However, the food is not up to the prices.

Beautiful venue for a wedding. Food was mediocre. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was pasta. Pasta is such an easy dish I don't know how they got it wrong. And the lady over my sister's wedding was completely rude. My sister being the bride was stressed out about her attitude. I don't appreciate it at all. You pay an extreme amount for a wedding to be treated poorly. (( Bar tender was lovely, and so were the waiters))

Back to Rusty Pelican after 10 years and family and I very impress wirh the reno around the restautrant and Key Biscayne

It is one of the best places in Miami .... Those who say that the service is very slow is because they do not know how to eat and have a good time ... they go out to fill their bellies and go to the house ... better than ballan to a pizzeria ok

I blame you for the Miami Heat losing LeBron. You allowed Dan Gilbert to come have a private dinner with LBJ in your restaurant and steal him from Miami! I will never eat here again and would encourage locals to do the same.

Wonderful wonderful place! Food was fantastic! We ordered Sea Bass and Snapper! Sea Bass may have been the best fish I've ever eaten! Also ordered some spicy empanadas for an app that were amazing! The house bread was a spicy corn bread with honey, butter, and salt on the side. Ordered the lemon basil gin and tonic and a blossom bay cocktail, both were delicious!

however, if you don't valet park your car it is a hike
to the entrance. they block all the nearby parking spaces
for the valet. so wear your hiking boots

My boyfriend and I ate here on a Thursday around 6pm. The restaurant was empty and we still had to wait. My boyfriend asked if they offered burgers, our waiter said no and then we saw burgers being served to the table next to us. The food wasn't bad, but the service wasn't good.

The view of Brickell landscape is great and definitely worth the visit. Food is okish and service tends to be a little on the show side but waists were always very nice with us.

The new look is fantastic and I love the new menu items. The view has always been terrific. The service is good at lunch time as well. I would certainly recommend.

Purchased on Groupon to eat there, drove 2hrs to go eat there come to find out they are closed from renovations. Why allowed to purchase on Groupon knowing very well they are not open.

We planned to come here for a Birthday Celebration, I had chosen the restaurant and made all the arrangements. When making the reservation I asked was the restaurant close to Fontainebleau Miami, the hotel where we were staying I was told it was very close just a short car ride. There were 7 of us so we planned to Uber. It was not at all close to the hotel! It was a 50$ trip and totally unexpected. When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated quickly which was great but things quickly when down hill from there! We waited for almost 20 minutes before we recieived a glass of water! finally we ordered after 40 minutes! We asked for bread and was told it was baking we were told this for another 35 minutes! Reservation time was 630 it was now 8pm! We were all starving and I felt so horrible that this was supposed to be a fabulous BDAY celebration dinner and it was ruined by such horrible service! We recieved our appetizer at 840! Our appetizer which was a simple shrimp cocktail! I was so furious! The waiter new we had been waiting a ridiculous amount of time and was truly avoiding our table! At 930 our entries came! I have to say that all the food was absolutely delicious but the waiting and horrible service were so upsetting it was hard to enjoy the food! we finally left the restaurant at 1050! Love the view Love the food but horrible disorganized service and treatment by wait staff! Obviously there is a problem with kitchen staff as well as the wait was simply horrible!

Very disappointed with the service, it took over 40 minutes for the waitress to even come to our table to refill our drinks. And considering how much you pay at this restaurant you would expect the service to be great. Will not be returning

The experience was absolutely terrible. I planned a proposal at Hobie beach just across from the restaurant, and I thought the rusty pelican would be a delicious dinner with a beautiful view- we got neither. The reservation was made a month in advance with details about the special celebration. Upon arriving, the hostess was very rude and couldn t care less about the engagement. She let us know that outside seating would be an hour wait, which I understood, so I let her know we would be ok with sitting inside as long as we were seated next to a window because this was a special celebration. Needless to say we waited about a half an hour and we were not seated next to a window. Actually, to add insult to injury, we were seated next to a very large, loud family that clearly came from the beach prior and had a bit too much to drink. They were up from their seats and causing a ruckus the whole time and no one told them a thing. Oh and our server couldn t care less about the engagement. Additionally, they were out of both of their specialty drinks for two.

Now the food... appetizers weren t terrible, but nothing special. The meat in the empanadas was dry and the lobster roll was just okay. We got the rusty pelican board for two. Nothing came out very hot. We ordered the steak medium rare and it came out well done, so that had to be sent back and it still wasn t right. The snapper and the lobster were also overcooked. Probably the driest fish I ve ever had. Honestly, you can count on a better prepared steak and fish from Flanigan s. This was embarrassing. The only star item was the cold risotto. I am so disappointed with the whole experience.

As a local, I really should ve known better. There are so many restaurants that are infinitely better for the same price.

The service was great and staff was very courteous and the views were great. We were, however, very dissatisfied with the quality of the food we received. For the prices charged, we expected at the very least, consistency in taste and quality. The ceviche looked and tasted like it had been in the fridge for too long (dried food surface). Same with the nigiri, had to wash it down with water. The clam appetizer was so extremely salty, we had to return it. The waiter mentioned their surf and turf special (lobster and steak), so we took a chance on that. Sadly, the tiny steak was bordering room temperature and the lobster was rather small and unimpressive. The real slap was being charged $80 for something I wouldn't have paid $30 at Red Lobster. On the flip side, the stone crab was decent, but it's kind of hard to mess something that doesn't require much kitchen preparation. At the end, the manager tried to make up for it by buying us a round of drinks, but after spending over $250 for a mediocre meal, the sentiment was lost entirely. Really sad, considering the high expectations we had upon arrival.

My family and I use to come here all the time. Last year we stopped coming because of the bad costumer service, wait time, etc... Today only made me realize we made the right decision to stop coming here. We had a reservation at 2:45 and when we arrived at 2:35 we were told we would still have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Unfortunately I don't think we will come back any time soon.

Horrible service vallet parked my friends car broke the window was very rude and short, denied that is was there fault when they are only supposed to park the car overall horrible experience wouldn't reccomend for anyone to waste their money here.

The shrimp tempura suchi with mango and pink rice is such a strange mix? But is ended up being the best tempura sushi I've ever had? It's just magic, this place is magic.

I went today for lunch to celebrate my 25th birthday with my dad. The service was absolutely outstanding one if the managers named Marc came to our table to welcome us he was fantastic our waiter Maurizio went above and beyond the birthday dessert was the best I've ever had and the Mojitos are as authentic as can be! Can't wait to return.

The food is absolutely delicious, the view of this restaurant is to die for! This location is perfect for an special event.

I have shared my horrible experiences on there site already. This place isn't worth your time and money. Go to McDonald's, you'll actually get what you pay for there.
