth the $500 we paid for it. The shower was weak, no pressure, poor showerhead.

Marriott this was one of the worst valued stay we've ever had with you. Either adjust to being a $200/room hotel or step up the game.

Check-in rep was friendly and pleasant.

Not thrilled with the lunch buffet. Not much to chose from and the chicken dish sat empty for a good 15 min. Pop machine wasn't working either. Seems to me they just need to get a handle on how much food to make

This hotel is very clean but I don't think it's worth what we paid for it. It's just a room with a king-size bed. We paid almost $400 a night for this. The only real downfall besides the price is the fact that you cannot go from one part of the hotel to the other without having a key. Your key for your room does not open the other Tower so it makes it difficult if you're in a large group or party and you want to go visit them in their room. You can't without them coming to let you into the tower entrance.

They had no parking at the hotel and offered to valet our car for free for the weekend. At checkout they claimed we owed $88 for parking.... seems like they were trying to scam young college kids. Okay hotel but should have told us about the charge they advertised as free. Watch yourself while staying here. Also, since we were a group of college kids they put security on every floor. We felt unwelcome the whole time.

Overall good hotel close to downtown and the water. Very nice. Bed was soft and comfortable but the pillow was slightly musty (think mushrooms). I had to sleep with a sweater on it. We would stay again but would bring our own pillows next time.

A property with tons of potential. The facilities need to be updated. Rooms are at 3 star level. The main dining / bar area offers nice setting by the water. The value is not more than 300 dollar per night

Lovely Hotel. Convenient location, walking distance to anything you need, comfy beds, clean clean clean rooms. I also really liked that they had a foosball game in the common areas, fun little competition before bed.

This hotel will steal from you! We stayed here december 24-26th. Our total hotel bill was $1653. Within a couple days after checkout they had charged us exactly double that amount, $3306. I called to get my money back and they were rude and acted like I was completey insane for being upset. They straight up told me this is how they do business so I just have to deal with it. Now 3 weeks later, they just charged my card again for $1000. I phoned and they said it wasnt them and it was an error from my bank. We called the bank and that simply is not true. For a high end hotel, where we booked one of the most expensive rooms, I did not expect such a scam operation. If you stay here be prepeared to pay for your room twice and get what they call "ghost" charges for any length of time after checkout.

Our room was a bit 'tired' but was completely adequate with a big tv and a rarity these days, a tub!

Room service options were odd in that you could only get sandwiches etc between 11 pm and 6 pm. We ordered several different snacks from the daytime menu and they were not great. Most of the food at the banquets we attended weren't the usually excellent fare we can usually expect at our work functions. This facility calls itself pet friendly but have a bizarre weight restriction of 20 pounds. Bell men were in short supply at our check out, even though there were no other check out needing vehicles. It is a perfectly fine property and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it if these issues weren't important to the guest.

Didn't spend much time in the hotel itself, but did a group day trip to the Gateway 21 Casino inside the Delta. Didn't have much luck on the machines, but they were all very well maintained, clean, and regularly updated. The serving and pit staff were all welcoming and high spirited. The pitboss was even having a good laugh with what seemed to be a few of the regular poker players. The dealers at the tables were very engaging and professional, but friendly and relaxed. Lots of options when it comes to table games, including several variations of Blackjack. Electronic and table-top roulette tables, and even a full service bar near the cashiers windows with TVs tuned into the days sports channel. If the rest of the hotel is treated the same way as the housed casino, I would highly reccomend further investigation if you are intending to stay near the downtown core.

My partner and I went to the Grand Hotel in Kelowna for New Years. We were really looking forward to bringing in the New Year at The Grand Hotel with our friends who were with us. Unfortunately our experience was not very nice. When we arrived we went to our room and the stench in the room was overpowering. It smelled of stale smoke and cheap perfume. It literally smelled like someone had spilled a bottle of cologne on the floor. We opened all the windows to air it out but it did not help. We both have allergies to strong scents and animals so this was unacceptable. We phoned down to the front desk and asked if they could move us and they said that the only room they could give us would be on a floor that accommodate guests with pets. That would not have worked for us so we decided to leave all the windows open while we went out for dinner and to celebrate our New Years, hoping that by the time we got back the room would be fresh. When we arrived back several hours later the room still smelled awful although it was a little bit better but it was freezing cold. We knew we would have to sleep with the window open so we called down to the front desk again and informed them and asked if them if they could please bring us up an extra blanket. An hour and a half later no one came so my partner went down to the front desk and asked again. They said they would come up with a blanket. When the man finally came up he brought an extra set of sheets, not a blanket, as we requested because it was cold... and he was dismissive and argumentative, stating that, he could not smell anything.
This was probably the most disappointing and worst hotel experience we have ever had. We travel quite often and spend a lot of money on hotels, this was very upsetting. No one contacted us to try and rectify the situation at all or compensate us for our miserable stay here. It was not a Happy New Year here for us at all.
