The ambiance and location are wonderful, but if you are the vegan in the group, eat before coming (unless you like greasy broccoli). If you add mushrooms to an order, please realize this is a side item and very large (also greasy). There is a vegan option (which consists of root vegetables only) and a couple salads which can be modified. The Brussel sprouts are not available and skip the fries. They will not be hot. However, if all you want is a good view and drinks, this is the place!

If i could place 10 on this place? I would. Service is real nice. Drinks are excelent. The food has been all better than expected. Specially the octopus (one of the best ive had). A little more expensive than your average restorant, but you get more than you pay for in here. The view is one of the best in Miami.
My husband and I made a reservation here for our 3 year wedding anniversary, and let's just say everything was absolutely beautiful!!!! The view was stunning!!! Food was excellent and our waitress was on point! When I visit Miami again I will be returning!!!
Amazing food, but our servers hands looked so dirty and it was so nasty especially because he s handling our food, and then our food took way to to long and people that got there after us got their food before us and left before us, such horrible service, we had to ask someone else about our food
We were here for a wedding. This place was fantastic, the view of Miami was gorgeous at night. During the rehearsal I had some down time and visited the bar to get a kids meal for some hungry little one's and staff was friendly and service good. During the wedding event everything was top notch: the venue, the service, the food... all of it.
Good place, our server was Amazing! Everything was really good. The view was amazing. The food was prepared perfectly and the service was amazing. The grilled octopus was exceptional. They are very kind to kids and me and my family had a great time. Our server was so nice and we will definitely be back again.
Food was ok but not worth the price, service was not as good as expected. Beware of parking, if you don't valet park you will be booted and charged $89 so for that reason alone I will not be revisiting this restaurant.
The restaurant has excellent views of the city skyline and good banquet halls, but the food and drinks are way too overpriced in relation to quantity. Ours came out to an average of $45 dollars per person. One can get far better food and beverage quantities at much lower prices elsewhere, minus the city skyline views of course. Their attention to customers could also use some improvement; no one proactively filled our water nor asked if we wanted more coke.
It took them 20 minutes to acknowledge we were even here. We asked a waiter and she wasn t extremely rude about it and didn t do anything, I had to personally ask the manager to send someone over. The food was ok but the portions were ridiculous, I ordered Ceviche and got a tablespoon of it. The drinks were HORRIBLE! We also asked if they could move the sun umbrella and I had to do it myself. Never coming back.
Food and atmosphere are fantastic. Prices are good considering how expensive Miami Beach can get. Great views of downtown Miami and good service. My only recommendation would be to provide music for the outdoor seating area.
The staff were very helpful, had a lunch right next to the bay outside. Perfect weather, not hot at all. Didn't even break a sweat being outside. The food was really good. Wasn't cheap though, but not anything out this world, definitely affordable.
The service very good, the food too, I do not recommend the Valet parking, I delivered my new car, they delivered it with a blow and nobody was responsible.
The cocktails were very good and so was the view but.... not to crazy about the gravy tasting with the scallops. And service not to good (very slow) and after we requested splitting Bill's in advance they still put it all on one check. Ughhhh....
Gorgeous views of Miami Beach and great Outdoor seating, not to mention good food and drinks! Best for weekend brunch with your girls or group of friends
This a traditional restaurant in Miami Bay, good environment and exclusive service and friendly staff. But The Mojito was a disaster, how you can imagine that in luxury and expense restaurant, present this traditional Cuban drink in a ordinary glass, plus in one of two Mojitos, come attached with Malay outside. And the Lobsters was over cooking, for the money expend your can enjoy 3 times a same meals in another restaurant.
My wife and I only moved to Miami three months ago and this is the place she loves to bring any of our visitors to show them a quintessential Miami dining experience. Looking out over the water Sitting outside Amazing food Great drinks. We really dig this place.
My sister just went to this restaurant today for her wedding anniversary and had a great time, until they decided to have one last drink before leaving. The bar tender ( the woman that works on Tuesday on the morning shift) had a horrible attitude and refused to serve them a drink, told them to go sit at the table again so someone else could take their order and gave them weird looks and even rolled her eyes at them. I believe that she was was being racist towards them and once my sister toldThe manager, she said that bad looks weren t a crime. For such an expensive restaurant there should be better customer care. Very disappointed in rusty pelican, definitely not going back there again and not recommending it to no one ever again.
The view from this restaurant is absolutely amazing. We sat outside and saw geckos dolphins and manatees while we ate out meal. .My wife had the poke bowl and I had the wagyu. I ordered the wagyu medium rare but it was much tougher then I expected from a wagyu steak. My wife loved the poke bowl
Everything in this restaurant is good the view is beautiful the food is delicious the service is perfect there is nothing negative to say the price is expensive but worth every penny you pay
I went with my husband and daughter, the experience in the restaurant was very good. Douglas the young man who waited on us was super friendly. Pending everyone even my daughter. Delicious food and spectacular view.
This is still one of the most popular places in Miami for large get togethers, wedding receptions or parties. The views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay are magnificent. There is even a Sunday brunch here that is great. The parking here is usually valet only and there can be a bit of a wait.
The place has a wonderful view and decent food, however with our young children they made us feel unwelcome. We stopped in for lunch and they asked if we wanted to sit inside or out. We said outside and they took us out and sat us. A waiter came up to our table and asked if we would rather sit inside because how the clouds were moving he knew it was going to rain. We decided he is from the area and probably has a good idea when rain is coming. We moved inside and had our food. Most of the patrons were seated outside and after they sat us inside they continued to seat people outside. While inside they made us feel like more of an inconvenience than paying customers. The waiter did ok and food (lunch) was above average. I m going to assume dinner is better than lunch and the only reason to go to this place is most likely for the view. I would not recommend it for young children.
This place very nice view but the horrible attention of the waiters I asked for a plate and they brought me another one a waiter from Colombia understood me, the truth is I like them but his horrible attention didn't even attend us at all I went because my boyfriend took me to celebrate My birthday, which was yesterday, August 14, three people went well, the lobster I asked for, nor did the mass have the meat, if it was very rich, but a dish so expensive and the main thing had no mass, which was lobster, my boyfriend ordered filet stump with mashed potatoes and he They brought fries omg horrible to complete when they bring me the bill we paid them and although the attention was not good at all or anything we left tips and the waiter did not like it and returned to later that it did not worry him or to pay for the electricity of his house hahahahaha it really was good he wanted he said we had to give him 18% of what it cost everything that was 45 pesos good not to fight and be good people we gave it to him when it was not good care or anything in my life I go back toi r to that place that horrible omg I do not recommend it super expensive for and such bad attention
Came here for the sunset as I read it was a good place to see it. You do see the sun setting behind the Miami skyline. It was really impressive and beautiful. Service was great overall, we only ordered wine and sushi and didn t feel pressured to order more. The cornbread was spectacular and complimentary. Must have with the whipped butter and the salt it is served with. The wine list is extensive and exhaustive. The sushi was very well presented and really really delicious. The menu overall is great, although it can be pricey, as expected. Worth coming if you re visiting the Miami area.
Food was nearly as disappointing as the service. Nearly. 20 minute wait for parking definitely served as a premonition of the experience. Lovely venue.
A spectacular place, the attention is one of the best. The exquisite food and the decoration of the plate very well (as it should be). The truth a place to repeat
One of the best views you can ask for. Service wasn t up to par but we all I have our bad days. Food was average, nothing spectacular, you re really paying for the view and pictures that one should definitely take. I d go back again, not for the food necessarily but for drinks with friends/family to enjoy the view.
The view is 5/5 AMAZING! The food is honestly the same as red lobster but $15-20 more. The service is great 5/5 The restaurant is beautiful, great ambiance. Menu 2/5. Nothing really looks like something you d crave or something interesting. It s the kinda restaurant you go for the view, drinks, socialize, and just have some food that you ll forget what you ordered.
By far the best restaurant in Miami ! The food and service are superb, and the views breathtaking, especially as Miami twinkles at night across the water. Very romantic atmosphere !
We had a family wedding a few weeks back and I do have to say the views are the best anywhere. However, the food is a total bust for me. The wedding buffet consisted of pasta and salad, that I have to say was really good. But the restaurant, completely overrated. Way too much fusion/seasoning on things that taste nothing like they're supposed to. It's a beautiful place, don't get me wrong. The views are gorgeous. But that's about it
Absolutely everything about this place is amazing!! I'm no easy audience I highly recommend this fabulous place to everyone and anyone! It's on the water with amazing views whether you go during the day or in the evening. The wait staff has manners that are impeccable! Kudos to the management for great training. The staff or a pleasure the food is amazing hands down some of the best in all of Miami along with the service I can't say enough about the service. The bread but they serve you when you first sit down is to die for you will never eat anything better ever ever ever ever anywhere! It's absolutely addicting. Portions are nice size prices are reasonable location is 10 Stars along with the staff. Highly recommend to anyone local for romantic evening. Or wonderful day time anniversary lunch. It's a fabulous place to get married. Have a bachelorette party have a bachelor party the bar is beautiful the views I can't say enough they have a baby grand piano and the staff oh my God the staff is amazing I can't say enough about staff or about this place!!! If you are visiting you don't want to miss just fabulous all around you will remember me as you get up and leave and say to yourself wow I just had an amazing meal with amazing service an outstandingly amazing view. I will be back I go back on a regular basis all of the time! Kudos to everyone at The Rusty Pelican.
This restaurant is a 5 star one in terms of the location with astonishing views of the Miami skyline in a fanciful atmosphere. What I did not like was the service, which in my opinion in a restaurant like this could have been better. In terms of the food, the octopus was too full of condiments and the oysters were not the best either. I liked the complimentary bread with the best butter ever, the crab cake and the Mediterranean mussels. Parking is also available with valet only ($6). Went there for my birthday celebration at brunch time.
Came here from bunch on New Year's Day with my parents who were visiting from Texas. It was the perfect place to take them!! We sat outside and the view was stunningly beautiful, the food was great, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating.
Skyline views of the best I've seen. The service very attentive, the dishes served quickly, tight prices, very well prepared menus. Totally recommended.
How can you say no to Rusty Pelican. RPM is a Miami staple. The views are incredible, their event facilities are amazing and their food and cocktails are tremendous. Always a great experience not to mention the friendly staff. I ve been coming here for years and it s always a treat!
