The hotel is very well located within walking distance of Khreshchatyk and the Republican Stadium, the staff speaks English, the breakfasts are very plentiful and tasty, the rooms are small but cozy and clean. Recommend as a business hotel ... relatively inexpensive.

It just good if you need place to sleep. All furniture is uncomfortable. In room you can find ant. Breakfast is good. Great location.

Interior is very old style and so small room. And price was not reasonable so i have changed to another hotel but I have left my mug cup, t shirt, and etc..and next morning and afternoon but they said..there has nothing we found..when i visited there to find my stuff but they told me that they will check the room and they will call me about my stuff but they did not call me nothing so i went back there to ask them about my stuff again..but they told me..nothing found. I have spend for taxi fare..go and back for 2times even..

Despite of small rooms they have a great city view you ll like if that is what you re looking for

If you get a room from top floors you can get a good city view. Just make sure telling them your window sees the city view not the stadium. Also nice staff and delicious breakfast. They offer you glass of champagne charge free. But they could have had better furniture in rooms. You can find a cheaper hotels for similar conditions but I don't regret staying there.

It turned out that I stayed in the "old" rooms, in those that have not yet begun repairs. But the rooms are very clean, towels, bedding - everything is neat.

Old style hotel. Very small room with 2 single beds crammed next to each other, barely leaving any walking space around them. Empty fridge, instead of a mini bar. Not possible to charge to the room the orders from room-service. Mediocre food in the restaurants. Although outside there were -12 degrees centigrade, the beer was warm! Not really a luxury hotel, not even close!

I would give it 3-4 stars because the room was much better than expected based on the overall look of the hotel and how the entrance/lobby, which are seriously outdated. But as this was one of their remodelled rooms (don't stay in the old ones), it was a pleasant surprise - especially the modern-looking bathroom. However, it all went downhill from there.

This hotel is very popular with large groups, often of sports teams, which means a packed reception at check-in and even more packed breakfast buffet. And worst of all, loud party people in the middle of the night. And the walls are quite thin, so you will hear hear EVERYTHING (yes, not only loud TV but also the girlfriends they bring to the rooms). So sleep, you will not in this hotel

Also, remember the nice, modern bathroom I mentioned at the beginning? The sink must have been clogged, as it remained full of water for several seconds even after the shortest use of the water faucet.

So overall this hotel is not a bad choice for groups, especially as they have many conference rooms, and the rooms are cheaper than President next door, but they not so good for couples or solo travelers. They definitely need to pay attention to some details.

A good inexpensive hotel in the heart of the city. Clean and comfortable.

I have stayed here on three occasions and I thought that this was a reasonably priced hotel. The staff were friendly and most were able to speak English. The only bad thing I encountered was a waiter whose look suggested I hadn't ordered enough food and wasn't particularly polite. The food in the restaurants is ok but it is better to eat elsewhere in the city or at the hotel next door.

Wifi was free and good enough to stream video and make Skype calls.

Should I find myself in Kiev again, it's likely I would stay here again.
