The food was not at all as expected, they had already told me about the place and they told me that the food did not agree to the price yesterday I went and decided to try, I feel that I voted the money for nothing I was satisfied, the food was normal as a restaurant in the suburbs, for terminal, the lousy service the waiter came 3 times to the table, without water and to top it off hot the water ... the view very nice .. but the food and the lousy service ...

An amazing dining experience - we were visiting the US for our honeymoon and traveled down to Miami for a few nights. This restaurant was just perfect as it takes you out of the hustle and bustle of the centre and gives you the amazing views of the Miami cityscape! Our waiter was friendly and even though seemed pretty new to the job was attentive and polite. The food itself was amazing! My husband had the chicken which was sublime and myself the scallops which were cooked to perfection. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a special restaurant for a special occasion or celebration.

Dispite being very busy the waiter was still able to give us great service. The foid was delicious and the view of downtown miami was spectacular.

For this particular event (7/4), it is a buffet banquet style. The food is excellent, and the service is on point! It has an amazing view of the city of Miami from across the water! Definitely worth your money!

AMAZING! Food was wonderful, even better than the breathtaking view. Service was superb!

Our waiter Roberto was so great. He did a great job in making sure we had a great time and made sure my allergy concerns were carefully addressed with the cook. We got married at Rusty Pelican in 2018 so it was great to see and enjoy the food there again.

Garcon Ricardo very good. Very cool drinks. Altral top !!! Good music. Worth eating is drinking at the bar or outside. I recommend arriving at 7 PM, as you can see the sunset and the city lights coming on. Show.

always loved the newport beach CA location so stopped in on a quiet Monday night, the service was superior, had the surf turf loved everything. Location is dreamy

For Miami, this is definitely Mediocre food and mediocre service. If you were a tourist I d recommend this place. Good view. Service is slow, the outdoor seating area is understaffed. Doesn t have any fans or anything to create a cooler environment. Could also change the umbrellas according to the location of the sun.

I been going to Rusty Pelican for years and the last two times the food was very bad

This restaurant was on my top five , my family love to go there and enjoy the food and Miami views
I hope the service and food change and we can continue enjoy this place in the future

The view is what you are paying for and I will say it is fantastic. If that is what you want, go at sunset so you get to see the day and night view of Miami. That s pretty much where it ends. For a high end restaurant the service was lacking. Table of 4. The bread they brought was good but very small. Asked for a second helping. Never came. We ordered 2 drinks before our food order. Took a while. When the food came we reordered a second round of drinks, they finally came after we were completely done with our meal. The food was decent but nothing to rave about especially considering the price. To sum it up, view 5 stars, service 2 stars, food 3-3.5 stars, value 2 stars.

The young girl who receives the customer at the door and offers the table is not friendly at all. Quite the opposite. The place being empty, 9 pm when it closes at 11 pm, we were denied a table overlooking the bay, all of which was reserved. The rest of the super gentle waiters and manager offered us a better location and yet the girl returned to try to block our best option.
If it were for her I do not go anymore, but surely as it was with us it will be with everyone and capable that they already expelled her. So I will keep going because the rest of the staff is exquisite, the food acceptable, the beauty of the place impressive.
If you remove the young lady who receives clients at the main door, would be excelent.

Horrible place. Don't go. We were treated so badly at the main door that we turned around and went to another place with nice service. Special mention to the supervisor, a really unpleasant guy who doesn't know how to treat customers

Beautiful water dining and views of Miami to see whole you eat. I suggest getting there a little before sunset so you can watch it transform from day to night while enjoying dinner.

Rusty Pelican is a beautiful seaside jewel. Outdoor seating provides a spectacular view. The staff is friendly and very professional. The food was excellent except for the Grilled Octopus which was noticeably salty.

You can't beat that view. Happy Hour is a decent value, but bring your patience, as the friendly servers often struggle to keep up.

My family and I use to come here all the time. Last year we stopped coming because of the bad costumer service, wait time, etc... Today only made me realize we made the right decision to stop coming here. We had a reservation at 2:45 and when we arrived at 2:35 we were told we would still have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Unfortunately I don't think we will come back any time soon.

this is one of the best places in Miami! It's been around forever for a reason, they're the best.

This is at a marina place , near jet skies and boats. Bus stop right outside which we took back to hotel ( free bus rides right now) Not bad at all. Check this place out.

Lovely dinner last Sunday, sushi, mussels to start, sushi was divine. Nice menu, and service impeccable, thanks George and Robert! And of course the view, Miami in all her glory

Last night we were in the restaurant and the view of the city was very nice.
The dinner was very rich, we really liked the risotto, the scallops very delicious and the tuna very well.
The desserts there are none to highlight.
The truth is we are South American and we are not used to tip 18% or more.
We decided to give the 10% that is the custom in our country and the waiter got angry and treated us badly.
We travel around the world and we see that in Europe there is no tip, in Australia very little in South America 10% but in the United States it is the most expensive in the world.

Really upscale restaurant. Service is really fast and amazing... You better to take skyline/ocean view seats which is outside. I enjoyed the food and drinks. If you want to bring your date or partner to some nice restaurant this is the place. Lots of seafood options,if you are a vegan or vegetarian it's a big no no. Love this place and views

The food and staff is amazing. The crab was sliced open already and the signature sauce that came with it was remarkable. The staff is highly attentive and friendly. Get dessert. It's totally worth every penny.

What you are paying for is the location. Sure, they service might be nice as well but you go to a restaurant to eat too. And the food is simply not worth the money unfortunately. Very great location for a romantic occasion though!

Not very good .. they take time to bring the food .. the lobster arrived cold ... I asked for the meat for my son well cooked and it did not arrive as I asked ... I will not return .. poor presentation of the monitor, More

Excellent food and service, amazing views, mandatory valet, business casual dress code.

The best views of the Miami skyline. Sit on the patio or by the windows. Great dishes are the calamari, salmon, snapper, and branzino. The starter cornbread is great too. Make sure you join the loyalty program.

Very disappointing experience! My husband made reservations for my birthday and made sure he let them know it was my birthday. When we got there it seemed like it was just open sitting and we did not even have a reservation. Service was very poor, food was beyond disappointing specially for the price you pay. I had to send back my steak because it had no flavor and it seemed like it was steamed. Our server not even once mentioned happy birthday or anything, and even when my husband told him that we were about to step out to take a picture he did not offer to take it for us and just took our card to make sure we were paying our bill. Will definitely not go back to this place even though it has a nice view of Miami totally not worth the time or money to go here!

This brunch experience is totally worth it with a beautiful view. The Biscayne Burger is now among my top 3 burgers in Miami, the Crab Cake Benedict is beautiful, and the Burrata and Tomato is pretty unique. And the complimentary corn bread is absolutely delicious! The prices aren't too bad, approximately $32/person including tax and tip for all of the above food split between 2 people. Service was very friendly and attentive. I recommend making a reservation on weekends as it can get very busy! Uber/Lyft is probably your best bet getting here.

one of the best Biscayne Bay views, the bar offers happy hours with good tapas and drinks, I like the servers there. Parking mainly valet. A little expensive though.

Beautiful Views. Had an event there so did not eat in the restaurant. But the views are worth a restaurant visit for a special date.

Insane view of Miami and amazing food! Definitely recommend booking in advance, especially if you want a table outside with the view. The food and drinks are great, will definitely go again!

We went here for a family dinner while visiting Miami. The restaurant is large and tastefully designed. The staff are so friendly, especially our waiter Jose who made us laugh all night and was very knowledgeable about the food. The food itself was superb. We can't wait to come back!

Valet parking only. Some idiot ran our battery down so our car is completely dead after a lovely 2 hr event. Valet are jerks but event was wonderful. Don't leave your car with these fools. Park before you get to restarant.

Nicely flavored foods from unique recipes only found at Rusty Pelican. Every seat allows you to enjoy the beautiful waterfront view. A great place to go anytime.

5 of us had apps and dinner. Our night was outstanding. Robert B was simply an amazing waiter. He knew the menu and all ingredients in the meals like the back of his hand. The octopus app and spider roll with lamp apps where soooo good. The meals outstanding if they have a meal with the baby roasted carrots get it

We attended a function for an airline and headed down for dinner afterwards! The view was fantastic! We really wanted to sit outside by a fire pit but those seats were taken. We didn t have a reservation but they were very kind and were able to seat us straight away. I ordered oysters which were beautifully presented and corvina. My husband ordered branzino and it tasted yummy also! I tasted our mate s crab cake and it also was very very flavorful. The service was nice the atmosphere was great. I would definitely return but with a reservation so we can sit by the fire pit looking over the water!!

BE CARFEUL WITH THE PARKING LOT. We had dinner reservation at 8pm and parked our car 2 spots away from the Rusty Pelican sign in the parking lot. When we returned to the car, the wheels were locked and we had to paid $89 after a long wait to be able to go home. We were explained that parking lot to the left of the sign belongs to an adjacent marina and parking was allowed by permit only. We explained that from that particular parking spot there were no visible sign ( there were in signs in the opposite side of the streets) and it was a reasonable expectation that using the restaurant parking when we were so close to the restaurant signage. Terrible experience.
