Enjoyed a private tasting experience. We did 11 tastings at different wineries over 3 days and Mission Hill was the best experience. It started with a small tour of the entry way, a short film on the history and then the tasting. It is a beautiful winery. The woman who led the tasting was very knowledgeable and said she d worked there for 20 years. They made us feel so welcome and we decided to join their wine club! Looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful winery with amazing architecture and a stellar view.
Have done a wine tour and went into the wine cellars, definitely interesting to learn about.
Tried a 'Healthy Cooking' Culinary Workshop. Watched the chefs make the meals, and was served each course with a paired wine. Great experience!

Such an unreal experience! We had the private estate lunch tour and it was phenomenal. Ewan was our guide and he was incredible. The tour was super fun and the lunch was so good. The meal and the wine is excellent. I highly recommend checking this winery out and booking a meal or tour experience.

Beautiful winery in the Okanagan. Take the time to have a tour and really learn the history of this amazing vineyard and company. Try to come when vines are sprouting (about May long weekend.) Enjoy the tasting room and all the offerings available.

A wonderful winery. Gorgeous grounds and the wine is always great. Tastings are more expensive than others, but not a deal breaker as you get that back when you buy wine. Lots of gifts to grab. We will be back hopefully next time with less smoke!

What a beautiful winery this is! I'm very impressed with the time they took to create this place. There are little artistic touches all over the property that make it a special place to visit. The views are also pretty phenomenal. It's worth doing a tour and learning the history of its creation.

Re: Wine: I did quite like their reds but not a fan of any of the whites I tried (sorry).

We ate at the restaurant and although there was a debate over the chicken (we are pretty convinced it was pork) it was still delicious and every morsel was eaten. Service was great and very professional. I would definitely recommend making a visit here if you are in area.

Such a place of history as the mission family started this vineyard years ago. Read about it on site and take a tour of the grounds before even entering the winery and you ll be impressed with the views and architecture on display. The individuals inside are friendly and willing to help you with any of your purchases or questions. Also a great place for unique gift ideas, as I was browsing through the store, I came across a book titled, 50 places to ski before you die. Never thought I would see this book in a winery gift shop. So it s not just full of charcuterie boards and cork screws. Definitely check it out!

Tasting review: New strategy vs our last time in Valley 4 years ago. Rather than the $18 plonk previously offered, they now sample mid and a bit higher range. Greatly improved quality! Good strategy to sample and buy some better wines. Like many wineries (but not Qgate), price in store is higher than BCLCB.

Extremely disappointed in their customer service. They are now charging $15 for a kid to come along. They get a cider to join the "experience" with you and a souvenir at the gift shop. We called and one employee said if there is an area in the comments online to just enter it and if not gave us the number for the receptionist. We just called and they are forcing you to pay $15 even if your kid won't drink the cider (ours is very picky water only) and we don't care about the souvenir. Only place I have ever heard of doing this.

Absolutely remarkable. Bram - our guide - was funny, friendly, and informative and didn't hesitate to answer all our questions.

The scenery, which really goes without saying, is unbelievable. Definitely recommend this place during your next trip the Kelowna!

Never again. Stuck up attitude from the staff. Not interested in one on one interaction with individual customers. They seem to be happy to have "the cattle - like" crowds that don't bother them too much. Buy the (not so great) wine and move along. Never again!

No Okanagan wine tour is complete with a visit to Mission Hill. You can see the Mission Hill tower from across the lake in Kelowna, or from many vantage points in West Kelowna. The grounds include a number of sculptures amidst the vines. In the summer you can dine at their open air restaurant (get reservations!) or take in a concert. If the Wine Education Centre is open, take a look at Animal Tales, by Marc Chagall, one of 29 tapestries ever made by the Russian artist. Their wine has a variety of price points. My favourites are their reserve Chardonnay and Cab Sav, and if you really want to buy something special Compendium or Oculus (or Checkmate!).

Mission Hill Winery is by far one of the most elegant and refined wineries that the Okanagan has to offer. Many others will try to mimic the soul that Mission Hill embodies, but none will achieve the spirit. From the subtle elegance of the tasting and wine shop to the breathtaking view off the courtyard, Mission Hill astonishes. The attention to detail from the manicured hedges, dust free walkways, and properly uniformed employees is what sets Mission Hill apart from others.

Mission Hill were absolute pros. Super organized, friendly faces, and a very comfortable room made our tasting top notch. The architecture and grounds were inviting, and they definitely tried to make things as safe as possible during this time. Our tasting adviser was also very friendly and knowledgeable, and cared about our tastes and preferences. We walked away with a great bottle of Organic 2017 Merlot at her suggestion.

The shop was super cute, and it was my husbands favourite stop of our trip.

The only reason I wouldn't give Mission Hill 5 stars is how slow our lunch service was. The food and views were great, and the staff so friendly but it took them about 2 hours to serve two courses with an order of fries to us. We were late to our next tasting!

A lot of the reviews show Mission Hill to be pretentious, however don't mistake that for pride. This is a beautiful place with a very well respected Canadian winery that has great wine. You'll fine pretentious people in any fine dining or high quality restaurant or winery anywhere. We've been many times and have had nothing but the best experience without feeling like we were not welcome. Give props where props are due. I highly recommend a discovery tour.

If you are in Kelowna and want to check out wineries, you MUST go to Mission Hill. It is the most beautiful winery in Kelowna by far. The views are stunning and the wine is delicious. Only recommendation, during covid, is to make sure you reserve your wine tasting in advance! The restaurant is also a great spot for lunch and nice views!!

By far the best wine tasting experience we had in Kelowna. Our guide Bri was knowledgeable and very passionate about the wines and her presentation skills were phenomenal. Her personality was warm and inviting from the moment we arrived, and we left with a few new favorites. The grounds themselves are amazing, with breathtaking views. We visited the winery on a beautifully mild winter day which was less busy than summer allowing us to enjoy the property almost privately. We'll definitely be returning in the summertime for the full experience and your of the grounds.

This was one of our best days out whilst visiting Canada, we did a taste of the vineyard tour and the guide was very informative and knowledgeable, we were all amazed at the difference in flavours after having something to eat that complemented the wine.
Would highly recommend as long as you are over 21.

Great couple of hours spent here. The tour itself was short but informative. Our guide lady was very nice and knowledgeable. The staff at the front was very friendly as well even after we bothered them for a ton of pictures. The tour was very reasonably priced.

The winery itself is spectacular. Every inch of the winery is very well maintained and picturesque. Oh and the wines obviously were great.

Beautiful views and stunning architecture!! The landscaping and premises are very well maintained. As soon as you drive through the gates, you feel like you are in some sort of movie. The wine tasting experience is a must! We spent $15 to taste four different types of wines and got our money rebated for buying 2 bottles of wine. This is also a great place to pick up some gifts. They have very nice wine accessories and an assortment of aged cheeses, jams and spreads. The staff was knowledgeable and walked us through the different flavours of wine as well as providing personalized recommendations based on our taste. Highly recommended, especially if you have limited time to explore Kelowna.

After signing up for the Mission Hill Legacy membership in August and having no confirmation or other communication since, we visited to check on our status. Our guide immediately provided contact info for the membership department and sent the retail manager to find her. There was an error in entering data for the membership and although my contact information was correct, no one followed up to complete billing information that would have activated our membership. No apology but we resolved the issue during our visit and picked up our quarterly installment of wine.
Thanks, Bev!!!

Beautiful Setting, but terrible attitude. Poor wines. We just bought their 2014 Reserve Chardonay, and after one sip, poured it down the sink, undrinkable. don't waste your time here, go to smaller FRIENDLY Wineries in the immediate area

Reserved the Lasting Legacy tour. It was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anybody. It took about three hours in total, including a four course dinner with wine pairings - well worth the cost. Our sommelier and guide Deanna was great, making sure to take time so that we did not feel rushed throughout the tour and meal. Our server (I think her name was Hailey) was also great. I would recommend booking an experience at Mission Hill for anybody who will be in the area. I will definitely be returning to the winery in the future.

The dinner music fit the setting perfectly and provided a subtle ambience. Our server, Ian, was very knowledgeable and a great personality for our friends who had kids. I had the wagyu beef carpaccio, shrimp linguine and pear tart for desert. Loved every course as well as the halibut I tasted from another dish. Would recommend the Terrace for anyone wanting a first class dining experience and a view that is second to none.

This place is worth checking out even if you don't know anything about wine. The facility is grand - grandiose! - but the taste employed in the design is superb. The buildings really compliment the site: architect Tom Kundig knew what he was doing. We had a great time tasting wines, and they had to get out some artillery because we had a European wine connoisseur with us. They lived up to the promise in every way. I will return here again!

Beautiful Winery no doubt. Was SUPER disappointed ...

Beautiful Winery no doubt. Was SUPER disappointed with the treatment to just get a glass of wine and bite to eat on the patio. The Waitress/hostess Liana was super rude when she looked at our appearance with the sudden judgement and didn't want any part of us coming in to enjoy the view. ALSO it was mid day and there was barely anyone on the patio. (we are two 22 year old girls who live in Vancouver who came up for a wine tour weekend and to spoil ourselves) We were wine touring around the area and exploring and wanted to enjoy the view from up top for a late lunch and she looked at us as if we weren't going to pay? It felt as if we weren't worthy of their service. Felt really awkward and stupid for trying? She ignored our request and moved on and just helped the next couple in line who looked wealthy and "willing to pay" and let them right through with the same request. Was defiantly a downer for the day since we work really hard and wanted to splurge that weekend, being one of the places we wanted to enjoy and indulge, and it was a slap in the face. Will only tell people to go to see the sights but don't bother eating or wine tasting service is uptight and rude.

Did the culinary experience event (Bacon Nation). A very well done venue with nice views of the chefs activities that helps you understand how to cook an awesome meal. The 5 course meal an wine paring were just about perfect. Well worth it.

Words cannot describe how fantastic my wine tour experience was with Holly of Mission Hills Winery. She really displayed how extremely knowledgeable she is about wine and how mission hills operates. Holly is extremely passionate about wine and displayed a positive attitude during the wine tour which really amplifies the entire experience. To the entire mission hills organization. Holly is a valuable member of your team and I m glad she represents the organization really well. I wish her luck in her future with this winery and I look forward to seeing her move up and succeed with Mission Hills.

Beautiful location and amazing buildings. The extravagance is incredible and the staff were warm and friendly. For people who enjoy wine, I highly recommend trying a tour. The person was very knowledgeable and funny and made the experience a good one. As a warning, it is fairly expensive, but there are some options which are reasonable.

What is this place? It is like walking into a movie set. Unique winery experience. The winery definitely focused on the asthetics when they constructed this place. Lots of photo opportunities for those wanting Instagram worthy photos. If you time in properly you could also go watch a show outdoors! Wine is pretty amazing.
