Has a spectacular view!!!! The food is good and they have a lot of variety of cocktails!!!!
View was amazing, food was OK, and the service was very poor the day we visited.
An exquisite experience. The magnificent attention from our waiter Brian, who made us spend an unforgettable night, the special service.
Fantastic service and food, and the view is incredible. Cant wait to go back!!
Can't believe this place only has 4 stars! I made same-day reservations for a party of TWELVE between 7-8pm and they accomodated excellently. Gave me the choice of inside or out. Food is absolutely exquisite especially if you love seafood. Came here for my mom's birthday and they provided an nice assortment of deserts and sang happy birthday. Manager even spoke with us and was very professional and friendly. Service was prompt and accomodating. Beauitful view of the bay!
Rusty Pelican has became a tradition for me and my friends. Everytime we fly in for a month or a weekend trip we make it a priority to stop by at least once.
I have lost count of how many times I've been there. This place hits the trifecta. Perfect scores for food, atmosphere, and service. Truly an experience worth coming back to over and over again.
The food and the drinks worthy of a michelin star. There hasn't been a single time that the food didn't go above and beyond.
The atmosphere and the most amazing the views of Miami never get old.
Last but not least. The service is always amazing. The staff really seem to love their job and it shows in their welcoming and upbeat attitude.
In fact the courses are very interesting and tasty. Noisy place if the noisy company happens so it's difficult to communicate at the table. Rich wine list with top range from various countries for which daunting prices (Sassicaia at $ 490 and even Napa wines from $ 250 up) for which the target settles at 48 euros the bottle and 14 $ byte the glass
Horrible!!!!! Service is awful!! The food comes in extremely small portions. Your paying for nothing basically. Didn t even taste good!! Only reason I gave it one star is because of the view because that was magnificent! But besides the view there s nothing else to this place!!!
Restaurant on the water. Great atmosphere, good food and service
Excellent view of the city accompanied by good dishes.
I have lived in Miami most of my life, and this is the first time I visit the Rusty Pelican. It is right off the water, so right away the view is spectacular. The atmosphere is elegant but not pretentious, and the staff is friendly from greeting to end. Our waiter took good care of us, and was attentive to our every need. It was our anniversary and my husband's birthday, so we were unexpectedly spoiled! First he brought out a delicious dessert for my husband, and when we finished that he brought us champaign for an anniversary toast. And of course the food was unique and delicious. They really exceeded all expectations, and we look forward to returning.
Nice place to have a first date meals are alittle high but the veiw is Beauitful
Be careful!!! The worst experience I had at a restaurant. The quality of the food is mediocre to say the least. The charged my credit card 3 times for the food bill. Its been almost 2 weeks and no refund to my credit card for $1,500 in charges. The accountant lady who is in charge of the refunds has a nasty attitude. Nobody in the restaurant has taken responsibility about this. I'm filing a dispute as we speak with amex.
First time trying Halibut and it was good. Sunflower Seed Crusted Halibut is worth a try. Great location and amazing views as well.
Spectacular view, good food and correct price. Very friendly staff
They offered me a type of meat and it was not available and finally they served me another claiming that it was the one requested
The best view of Miami
In a very nice restaurant
A Miami Must-See
Beautiful view but noisy, slow service and chairs need urgent recushioning. Delicious Biscayne lime pie.
Excellent food and service all the way around. The grilled octopus was one of the best I've had. Oysters were fresh and delicious Short Rib empanadas amazing.
Pork, Lobster, Halibut and Sea Bass for entrees. Not one complaint and nothing but empty plates in the end.
Great views of the Miami skyline. Would have given five stars if not for the valet parking fee which didn't seem right to me. There was nothing else to do there except for the restaurant. And we couldn't park the car ourselves, it was valet only. Oh well, it was well worth the visit. A must try.
Love going here for happy hour to enjoy the amazing view, good food and drinks but the service needs some major improvement. Too many employees to have to wait for a long time to be helped or to constantly be having to flag someone down to get your order, specially when they weren't even that full. The service is the only thing that needs a major change.
The evening started out with the hostess ignoring us and unable to find our reservation. After I pulled it up for her on my phone, she says yeah I already found it and proceeded to ignore us for 10 minutes. We were not given a wine menu and after asking the waiter, he returned 20 minutes later with the menu. The bread came AFTER our meal after watching every other table receive their bread. We had to ask the waiter twice before it even came.
The portions are small, overpriced but great quality food. The wines are priced nearly double their actual value. Yes you can t beat the view. The view however is tainted by people smoking cigarettes outside over people trying to have dinner.
Overall, I won t be returning to this restaurant for dinner ever again. I would recommend this place for a happy hour, but think there are much better restaurants for special occasions with better service and bigger portions with equally great tasting food.
Excellent food! Great customer service! I am so happy to see this place brought back and the menu is getting even better! The grilled octopus was exceptional. But not much can beat the view from the patio. It s a must for a romantic date night.
If you come to Miami you have to dine here. The food is very inexpensive taking into account the great view that the restaurant offers.
I give this a solid C. Not a C+, not a C - , just a C. Drinks were ok. Meal was less than stellar. Service and view amazing. I expected more.
Atmosphere was great. Service was good. Food was less than mediocre. This is definitely a place that you're paying for the view and not great food. They bring you some jalapeno honey cornbread with butter, it was really good and the best thing we ate that night. We originally ordered calamari for an appetizer then both order the lobster and shrimp risotto. Appetizer came out with the food and wasn't crispy and kinda bland. The lobster tail was extremely overcooked to the point it was just extremely mushy lobster. Risotto lacked any kind of flavor or seasoning. Neither of us could eat it and sent it back. Manager was gracious enough to offer us something different. I ordered the whole crispy snapper and my boyfriend order the filet. Beautiful presentation on the snapper, but again, not crispy and lacking and flavor or seasoning. Boyfriend's filet was cooked well, but nothing he couldn't get at any other restaurant. Overall not impressed with any of the food, but the view is amazing!
One star for location. One for the drinks and one for the service. Place is reeeeaalllllyyyyy nice and so is the staff. Sit outdoors if you can. And drinks were good. Moscow mule and mojitos are fire.
Food was terrible. From the cornbread they serve, which was super hard and stale. We Got the plate that you can kind of share cu it brings a bit of everything. Shrimp and lobster risotto was cold and bland. All I ate were the shrimp, and one bite of the lobster. The cut of meat was also cold and not to our order. The fries were super greasy, clearly frozen. The orzo that came with the fish was also terribly bland and the fish was the only thing that was hot on our plate!!!
I would never go here if I am truly hungry. Maybe for happy hour/drinks and appetizers. Oysters to share or something but not to actually eat.
90% of the food was left on the table. The manager did comp 50$ off our tab
Food was great, but the service was even better! They had an excellent wait staff that truly worked together as a team. Requests were brought to the table immediately and the attentiveness given to me and my guest was well above par! The Rusty Pelican has a nice environment and is a pleasure to dine at.
The food was excellent as well as the service, and the view of Miami's skyline is priceless.
Great service and quality. The atmosphere is pleasant and well structured. Highlight for the view of the city of Miami.
This was an amazing dining experience with an even more incredible atmosphere! Thanks to Douglas for being the best server and Go Pack Go!
Very nice place to dine outside with incredible view of Miami Beach!
First, the wonderful view of the skyscrapers of Miami, a special place to share a business lunch or a romantic dinner, the very complete menu and the varied wine list, the delicious cocktails, the customer service was very good, we recommend 100% it is very calm and elegant the atmosphere. First of all, the wonderful view of the Miami skyscrapers, a special place to share a business lunch or a romantic dinner, the very complete menu and the very varied wine list, the delicious cocktails, the customer service was very good, we recommend it 100% the atmosphere is very quiet and elegant.
Nice view
Foods ok
Nice place, beautiful view !!! Delicious food, friendly staff !!!
Fantastic location, fabulous food and great service. What more can you ask for,
View amazing... beautiful scenery. Brunch was good. Had the steak, eggs and pancakes with unlimited mimosas. Server was very nice. Went on Valentine's Day and was not rushed out the restaurant not once.
Spent my last day of vacation sick from eating here. Wait staff was not pleasant, order was delivered wrong, and believe salmon was not fresh.
Absolute best restaurant in Miami. The food was amazing and the staff made me feel at home. I'm definitely coming back again.
Amazing view. Horrible service.
Been here two times, love sitting outside. But if this restaurant was on an ordinary place on a normal street it would have shut down a while ago.
Waiters are slow and takes 15 min to wait for a drink and 15min to wait for chopsticks for the sushi that had been sitting on the table
Check the menu before going, we weren't impressed when we sat down. Left not 10 minutes later, still had to pay $6 for valet even though we didn't patronize them. Needless to say, won't be back when I'm in town.
The food was delicious and the view is simply amazing. We were here on fourth of July and we were able to see all of the great fireworks. Everything was great. I would recommend this too anybody!
Amazing food.
High cost but amazing views.
Service was good.
The pink sushi rolls were some of the best sushi I have ever eaten in my life.
9.5 out of 10 would recommend and would eat there again.
About 100 per person.
The only complaint I'd have were the 2 women doing coke in a stall next to me in the bathroom. But this is maimi so I guess one expects clowns to clown.
Went there for brunch. Great food, unique cocktails including 4 varieties of bottomless mimosas. All this right on the water.
We were attended by Miss Cinthia. Very attentive and loving, a spectacular service with the best recommendations. We rate your work 5 stars. I definitely recommend it if you want the best service in the place.
Fantastic place, fantastic view. The only one place. Thank you for the ospitaliy
Good service here. The food is really good and not pricy at all. For the luxury setting and the view the Rusty Pelican very reasonably priced. The view of the Miami skyline is spectacular
beautiful place but was very disappointed to find a long black hair in my food, what was more disappointing was management did no apologize. They took it off my bill but did not even acknowledge it happened. disappointed in my server and management.
Had drinks and appetizers before heading to the airport. Cocktails were amazing (their interpretation of a gin and tonic was delicious) View of the Miami skyline was beautiful. Parking could be a challenge during busy times, but we were able to find a spot at 2pm.
Went there for brunch. The crusted French toast was very good and the portions are a good size.
Had an amazing dinner at Rusty pelican last weekend. Great job with social distancing (thank you!) felt safe. Kiki my server was the bomb...great suggestions all night. Management super friendly. Definitely will return! Thank you!
The food was delicious, the view is amazing but being my first time there I expected way better service for a 50$ tip.
The pic below is the octopus.
Another great lunch at the Rusty Pelican, never fails to impress especially sitting outside in the sun with beautiful views.
Very good attention but the food was not 5 stars.
Average what you spend per person over $ 100
The food is delicious, fantastic view. I love this place one of my favorites
The food was great. Loved the energy, options for seating, the whole ambiance was really chill, for an evening on the water. Great view of the city! And everything is well priced. I will definitely go back!
Excellent everything ... Good attention, Gourmet Food, Excellent View.
Went to wedding...great view. Decent food at this place...solid place
The only good thing is the view, the rest is super bad, it is a bad restaurant with a nice view, there are better places, the chairs and the tables the super cheap atmosphere. The prices are not consistent with the place. There are better options, don't come!
If you're hungry, stop by Burger King to fill up. I keep my Cuban food.
I had read a good review in this restaurant. Since I was nearby the location, I visited the place. I tried their food and I was amazed at the tastes that I enjoyed it a lot. I will now have a place to go for celebrations.
I m a rusty pelican costumer for years ,the food and the View was awesome but I gave the 5 stars because Rafael the manager today begins as a waiter and always he gave me and my family the best service ever thank Rafael .
Great place to take in happy hour and enjoy the view of Miami across the bay. Staff are friendly and attentive. When we were there a dolphin swam by. Lots of boat traffic included two guys in a small boat that were having continued engine troubles. Lots of pulling to get it started but eventually they got going. Parking is valet, although the two days we went, the valet was not there so we parked for free.
A great place to go to in Miami if you are celebrating a birthday or going on a date. Beautiful views. The food is also very good. Recommend the lamb app and short ribs empanadas ( order The Orange drink with it). All the entrees I am sure are great. I ordered the scallops. Overall definitely five stars to the service including the host giving me a window seat because it was my birthday ; and for the ambiance and the delicious food.
