Bathrooms were as advertised: amazing for a rest stop. Male and female bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Gas reasonably priced and food options were great. Highly recommended.

We are from Texas and every time we are in Louisiana we stop by here. The pork roast in Sunday is to die for!

Buffet is pretty darn good. We went on Mother's Day, though, so the prices were higher and it was crazy busy! If you're driving by, I suggest you stop in and grab a bite.

Stopped as we were passing through ...Ate the boudin balls WITH CHEESE! Walked the dog, bathrooms very very clean and fed a family of 4 for under $10. In and out in 10 minutes or less.

This place is worth trying. They serve big portions for reasonable rates. Always clean and with great atmosphere. Would recommend to others.

I didn't eat but I went to black gold casino and hed drinks. I will tell you that you will never drink cheaper and in great compaany. I past through the restaurant and it smelled like heaven was being cooked in there...

Stopped here the other for a shrimp poboy and gumbo . Overall every thing was avg besides the gumbo, it wasn t good at all. Next time I m going to try the poboy with fries shrimp , the grill didn t have much flavor . The side of onion rings were perfect

Thursday nite is fried chicken on the buffet. So juicy and seasoned!

Buffet or order straight from the menu. Generous portions and food is well seasoned. Definitely worth the stop.

Got a DOT Inspection on the off ramp to Rascal's, received a fix it citation. Drove to the shop behind restaurant dropped of trailer got some gooood food there and got it back in the wind!

OMG the shrimp poboy will change your way of thinking. This is the PhD of shrimp poboys (piled higher and deeper). Seriously, just go get it.

One of my fav's in a tri-parish area ~ awesome food and great service is the norm for this restaurant, bank on it! Their fried chicken is so good you just can't stop!

Been here several times, but my all time favorite thing would have to be the cheeseburger with bacon, onions, and mushrooms. If you are looking for a good ole fashioned burger, this is the one for you. All the flavors come in at once and the smell alone will leave your mouth watering. If you come, you should try it.

This was my second visit. First time l had the sea food platter hard to mess up. This time l had a taste for gumbo.
I ordered the shrimp gumbo after questioning the waitress if the shrimp were pealed. I hate creol stews that take more time disassembling the ingredients than eating and enjoying plus it's kinda messy however this gumbo wasn't even close. Very commercial, big mama was nowhere near that kitchen.
The roux was thin no visable herbs or spices l would swear it came from a vendor in mix or frozen form just add water. A nice compliment of shrimp, served with white rice on the side and soft texas toast. It was eatable but bland and dissapointing If you've ever eaten in Noleans or in the quarter or homade you will understand. As far as im concerned a poor effort, stick with the fried platters.

Besides the food being out of this world and lots of it...the hostess and waitresses made you feel so welcome you thought you were family. We are planning to make that a regular stop. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

Clssic Cajun cuisine with variety of gumbo's, etoufee and yummy po'boys. Lightly breaded, not greasy, fried catfish and chicken are the best. Big portions plus lunch buffet.

Awesome and delightful food, I like the atmosphere the spot has, and the workers were kind. I will definitely visit here again.

To start because a businessman spend a lot of money and time to open that place they sell white young lady there that made me feel like I don't want to come back there anymore

Really great restaurant with large portions! Large truck parking also casino and store next door. I do believe everything closes at 10pm except the casino

Wow, perfect meal, perfect service!!... Phenomenal Sunday lunch experience! !

Food is actually really good, but staff have no concept of public safety. 90% of employees were not wearing masks even after being asked to-its mandated, after all. They instead chose to join their maskless friends in continuously pointing at our table. The remaining ones that did wear masks wore them covering their chins. Very effective against coronavirus. And you wonder why the numbers are so high in Louisiana.

This place is a must stop for anyone the food is beyond great I believe they could serve anything and it would be good the people are great too the south Louisiana accent is just to die for gotta stop

Very good. $10.99 shrimp po'boy and sweet potato fries. Huge portion - my husband and I shared.

Really good Sunday buffet. Fried chicken, pork roast in rich gravy, rice dressing, cornbread dressing, veggies, salad and soup bar, and the best bread pudding and banana pudding we've ever had. All for a reasonable price. I only wish we could have been there on Friday for the seafood buffet. I highly recommend!

The food is wonderful! Just wish they had oysters & crabs.

I ordered the crawfish fettuccine and it was amazing creamy goodness plenty of crawfish. And my husband got the seafood platter a favorite at the restaurant the catfish was awesome he loved every bit of it( I ate the catfish).

The overstuffed shrimp poboy is good and a lot of food the waitress are friendly
