Food, the people, and the location are amongst the best in SD!

Nice terrasse and pool with direct view on the Golf courts. The restaurant has one of the best burger in town. Try it out with a good lunch.

Beautiful lodge resort in Torrey Pines golf course in San Diego. Food is great and walking distance to famous Torrey Pines CC. Antique and classic interior finish will made my hearts warm and pleasant. Amazing place to visit with family or friends.

Beautiful resort with amazing views overlooking the golf course and the ocean. The restaurant A.R. Valentein is top notch. Wine experts, food experts, well trained staff, they have it all. The manager Jocelyn really know what she is doing!

If you are looking for a memorable dinner, check out this location. Go on a week night if you want to avoid the crowd.

An oasis of quiet amidst the chaos that is California. With the exception an occasional F-18 but I'm good with that lol.

Beautiful hotel with superb amenities. The grounds are very well maintained, the restaurants are tasty and the pool is great. It's very easy to rest and relax here.

Very nice hotel. A huge plant lovingly maintained. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It is paid attention to many details. Only the breakfast is a bit overpriced.

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights during the pandemic and were quite impresssed with the service and the lodge itself. Incredibly dedicated, polite and helpful staff. The two restaurants offered a variety of meals and the quality of food was absolutely outstanding. If you love to golf, this is the place for you to enjoy life for a few days.

Always a busy place for golfers and biotech executives alike. I love the outside sitting a the Grill where you get to see golfers practicing their shots.

We had lunch on the patio overlooking the pool and golf course. We were immediately seated and a team of servers attended our table. The food was prepared and delivered with great care. Fresh whole wheat or sourdough bread was offered by a roaming server. I had the Crushed Kale and Citrus Salad, it was perfection in every sense of the word. The moist and juicy Brick Chicken was thoughtfully seasoned and left you with a lingering mild heat. Once the meal was presented, the serving "team" refilled our beverages, then disappeared. We actually had to see the hostess in order to get our check so that we could close out. With team serving, someone still needs to be responsible for attending the the guests all the way to the end.

The Lodge and its restaurants are always our first choice for celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, etc.) or a staycation. Great location, friendly staff, delicious food and a classy but comfortable vibe.

We were here for our son's graduation from ucsd and we came in very unprepared. All the hotel staff were amazing in getting us where we needed to be and making sure we had everything we needed. From ordering flowers for us and making sure we were always heading in the right direction. They even made sure we took towels to the beach. We thank you and can not wait for our next trip!! The Semro's.

Went to meet family for lunch. The food was obviously delicious and the venue is beautiful. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We were there for a wedding. The venue was nice and clean with excellent service. Upon arriving to the ceremony, we were provided drinks. The bartender was friendly and cheerful. The fish provided at the wedding was okay. The actual fish was well cooked, however it was a bit bland. To counter that, the potatoes were overly salty.

The hotel room was nice and came with the standard commodities. The soaps and shampoos smelled really good (some sort of lemon grass scent!).

The restaurant downstairs was good. We had breakfast there and had a fruit filled French toast and a lemon flavored pancake. Someone else in our party had the omelette and it seemed pretty good. Usually places have the overly wet and gross omelettes but this one seemed very well made.

The staff up front was helpful and helped us and our friends sunglasses. They called house cleaning and eventually got us the lost sunglasses back.

Overall, good service, mostly good food, and great venue for a wedding.

My sister and I booked a room here for our parents 25th anniversary and we are so happy that we did! Our parents came back with only glowing things to say, they had the best experience. The staff was wonderful and made sure their stay was extra special with complimentary champagne and desserts and a personalized dinner menu congratulating them on their anniversary. Thank you so much Torrey Pines Lodge for making their 25th a memorable one!

This hotel is located on the Torrey Pines Golf Course where the US Open is held. The atmosphere is very good and the hospitality is great. A variety of events are available, and activities other than golf are also substantial.

I've eaten in the restaurant at The Lodge many times. It's a really gorgeous building for a special lunch or dinner. The restaurant is quite good and presentation is done with care.

Everything about this storied place is terrific. Fantastic Nouveau/Craftsman architecture and appointments. Service to match the historic vibe. A nice alternative to modern boutiques when you need a little taste of the way things used to be. Only thing keeping this place from a 5-star rating is the restaurant could use an update and the cocktails in the bar could also use a little modernizing.

We went to The Grill for restaurant week. The food was great and the portions very generous. Definitely recommend

Service was outstanding . Beds were amazingly comfortable. Too much outside noise (sirens, trolleys, etc.), but this is downtown CA so it's to be expected. My $23 chocolate raspberry martini was weak.

Every dish is thoughtfully curated and sourced here. Staff are experts. Setting is lovely - perfect for any special occasion. Delicious! Gracious and full of hospitality.

Beautiful lodge, very old school hunting feel like would find old guys in Safari hats with handlebar mustaches and double barreled hunting rifles hahaha, but it's amazingly beautiful and great staff and food, the course is great as well granted if you put your bag in the rough you'll lose it!

Place is about a 20 min ride from the airport. Very tentative staff when you arrive and the check in process was quick and easy. As you walk through the halls it has a very old hotel feel yet you can tell it's not really as old as it looks.

The rooms to have a wood accent. I think I was in the entry level room, but the bed was extremely comfortable with luxurious blankets.

Bathroom was a little let down due to the shower and tub being one in the same and the glass doors did a terrible job of holding the water in the tub. I needed 2 towels on the floor to catch all the water that escaped during a shower.

The exercise room was adequate and easy to get to across from the spa.

The facility itself is very well manicured with a gold coarse between the hotel and the ocean. They were setting up for a big golf tournament so unfortunately restricted the beautiful view.

World class, very attentive service. Totally felt safe thanks to all the covid-19 precautions in place.

Ate breakfast overlooking the pool. Just gorgeous. The food was not your usual breakfast fare. Menu items like spinach, apple and bran muffins tops with orange butter. Veal roast Benedict over crispy potatoes and hollandaise! Quite amazing

Place feels like home, love the real woodburning fireplace in the lobby. Cozy place and friendly staff!

We had breakfast at AR Valentien's. It was quite nice--the service was impeccable, the food was very good, and it was very reasonably priced for how luxurious it felt. I would definitely go back with family or people I want to impress. The interior was Craftsman style, very old-fashioned in terms of the deep cushions and opulent wood furnishings. The leather vests on the servers only adds to the feeling that you're in an old hunting lodge being well taken care of. You imagine that at any moment you might look over and see a group of retired bankers smoking cigars. It felt so lavish, yet comfortably familiar at the same time. We stayed for almost 3 hours over coffee and conversation. It was really great.

Simply amazing. Stayed three nights in the presidential suite. It was bigger than my house. Incredible view of the golf course and the water beyond. Relaxed at the pool and played a round of golf. Simple and elegant and incredibly kind staff.

I have been a guest at the Lodge twice, and both times my experience was great.

Views are amazing and so is the food and service! We had Alex serve us food and Paul is always so sweet welcoming us!
