Excellent customer service experience. The installer was knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us options on which devices we needed and trained us thoroughly on the systems operation.

A "Relocation Manager," Verita Johnson, literally walked into our home on 8/5/19 while we were receiving our household goods shipment from our military PCS move. The door was propped open for the movers going in and out, she just waltzed in as if it was completely acceptable. She then proceeded to go into her sales pitch with my husband, who was so flabbergasted by the gall of this woman, that he didn't even know how to respond. As we are trying to locate missing boxes and check off inventory #'s being called to us as they are brought in, she kept repeating that she was "prior service," "in the Navy," "20+ years," etc. After numerous times of me telling her how busy we were, I finally looked directly at her, told her we would be happy to listen to her pitch at another date, she could call my husband to set up a time, but this was literally the worst possible time to do this. She left, but not before awkwardly pointing out an inventory # on a box, asking if I got that one yet....and peering down at the inventory sheets in my hands, as I scooped them up and said we had it handled and thank you.... Sooo inappropriate. The flyer she handed me had my husband's last 4 and his birth date scribbled on the back, as she said she didn't want to hang on to them. After she left, I asked why on earth he gave that to her, and he looked blankly at me, saying he didn't remember doing it. I don't know if this is a common place sales tactic, but I can see how ambushing families at the most inopportune moment can lead to people just giving the sales person what they're asking for, to get them out of their hair. The more we thought about it later in the day, the more it angered us.

She pulled up in front of our house the next afternoon 8/6/19(didn't call, as I asked her to) while I was mowing our front yard, and was saying that she believed she owed us an apology for the day prior, because she knew how busy we were. I simply said "Yep." She started in about her "20+ years in," and I stopped her with "If you are, in fact, prior service, you know better than anybody how inappropriate your timing was...." She started to then justify her actions, and defend her service record, and I told her to stop because she "was better off ending it with the apology." She kept on, getting defensive, so I finally told her to get off our property, because I was done. I had to tell her to get off our property about a dozen times before she finally left, but not before turning to face me and said "You're lucky I AM on your property, because if I wasn't, this would be a different story." I asked if she was threatening me now, and she just turned and got in her car. She drove away, but turned around at the end of our street(NOT a dead end), rolled down her window, and proceeded to yell at us, as I told her we were calling the police now. "Go ahead!" was her response. We made a report with the Leavenworth police department, and were informed by them that she is actually required to show us a permit for that type of solicitation. We also lodged a complaint with ADT, as she was wearing ADT advertising merchandise. I have left TWO voicemails with Safe Haven regarding this issue, and have YET to receive a return call, despite the knowledge that a police report was made. It is very evident to me that they have little concern regarding the behavior of their sales representatives. I will be making sure our neighborhood is aware of this as well.

I love my new security system! My home feels safe and I love having 24/7 monitoring. Joel worked quickly and was professional, and helped make adjustments to my set up after the initial installation. I appreciate the quick service and I appreciate him sending Chris out when I wanted to change up where a couple sensors were. Chris was great too! He noticed a sensor wasn t displaying correctly after he already had left and came right back. I hadn t even noticed yet! Thank you so much!

Joel provides a great amount of education on each of the available products. It was nice knowing someone was working on our house that had experience and knew what they were talking about. Highly recommended!

Worst company in the world! Don't go through them unless you want to be lied too, tricked and have your money stolen!!!!! One of the techs forged my name to get a sell!!!! Trust me, it is not worth it!!!! I tried to cancel and they asked for 1700 bucks!!! Super classy!!! All they care about is stealing your money!!!!

My technician, Elijah, was absolutely fantastic but my experience with the person who set up my appointment over the phone was not so pleasant. My card was charged without my knowledge and when I called ask for an explanation, I got no answer and my call still hasn't been returned.

Ruben Albarran arrived on time and was fully prepared to do the installation, walk me through using the system, and assisting me in picking out what would work best for my home.
He was friendly, trustworthy and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone needed a comprehensive security system.

I was greeted at the door by Carl Hill, the Safe Haven relocation manager. He was very friendly and helpful in guiding me in the right direction with finding a security system for my new home. The Safe Haven installation technician, Dave Buvel, arrived as scheduled and was very friendly as well as informative as to when he was going to arrive and what he was doing while installing the new security system in my home. Dave was very knowledgeable on the system and the products that ADT had to offer. As a bonus he was very friendly and personable. All in all, my experience with ADT and Safe Haven have been excellent and I would gladly recommend ADT and Safe Haven to friends and family.

I just bought a new home and it was presented to me as a smart home and ADT were to install and set it up for us but we got was a system that has never worked from day one. By the time i get off work the customer service are closed so i can never get any assistance. i am very disappointed and would never have bought the system if these are the kinds of problems it has started with. if the was a 0 rating i would have chosen it. 1 is to much for them

Erick Olivar was fantastic! He came, was friendly, knowledgeable and ready to work! Erick walked me through the best options for my security, explained the system and was extremely patient with my many questions. I recommend that you request Erick for your install, you will be happy with your experience.

Jeff Roher was very helpful and he even allowed us to video tape a presentation if the system. Very nice.

Over all our experience was very good. It took a little longer for installation than we anticipated, however the installer was good. When he was done he explained how everything worked and other features if we chose to upgrade would work with our system.

Ryan was amazing, connected with us and joked around with us. Answered all our endless questions. And helped to accommodate the system to our specific needs. We would most definitely recommend him specifically to come out for ADT services.

I have a very small home and the installation took over 3 hours. Also, after installation one of my doors wouldn't close all the way so I had to remove it. Finally, the estimate I received to have the tech installed was $70 and it ended up being over $400.

Our system was installed about a week ago. We had a few glitches, because of the construction of our building, and each time our installer, Jeff Roher, took care of them immediately and with extreme professionalism. Glad to say we are glitch free and enjoying our sense of security.

Mr. Jim Lam is the man you can trust! He is very professional and supportive. He really thinks for our customers with a great working attitude. Because of my fault, Jim had to drive hours to my place twice, and always happy to help and solve the problems! Five stars!

I will never forget my negative experience with Safe Haven Security. Two years ago my wife and I purchased our first home. The home came equipped with ADT gear from the previous owners, but most of the gear was inactive. We still had things like an alarm we could set, and chimes when the doors and windows opened, but no monitoring.
About two weeks after we moved in, a guy showed up to my front door at 8PM (unsolicited). He showed me a badge that said "ADT" and asked if he could come in to talk about setting up my security system. He seemed nice enough, so I obliged.
Sitting in my living room, he spent 20 minutes telling me about this 'awesome deal' he had going on, but he could only offer me the deal tonight, other wise he would have to call ADT and tell them I wasn't interested and ADT would come and pull all of my gear. I didn't want to lose the ADT gear currently installed, and I wanted to get a security system anyway, but I told the guy that I needed to talk it over with my wife. He told me he could get a special extension to this deal, if I filled out the proper paperwork.
When he handed me the paper, it started asking for very detailed, personal information, like my social security number. I asked him if I could leave the SSN blank, and he told me that I had to fill out the form completely. **RED FLAG**
I started looking more closely at the paperwork and realized everything said "Safe Haven, an ADT Authorized Dealer." All this time, this person tried to give me the impression that he was an ADT employee, when in fact he was some third-party individual. It was at that point that I refused to go any further. I politely told him I wasn't interested, and that it was time for my wife and I to have dinner. I showed him to the door, and I thought that was the end of it.
The next day, I came out to find my truck keyed across the entire side, from back to front. I back my truck into the driveway, so this job was done by someone walking from my front door, away from my home. Only one culprit; Mr. Safe Haven.
I actually called ADT and asked them if they would ever come to pull ADT gear if someone decided they were no longer interested in monitoring service. They assured me the gear was MY property, and that they would never take it out of my home for any reason. So it turns out the Safe Haven dude is a liar and a vandal...
I filed a police report, then called the company to make a complaint. The repairs on my truck cost me over $500 to get the scratches out. I wanted some kind of resolution to this issue. The representative 'Johnathon Platz' said he would help me look into it, but I never heard back from them.
I installed security cameras recently, and thought about how I could have used the footage from this camera against Safe Haven. That's what reminded me to write this review.

Rob Thompson came out and took care of the issues we had with our previous 2 visits from another ADT tech. He was friendly, solved our problems, and was very timely. I highly recommend him!

Me and my boyfriend just moved into our first home and i am very glad we installed ADT because i feel so safe now. Ruben Albarran is the one who did the installation for us and i am very impressed with the help he has offered through the whole process. I have even texted/called him multiple times after the installation since i always have questions and he is very quick to help or guide me through anything. The system is working great for us, we are even thinking of getting more devices installed for that extra security. But for now everything will do. He made sure I was satisfied and comfortable with my new system before leaving. I will highly reccomend using him.

Promised equipment that was never installed. Just came in and changed the key pad to a touch screen, put sensors on the doors BUT not the windows even though the original alarm had sensors on all doors and windows and then charged me twice as much as what was previously paying. I wouldn't recomend ADT to anyone!!!

They are the absolute worst security company with even worse customer service. It took 4 phone calls and 2 hours and I still have not talked to the customer service manager Britney, I am beginning to think she does not exist. I had a system installed and 10 days later a piece literally fell off leaving my house unprotected. I called to have it replaced and they said that since I don't have the piece that fell off (I have a baby and a puppy one of them probably ate it) that I would have to pay for it. The pieces are stuck on with a sticker. Buyer be warned!! DO NOT USE SAFE HAVEN you will regret it.

My husband and I just bought our first home, and decided to get a security system. Philip Fernandez was who came and installed it. He was on time, did his job quickly but thoroughly and answered every question we had. We weren t quite sure about some of the equipment or where to place it, but with his guidance, we are confident we are secure! Phil was also a really nice guy which is a plus, considering it isn t a quick installation. I was comfortable having him in my new home!
