I found the hotel room lovely! I stayed 2 weeks and the room had everything I needed to enjoy and catch the center of Brisbane city. Impeccable service! Thank you Rydges Hotel South Bank and thank you Australia!

Location is great, close to all amenities. Room was large and luxurious and service was warm, friendly and courteous

Beautiful and the rooms are reasonably priced. $40 parking is a bit excessive though.

My new car was damaged while in their care and they denied it. They could not understand how it happened but were somehow certain that it didn't. Will not use Rydges again.

This is my second stay with you, and once again spotlessly clean, efficient check-in and check-out. I will be back every time I visit Brisbane.

I booked as part of an event & it was hassle free. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and presentable on check in and room service does a really good job during the stay. I have stayed here in the past and the service has been quite consistent. I will definitely stay again in the future!

Lovely high tea - great ambiance & level of service. Food was gorgeous.

Travelled to Brisbane for a concert at the Exhibition Centre and stayed here for 2 nights in a river view room. Fantastic location for restaurants and sightseeing. Had breakfast in the hotel cafe downstairs both days and thought it was great value. Brisbane CBD is a 20 minute walk across the river and we spent the day walking the whole CBD & Southbank areas. The river view room was modern, clean and very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were amazing!! Did anything they could to make our stay more accommodating. Rooms and lovely and clean, highly recommend staying here!

Amazing central location for families on holidays, corperate clientele here for a conference or someone new to Brisbane looking to see whats on offer.
Staff are always ready and willing to ensure your stay in Briabane is the most comfortable it can be.

Fantastic, most comftable beds, modern, large screen tvs, they go the extra miles to make your stay the best. Great choice of bars and restaurants

The staff that go to your room and give you goodies and bring you ice etc. are wonderful. They brought me two tea pots with peppermint and Chai tea in these little boxes that were so lovely (extra mile stuff) and then when the other guy came to give me the ice I told him how deliscious the Chair tea was and he went out of his way to find it for me and bring me more. He was awesome and i didn't get his name, but appreciated it so much. A great hotel - clean, good location, and great customer service. The front desk customer service is good too but I really feel that the ones running around doing everything like room service, concierge, etc. are the BEST.

Disappointed in the quality of the food. Our sweets were stale and boring. Very under whelmed. Service was sensational.

We have stayed twice in the last two weeks and the hotel looks so much better with the rooms updated and new carpets and decor around the hotel. Our first room had some toiletries that were part used and left for us, not acceptable in a hotel of your standard ! There was a chrome bracket in the bathroom that we could not work out what it was for until we stayed the next time and realised the soap dish had been missing. The loo paper is cheap and you need to upgrade the quality. At our second stay there was no full length mirror anywhere in the room. Having said this your staff are friendly and very efficient particularly in the downstairs cafe/bar, reception and concierge area. We will certainly stay at Rydges again when visiting Brisbane. The hotel has a good atmosphere that we have related to many friends.

Stayed only one night in one of the suites. Room was very spacious and had great furnishings. Loved that the TV units both had easily accessible USB & HDMI ports on the fronts. Bathtub was wonderful addition as well. Free WIFI provided also a plus.

I've stayed here before and enjoyed the location for it's convenience and the neighbourhood.
I arrived early and the room wasn't ready - which is standard for hotels, but staff were welcoming, and after a reminder at 2.00, were able to give me the room key.
Since my last stay, the rooms have been refurbished and are of a very high standard.
The restaurant was full and a table not ready for 3/4 hour, but the hostess made an effort to get me seated earlier. As usual, the restaurant service was excellent and the food very nice indeed - with exciting and innovative flavours featuring.
On returning to my room I discovered a complimentary bottle of wine had been left - and I greatly appreciated the thought.
I recommend Southbank Rydges to anyone who tells me they are coming to Brisbane. A high quality stay.

Rydges South Bank Brisbane is made up of big, spacious, clean and modern rooms. Would have to be one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. In the heart of South Bank, close to the ferry terminal, it really makes for a great stay - whether it be overnight or for a longer period. Friendly and welcoming staff. I would definately stay again and recommend to others :)

The room was large, clean, had a great view of the river and the service was great. Highly recommended.

We always choose to stay at Rydges South Bank when traveling to Brisbane. The location, amenities, quality and cleanliness are what you expect when deciding on accommodation away from home. It is always at the top of our list. Cheers Craig & Lara Argent

Great hotel, good facilities, poor execution. Sheets not tucked in, nowhere to hang towels other than directly above the toilet. Great location.

My husband and I upgraded to the Junior Suite as it was our first night away without our baby. The rooms were lovely and spacious but we were put on the 1st floor directly above the pool and bar so we spent the night listening to the crowd downstairs despite keeping the doors closed.
The next morning when checking out the reception staff didn't even ask us how our stay was. VERY DISSAPOINTING! I should have asked to be moved when we checked in but didn't realise that it was going to be so noisy.

Room was lovely - only issue we had that it was noisy from the bar below - would be better if we were on a higher floor.

Nice and close to the convention centre, train station and restaurants. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby and good coffee downstairs at the CBD Bar. Easy trip by taxi to/from the airport.

Was here for new years eve. Very central location good rooms buy was very overpriced for room even though it had no view.

From check in to check out my experience was 5 stars all the way. The staff were friendly and efficient, the meals were beautiful and fresh and breakfast served in the restaurant was a treat. The bed was so comfortable I drifted off into a dream filled night.

We always stay here when in Brisbane Southbank. Always helpful. Comfort and convenience.

Lovely clean rooms. Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly and very helpful. Price to stay for two nights quite expensive. Great location. Valet staff 10/10.

The location is great, as are the views from level 12 of the conference room. The function room was good, though a little warm at times (which made it hard to focus). The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was 8/10. The facilities, chairs, projector etc were good as well. The only suggestion I would have is change from pot of black coffee (so American) to actual pod machine.

Can't wait to go back, close to everything, perfect for families.
Would give it 6 stars if every stay was as good as the last

Great location in the missus of Southbank and the perfect venue for a business function.

3 friends of 45 years revisiting their teenage times by attending "Beautiful. The Carol King Story". Rydges South Bank made it memorable with a fabulous room, exceptional service and the perfect location for QPAC. Pre theatre Champagne in Soleil, the roof top bar was an excellent way to start. Albeit a little chilly the numerous heaters made for a cosy experience. A 5 minute walk had us at the show with time to spare. Walking home saw us having a nightcap in a bar close to the hotel. Quite a few in this buzzing area.
Breakfast was outstanding! So many choices with friendly staff bringing your freshly made coffee.
Thank you for our tasting plate of handmade chocolates to commemorate our " Beautiful" experience.
All 3 of us have now changed our previous Brisbane hotels to Rydges as our destination in the CBD.
We will be most definitely recommending it to family & friends

Just love staying here.....from the time you walk through the door you are given a warm welcome by reception......CBD bar offers a fabulous choice of food and a great selection of coffees and wines and spirits. The suites are amazing everything you need including beautiful views of the city and river. Attention to detail is outstanding. All the staff are friendly and nothing is a bother to them. The choice of breakfast in Bacchus is fantastic. Staying here again this weekend. Great base for sightseeing.

My wife and I stay at Rydges at south brisbane on a regular basis as she has medical appointments on the terrace in Brisbane we have found Rydges very handy, close to railway, and we get looked after very well

Don't pay for the debit/credit card 100 dollar pre approvement ...I'm still waiting 2 weeks later and still have not recieved My funds back...i didn't break anything or owt...terrible service for an international company

Very comfortable rooms, helpful and attentive staff and excellent location right by Southbank and walking distance to the city of Brisbane.

The hotels refurbishment of its rooms and hallways is absolutely exceptional, up-to-date and very comfortable. Certainly well overdue so this is now a top class hotel in every aspect. Hard to fault and if there was one minor problem it is that the tap over the vanity basin is not into the basin far enough making it very difficult to even wash your hands, however this was the only minor downside which is not enough to make this even a negative. Huge congratulations, keep up the excellent standard. The restaurant is absolutely first-class and the unexpected small surprises throughout the meal make a massive difference. Don't change a thing!!!

A school formal is a perfect activity or even a reception for this amazing hotel with a view. Great central spot with full concierge service and stylish furniture present in all parts of the hotel. I recommend using the hotel for functions or stays at the hotel.

Hands down the best location in Southbank. Could not fault a thing, excellent service, beautiful room great company. Thank you defiantly what the doctor order.

Was upgraded to a mini suite during my stay. A pleasant surprise.

A very good venue for conferences up to 300 people. I've been to several conferences here you to that size.
The venue is flexible and can be adjusted to size, or have an area for networking and meals, and another for conferencing.

Great place! Room had a really nice view and made the convention centre a quick wall down the road many restaurants in the area and the staff are friendly and joyful. The rooms are very clean and they were neatly presented. The hotel itself is very well maintained and you can barely find a single thing wrong with it. The pool was great but it is a bit tiny considering the amount of people that are usually wanting to use it. There were other great amenities and the hotel was very easy to navigate with very well marked hallways and elevators. Overall is just one of my favourite places to stay at when staying up in Brisbane. Will definitely stay there once again when needing to travel there. Highly suggest the Hotel for other people when visiting.

Stayed here with my family, when we were in Brisy for My Fair Lady and we loved the new outfit! It has been years and it was getting quite old but it was just lovely. The beds are great. Food and room service is still great but a bit dear. We will definitely be coming back next time we visit QPAC for a show.

Very nice. We were at the poolside Bar Soleil. Very classy ambience. Non existent service. The waitress who on the only occasion we saw her asked us for our order shortly before we left and declined to remove the empties on the table.

Prices were city prices. Not outrageous. Not cheap.

Quiet for a Friday afternoon. Might be a good place to go if you're in Southbank.

From front desk's suggestion to swim at the hotel pool or Park Land's man made beach instead of the dirty Brisbane River, to the breakfast each morning, to the increase in room occupancy at the late hour plus the special access to Brisbane Conference Center - everything was grand. Next time me and my son will remember closed shoes and long pants so we can enjoy the degustation.

Great breakfast buffet had more than we could ever eat. Room was very comfy with a lounge and balcony. In built led tv with connectivity for iPhone and android. Staff were very helpful and parking was a breeze with valet. Would love to stay again.

What a fun funky place to visit. I have stayed there quite a bit and really enjoy the entire place to the fullest. Excellent pool bar area and cant get a better selection of drinks in the South Bank area. Check it out, for a modern chic place with a great feel this is the place to be.
