Absolutely beautiful views. I would say that is the highlight of the whole place. Otherwise, the place is way overpriced.

This good chic good kind Resto Bar with a panoramic view of Miami Beach is unique. Welcoming, friendly, stylish American cuisine, they make Brunch on weekends. Parking also for the disabled.
Great food Great drinks Great deserts Great service fund place Great view of Miami ski line and bay
One of the most romantic and best views of the city! Not only are the views phenomenal, the service and food is absolutely amazing! My husband and I love coming here to enjoy a bottle of wine and their delicious lobster! They also have a great bar inside, with a variety of drink selections.
Firstly SHOUT OUT TO THE WHOLE VALET TEAM, they amazing appreciate y all. To Justin our waiter we appreciate you. Now as far as the resturant set up, energy, amazing but the food... No, the food wasn t the best. Food was bland, steak over cooked, Salmon was cooked well but bland. Overall cool experience not the best!
Amazing brunch today, the food was good and the service was AMAZING OMG!!! Isabel, Jorge, and Guillermo were on point, all of them served us with care and professionalism. Thank you guys for making our meal all the more wonderful!!
Good food. Excellent service. Our waiter Roberto was outstanding!
Excellent service by douglas, great food and view..
View and settings are nice. Food is good. Service not so much.
Remains the best view in Miami. Excelente place to eat and/or just enjoy the bar area.
This place is AMAZING! I have always gone for dinner but I decided to take my kids to brunch. Awesome food hands down! They have fruity pebbles pancakes, bacon that is to die for and healthy options like whole snapper. Not to mention bottomless mimosas if that's your thing and great servers. Reservations highly recommended as wait times can be extremely long!
I was robbed in the park or a bad experience disaster :(
Outstanding staff, outstanding food and location. I just had my wedding ceremony and reception there. I recommend this place for your occasion and also for regular visit at the restaurant. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable on what they are doing. They guide you and assist you each step from the beginning until the end of your event. Again outstanding staff, location and food.
Best restaurant in Miami (at least that I tried). Only issue was when sitting outside right at dusk the flies swarmed our food. I would recommend eating inside when around sunset. The flies didn't seem to bother folks after it got dark.
Visited first time for an early date night! And had such a wonderful time. Our server Douglas was not only attentive, he was friendly, personable, and professional! He was great! Oh, and the view from the patio dining was just divine. With the Florida heat, we really apprciated that they had fans circulating cool air, it certainly made outside seating bearable. With everything going on now surrounding COVID-19 I really appreciated how well the restaurant itself practiced social distancing, maintained cleanliness, and wore masks. It eased the worry of dining out! We look forward to visiting again
Tried the one in st.petersburg, loved it sowe had to try the one here in Miami too! Great experience and such an attentive staff. Highly reccomend, for anyone very family friendly as well! Beautiful views to topit all off!
Pricey for lunch, but okay food. Beautiful view looking across at cruise ships.
Lets start with the cons: Front door staff member was super rude. After confirming our reservation she proceeded to tell us that we had a maximum of 2 hours to eat and get out. I asked if the 2 hour clock started after I was served (considering the wait time to get seated despite having a reservation) and she laughed at my face saying that was funny and that it started once I was seated. Now as a first time customer that was a very bad impression especially after the recommendation I got from a friend, the reviews I read online and the prices listed on the menu.
Second con: Once my name was called at the waiting area the host welcomed us and asked if it was a special occasion. I told her we were in town for our honeymoon so she congratulated us and attempted to get us a nice table (preferably outside as we had asked for) only to be shutdown by her manager. Once at our table, which was nice and comfortable (indoors), she asked if we liked champagne and that she would get us complimentary glass since she couldn't get us a better table. Needless to say she never came back with them and I wasn't going to ask since it wasn't something I was paying for. The gesture would have been very welcomed considering the 2 prior strikes but to no avail. 3 strikes for your team.
Pros: The food was very good. My wife loved the crab cake and lobster risotto. I also had the risotto and the snapper ceviche which was amazing. The view was spectacular if you are seating outside. Seeing the bright lights beaming from Miami in the night was surely photo worthy.
Overall I would probably never dine here again considering the issues with the staff during our honeymoon. Personally I am all about quality and although the food was good its definitely not worth my time and money. There are plenty of great restaurants around Miami.
Awesome please, great view, perfect service from Albi (our waiter).
Called to make a reservation and the lady on the phone was rude and had an attitude. We ll see what the customer service is like when I go there tomorrow
The Rusty Pelican is a Miami staple and fees seafood and bayfront location put the finishing touches on amazing ambiance. The brunch is phenomenal.
The food and service were stunning and they were very nice and the food was great, can't go wrong will do it again.
Great location but food not as good as the view of Miami Skyline.
Such an amazing experience. The waitress was super friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a 5 star experience from the moment we walked right in.
The view was breathtaking. Great place to take pictures if you're visiting. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
When I first read the reviews about the poor service at this restaurant especially the bartenders, j was skeptical. But then last night we experienced it first hand! The guy bartender is very rude & arrogant! I went to ask for glasses of water for our table & gave me only one. I told him that am going to need more because our table of 10 is out of water. He said that he will come over to our instead, but never showed up. That s when I went back to the bartender since the rest of servers were pretty busy & him just standing around doing nothing! But instead of apologizing & fix the simple problem, he tried to lie to me & said that he was looking for ice, which it s in front of him. It was very clear that he was not going to be helpful! It s interesting that this guy & the other lady bartender still has a job there! They are very poor incustomer service, professionalism & most of all the ability to do their job in which they are getting paid for! It s too bad that these employees have gotten away with it for so long, if others have posted poor service in the past! If I was the manager I would have cleaned out these bartenders giving a bad attitude to paying customers!
Quality service of the dishes comfortable and pleasant place
What a disappointment and waste of money. If it wasn't for the view this restaurant is nothing. Went for brunch and the service was OK but not on par with their prices. I ordered the NY strip medium rare and received it medium. The eggs were done correctly but the hash potatoes were like the ones at an all you can eat at the downstairs lobby of a motel. Its was an ordeal getting refills also. Well like I said it all about the view so enjoy the view
I just called to make a reservation, the lady on the phone told me to wait 1 minute, I was waiting on the phone for over 8 minutes, I don't know if it odds a good restaurant but definitely a bad taste in my mouth before I even get there, I hope the service is not the same once you're in there
This is one of my favourite restaurants in the whole planet and I do a lot of travelling. There are several reasons. First of all, the view and the position of the place are perfect. The food is delicious. Lots of vegetarian options. Monday to Friday they got Happy Hour between 4pm till 7pm and the menu is great value for money.
Great food, wonderful staff! Try to get an outside table, and try to get there at least 45 mins before sunset, it is well worth it. You will not be disappointed in the view!!
Ulysses our server was what took our experience above our expectations. Been here a couple times before and I feel like it keeps getting better lol.
Service was wonderful and beautiful view of the water
We're already doing that twice, in 12 months.
Reservation was unproblematic.
They wanted to seat us with 8 people at 2 tables, too narrow.
We had ordered coke, the first filling was automatic, at the 2 we had to ask, which is filled up please.
Those who take such prices, I expect top service.
Espresso in coffee cups, does not work.
The food is ok the view Mega but service for the price range must be better!
Spectacular view of the Miami skyline. Food and drink were excellent. Atmosphere was whatever you wanted it to be at that moment. They have fire pits outside on their patio and my gf and I found it cozy and romantic looking out over the bay towards the skyline.
View=5 stars
Food=5 stars
Service=1 star. Please get more and better waiters, it's a shame they can ruin they experience for you.
The food is very rich, its specialty is fish, the desserts are very rich and the view is unbeatable.
We made a reservation for a Saturday two days in advance and upon arrival we had to wait 45 minutes.
Outstanding!
My wife and I had arranged to join two other couples for lunch at the Rusty Pelican. Just before we went, I read the Google reviews. They nearly dissuaded me from going. However, we were all glad we went. We had six different meals: pancakes, hamburger, sandwich, etc. Five were outstanding; one was very good. The portions were large and inexpensive; the view was beautiful.
Rusty pelican is one of those places !
A must go if you are a tourist looking for the great views and the south Florida experience. As a local I think there is a great need for improvement. It s food is over decorated and good but not memorable. The building needs renovations and the views are always great!
Above average food and a great top shelf wine list. The view of the Miami skyline night lights are breathtaking even for those of us who were born and raised in Miami. Expect to spend a little more than many other restaurants, but it's worth every penny of it. If you want random inexpensive food, this isn't the place to go, even the valet will snicker at your tip if you're a cheapskate. We always dine here when we visit Miami. Once the staff knows you, they will go out of their way to impress your friends and others dining there. Coat and tie highly suggested to get a window table and the A list staff. One of Miami's best known "locals" restaurant and probably the best night view of Miami for a moment to remember. A must when dining in Miami especially to impress your date or a client.
It is a very pleasant place to spend an afternoon with friends or family, or simply with your partner and tanning to the sea breeze and a beautiful view of the Miami skyline
Incredible location and night view of the city of Miami !!!
Parking was a hassle and very tight. Waiter was snippy when he brought me the wrong order. When I addressed it he took almost 20 minutes to bring me the right order and due to the appetizer being so small and being hungry at that point i just ate the meal in defeat. Waiter came back and was rude that I ate the wrong meal. Took forever for refills and meals that were too small for the price. View was nice. Would recommend for lunch if you're from out of town
We went as a class for a field trip, waiters dropped water on us, the power was out the whole 4 hours, the food was very little, and the attitude from all employees was very involuntary. Would not recommend
Love the view, food and service! We dined twice in the same week, once for dinner and then for brunch a few days later. Food was great and those mimosas were amazing. Our server was incredible - Cinthia Terreno made sure we were taken care of, didn t go dry with our drinks and was on top of our needs. She made our experience over the top. Grateful for her desire in wanting to ensure we had the best experience - well Cinthia knocked it out of the park! Definitely recommend Rusty Pelican.
Wow what a pleasant surprise! Drinks were great. Asked for our appetizers to be expedited and they were. This was a quick 30 minutes visit as one person had to catch the VRE train. Total success and will definitely be back.
Spectacular. To go to eat or have a drink at sunset or at night.
Service was good but the food was phenomenal! We had sushi, Calamari, crab cakes, salmon, and the snapper...everything was fresh, tasty and nicely sized portions. Will be back!!
Wow.. what an experience. Can't explain enough how amazing this place was.
I hate to give it 2 stars but Customer service is #1 to me. The food was delicious which I'll give it a 5 but the hostess and our waitress has absolutely no customer service training whatsoever. I don't feel like writing an essay but an establishment such as Rusty Pelican should train their employees the value of customer service for who ever walks in their place of business.
Disgusting food and waiters that want to lie to your face about how many drinks you ordered when there s a whole table as witnesses. I highly recommend you go to another restaurant that cost less trust me when I tell you , $14 for crappy fries is not worth it.
Celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary here. Food and ambiance were great as was our server Gina.
Really beautiful place, great view! Grest service, great food!! Not the place to go during ULTRA FEST...
Very good service and excellent food, the site has a very beautiful view
Great restaurant with great views. Upscale dining with a laid back feel. Second time I've been here two years apart. Loved the dishes, service, and views each time. Worth the money and definitely worth a stop.
Elegant, large wine menu, great terrace overlooking Brickell and downtown.
Food is overpriced for the quality and quantity. Desert flavor did not impress me.
A restaurant that you have to request a reservation to attend. The food quite good, very nice but I feel that the service can improve a little more.
This place is always one of my favorites places to see the skyline of Miami. Be prepare to pay, but nevertheless it is worth it. Nice staff amazing crab cake and a 3 leeches with berries, fire cozy lights. Be aware of the parking lot they may put a botlock on your car, so if you can pay the valet it would be more cheaper.
Great view, average food. If you can eat outside, it's a good choice. Otherwise, there are a lot of options in Key Biscayne.
The server Ingrid was the best. Very attentive, sweet kind and helpful. Made my anniversary dinner amazing. She recommended Lobster and shrimp risotto. It was delicious!
The location is beautiful, I visited long time ago for the first time. It is a very different resaurant now. I am so sad it changed. I went a saturday night (nov 9), it was empty and the hosted made us wait, the service was really bad. The food was good but the experience was obscured by the poor attention.
Aesthetics: 5 Stars
Food: 3 Stars
Service: 2 Stars
We loved the way this place looks once you are inside, can't beat those views. Food tasted alright, but our server (Armin I believe) didn't feel the need to write down our order and hence he forgot to order our side of truffle cream corn we had asked for a la carte, and by the time he came to check on us to see if we wanted to add it, we had already finished our food.
Beautiful views of the Miami skyline. Incredible food and service. Casual atmosphere but fine dining food.
Great place to have lunch with a beautiful view of Miami!
I regret I ate there last night!
My stomach hurts because of the old oysters I was served to eat.
Me and my family have been going there for 7 years , but this time was so different.
When we arrived at the location we were not greeted at all. Due to Covid maybe...
We did not enjoy the service at all.
The waiter was kind but difficult to understand cause he would speak Italian. I am not trying to be mean, please understand that two times we asked for certain foods and got something different.
This time it was my hubby s birthday and he got a card as a Thank you for celebrating your birthday with us and the waiter at the end when we had to pay, he stood there to visualize the gratuity that had to be offered by us.
Very uncomfortable situation which I never like.
The oysters were tasting bad, we ordered a plate of 12 , but because the waiter did not understand he brought to our table only 3 oysters. Thank God for that cause the 3 of them were bad tasting. I tried 2. My partner said his oyster had a bad taste right the moment I was chewing mine.
The table was not clean prior to our arrival. It was having oil spots on it, like you eat something grasy and you put your hands on the table.
The salmon and mashed potatoes were great!
The 2 stars it s for the bad service, and the oysters.
I miss the warm welcome, I miss the birthday surprises they used to do before. We came there last December and they gave us a Dolce de leche as a dessert celebration.
What can I say, it was supposed to be a happy birthday ... but we were meh when we left...
The reservation was for a table outside, not for inside were we been directed to seat.
Because we came late (45min) and they were closing I assume they did not wanted us to be seated outside. Everyone was in a hurry at the place made me feel like a hurricane is coming or tsunami was approaching.
And at last, when we were leaving we asked the manager of the place (it just happened for him to be there) to take a picture of us and he rushed us he took 3 pics in a hurry and left right away.
Poor service
Our server was miguel and he was attentive and kind. The food was good and i plan on coming back to try new dishes.
Large upscale restaurant for locals and tourists alike. Food is good, not very good, good.
Excellent food, great service and awesome view of Miami.
I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. If you're visiting Miami I highly recommend getting a table outside, the view is absolutely breathtaking. Food, drinks, service was fantastic.
Lush restaurant, international food, a good place to go in the evening enjoying the boats by the sea
Well basic, no cover, no sweetie with the express alias that comes in a large cup. Anyway, pampering for the customer. Food ok, nothing exceptional.
Excellent food, great service. Perfect views of bay and downtown.
