Felt it was overpriced for the room. The construction happening next door didn't help. People were friendly.

Location is excellent, within walking distance of all the attractions of inner harbor. The staff is great and the room is lovely. My only complaint is the parking situation. You have to pay to park and it's 26 bucks if your there longer than three hours. If you go out a couple times a day that adds up.
Oh my goodness this was an amazing hotel! It was a nice bit of luxury on a very long road trip. Rooms are spacious, staff prompt and accommodating, and towles were amazing! Thank you Royal Sonesta for a great stay!
Great location, room, and service. This is what you want and get from Royal Sonesta. The room was fantastic and everyone in the hotel took great care of us. I would recommend. We were here for 3 nights. The Inner Harbor is across the street and Camden Yards is a few blocks in the other direction.
Very friendly and helpful! Great location and clean!
It's really a shame that the Inner Harbor is located in corrupt Baltimore. Tourism is what keeps this area hopping, but visitors are treated poorly. Parking tickets are given willy nilly. Disguised signage located in poorly lit areas at night, make it impossible to avoid. Likely never visit again. Too bad.
The employees, at every level, are very nice and super accommodating. Had a great stay while attending a conference there. The food they served was pretty fancy for me but my gosh was it delicious! The location is also great. Close to a lot of what the area has to offer.
Great service! Staff are super friendly and very helpful. $$$ for the room size and with no view.
Super close to the convention center and right across the National Aquarium! Amazing location.
I recommended the Intercontinental to friends who were coming in for a weekend. Although the location is perfect and the views are spectacular I would never recommend this hotel again. To begin with the spa was closed even though the website clearly stated it would be open. They did not receive clean towels during their stay even though they requested fresh ones. A wallet was stolen from the room and they were told by management that they were not going to fire the employee on duty over "something silly like this". They even suggested that perhaps one of the ladies in their party was the thief. Additionally, I parked my vehicle in their garage for one night and charged it on my card. Not only did they charge my friends for the car on their bill for three nights, they also charged my credit card for three nights as well. Never, ever again.
Great hotel, fantastic rates and really convenient location.
Very nice hotel, Staff was very helpful and courteous, always greeted with a smile no matter what
Nice clean and small its not New Orleabs but it will do had a concentration in lobby really loud and uncomfortable couldny hear checkin lady right in front u
Great hotel in the heart of inner harbor. Very good service.
The room was very nice; however they didn't put a fitted sheet on the bed and my husband had to flip the mattress
Stayed here for our wedding. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We were worried about parking but the valets out front were very helpful in explaining self parking though rates were typical for Baltimore inner harbor. Did not meet anyone in this hotel that was not happy and helpful.
The hotel is beautiful clean comfortable. I felt mis lead with some key things that I was looking for but I'm gonna cut them some slack because the tub in the premier room and hospitality of the staff was great.
I was met out front by the bellman. He was very helpful in directing me to the checkin as well as where to park. Very clean inside as well as the room.
Excellent stay. Building is aging, and maintenance has been deferred in some cases, but staff warm and hospitable.
Nice location in the harbor area. Very close to convention center. The room is a good size but the tub is a bit small.
Almost directly across the street from the Maryland Science Center, one of the nicest hotels on the Inner Harbor. Very short walk to restaurants and the aquarium as well. Bigger than average rooms (420 sqft compared to 280 at the next one over) Decent AAA discount. Very good in house restaurant with fabulous happy hour offerings. Self or valet parking option but both cost $$.
Rooms are fantastic. Very clean. Beautiful modern decor. However, breakfast is not included and is quite expensive AND mediocre.
I will say that the room and the stay itself warrants less than 4 stars. For staying in a Premier Suite, at almost $300 a night, I expected a cleaner and more put together room, with better attention to details like burnt out bulbs, cracked paint and water-damaged cabinets. An uneven bed that needed to be remade by my wife and I before we could sleep in it added to the frustrations. After a fitful night of poor sleep, I was ready to write off the whole night with disappointment.
But, as we were checking out, in a feat of truly excellent, 11th-Hour customer service, Mr. Ramond Sneed salvaged our experience. He was sensitive to our having had a poor stay, encouraged us in the future to make them aware early so that they could attempt to fix the problems. His understanding and kind words after a rough night ensured that we will at least give Royal Sonesta, if not the Harbor Court Baltimore, another shot in the future. Thank you, Ramond.
Never stayed, but it's a very convenient place to park at the Baltimore inner harbor; close to the science center and the aquarium.
Room not ready when I checked in at 3:40 pm. No one offered me a coupon for a drink or anything else while I waited for my room to be readied. Only one of the 4 electric outlets in the bathroom was working. Room with a view was a view of an interior courtyard. Only thing going for this room was convenience to the Inner Harbor and attractions nearby. Would not stay there again.
The food was great. Boullabais was perfectly cooked and not heavy handed. Kale salad was amazing. The staff were sweet but overstretched. Or waitress made some mistakes, but I'm pretty sure it was due to her having to cover to much ground. The ambience: think posh jungle library. Great overall experience.
Stopped in for brunch with wonderful bloody Marys. Most enjoyable!
Harbor view is non existent in room 312 in mid June. The trees across the street block the view. The receptacle s on the night stand (harbor side) didn t work. The bathroom had a convenient dispenser for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The gel was empty and was eventually filled. The receptacle s weren t repaired even though maintenance indicated they were fixed. I wouldn t book a room at this hotel again. On a good note, Bryan at the front desk is an asset to your hotel.
To your response: Room next to me had the same complaint, no view. The guest in that room had trouble with their door key and questioned me about the lack of a harbor view as well. You should go to room 312 and familiarize yourself with the tree growth to understand that there is NO VIEW of the harbor.
Wonderful hotel. Amazing location. Friendly staff. Great for families. We will book again when we visit Baltimore.
Enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was amazing. I will definatley come back! Again and again.
Perfect hotel for a business or family trip. We got a room in the 7th floor and could see the sunrise at the harbor (although we didn't pay for a good view). The rooms are clean, maybe a little worn. Staff is friendly and you have many food options close to it. Also the convention center is a 5 minute walk away. A little cafe with excellent Italian coffee was our choice for having breakfast. Best price/value deal so far in Baltimore for us.
Looked nice from the outside. Very close to lots of great fun at the harbor including the national aquarium and the Maryland science center.
Our staff was wonderful. The staff were very friendly. And the accommodations and the view was amazing.
Very nice place! Close to many restaurants. So i didnt have to drive alot unless I really needed to. The water is there, which was nice. the customer service was good. Very nice ppl who greeted me each time and opened and closed doors for me. very nice. I did not appreciate the $26 parking fee per day at alll.
Dated hotel, but great location and service. Their package with the aquarium is a great deal. Room service breakfast was a large portion, tasty, and a fair price.
The view feom the hotel is amazing. Its rigjt in the harbor. We had our companh annual event at Royal Sonesta Baltimore and we could not be happier. Their hall is huge. Highly recommend to stay there for a night. The servicd is awesome.
The staff were very friendly and the room was clean with an amazing view of the harbor. We had no issues with our stay at all and will definitely be returning in the future.
Set in the heart of Baltimore, with amazing views over the harbour this large hotel provides a lot. The lobby staff are super friendly and very helpful, the reception team also were very welcoming and attentive. The room was palatial and had a great bathroom.
The pool was a bit tired and aged at the edges but clean and regularly maintained. The let down was the bar and restaurant which was underwhelming and slow. If you have a choice and want something quick try the coffee shop on the ground floor where it's quick and easy.
We parked in their lot while we went to the science center across the street
It has very good view but it has a little dust in the room as well.
Fantastic hotel, came for a wedding, no complaints whatsoever.
Hotel is showing some age from the yrs but still one of the best in Balmer. The bar lighting reminds me of a classroom. If these guys dont get a dimmer u will experience the brightest bar in America! Need some better mgmt here but all and all still a solid spot.
Loved Everything About It. Attentive Staff. VERY Clean. Great Location. Just cross the street and your at the water. Very Safe Location compared to many other hotels locations. Coming back next year. John Keenan Drexel Hill Pa.
So far an F1 hr and room still not available and PARKING ticket didn't work 2nd F
This is a Nice quite hotel no damages to walls or any furniture and Fixtures. All room Amenities work. Plus each time you enter the hotel it always smells great. The Pool area is clean and quite. The Front desk Agent (Michelle) provided Exceptional Customer service she made my Birthday very special and I will be Most definitely booking this hotel again.
Great room with affordable prices, a nice view, and a good area.
Beautiful hotel, friendly and attentive staff. Clean!
just went for drinks and apps, awesome service and food
We stayed here for our anniversary and we LOVED LOVED it! The hotel was beautiful, room was clean and staff were very friendly. We are looking forward to staying here again. The only thing I didn't like was the $200 hold they had to put on my card. But they released it once we checked out.
Great room with a view of the harbor! Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent and the service was great. Highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to Baltimore.
Beautiful hotel with a fantastic and friendly staff.
Great rooms and staff, but skip the restraunt inside because of slow service
I attended a graduation at this hotel, and the ceremony and food were absolutely fabulous. The staff was very nice and directed us well.
View was beautiful but outlets were on only one side of the large room, there was some kind of discharge on one of the decorative pillows, the room temp didn t stay steady, and when I called about an hour after I left the hotel for a pair of shoes I d left in my room they said they hadn t seen them for days. Days? Because I d just checked out!
So beautiful. Gas lamps outside, heated salt water pool inside. Luxurious.
At Inner Harbor, a short walk to everything there! Comfortable, larger hotel, no free breakfast.
We waited nearly 45 minutes to check in. At 6pm on a Saturday they have only one customer service rep working, including for answering calls and checking in guests. Can you believe that!? The room was dated and not high end at all. No art on the walls and cheesy furniture. There were shampoo dispensers in the shower for christ sakes, like what you see in a sleazy roadside motel... How this hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel is beyond me. I've stayed in hotels 1/4 the cost that were miles above what the Royal Sonesta delivered.
If you look through the reviews you'll find quite a lot saying the rooms are dated and cheap. The manager always responds that their stay must have been a while ago because theyve been through a renovation. My stay was on 9/26/20 and it's still indeed very dated. Room 754.
Beautiful hotel, perfect view of the Baltimore Harbor from the 6th floor harbor view rooms, HUGE workout area, and a tennis court on the roof.
Stayed for our wedding night. Our suite was great, hotel staff were beyond accommodating, and our guests were very happy.
Great rooftop wedding venue, very friendly staff throughout
So I'm a customer here at the royal sonestra. MY WIFE, son and i just had dinner from the explorer restaurant and chef Bryant wowed us with his performance in the kitchen... he really showed his craft and love in for cooking... we'd definitely would come back for a stay at the royal sonestra, even if it's just to eat from the explorer restaurant with Chef Bryant front and center... Thank you Chef Bryant... i would like to also thank Ms.Sharrah. The hospitality from Ms. Sharrah was awesome... she was inviting, knowledgeable and patient. She memorized our large order without incident . With that being said I give them a standing ovation.GREAT TEAM WORK YOU GUYS...
Stayed in a harbor view room. Attended a holiday party over two nights. The sonesta staff was gracious and very accommodating. The company will be returning.
This is the worst experience I have ever had. I will never be staying at this hotel ever again and suggest no one else to stay there. The customer service was absolutely horrendous. I called after the day of check out to see if I left anything in the room. The only number that is available to call is an 800 number that directs me to a hotel service. Not only did I get put on hold for over 4 minutes but the guy asked for all my hotel information to just say that I have to call the hotel... He transfers me over to the hotel to be put on hold again for over 5 minutes just to go through the process again. This is poor customer service and I advise everyone to not stay at this hotel ever.
I hardly write any reviews. But I dont want others waste money and metal stress by having bad experience in this hotel.
Had multiple experience in 4 stars hotels in Baltimore just for different adventure and this is the worst one. Not sure how this one is rated as a AAA Four Diamond hotel based on service levels.
Small thing can make a big different:
- Doesn't meet cleaning standard: Example having hair on the toilet cover seat (the attached picture). As a 4-stars hotel. It should be spotless, especially during this pandemic.
- The assets are outdated: The toilet seat is worn out (see the picture). The carpet is buckling. The refrigerator looks like from 80th. Well I expect higher than this for the high-end hotel.
- Poor customer service: Booked for room with the Lee Street View and they gave me a Courtyard view (feel like the brick wall view as the attached picture). Well I am not trying to be difficult but the receptionist should give me a heads-up on the room availability before giving me the key. I am okay for the change, just don't give me a surprise.
Maybe I was unlucky to get this kind of room and service, not sure about others. From my perspective, I highly suggest you to go for other one, or the one next door (Hyatt). Same location but better class, service as well as room quality.
I had my wedding at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore and it was fantastic. The staff was very nice and accommadated all of the little requests we had
Good rooms, bad view (construction view of another building complex across the road). They gave me a room that had an interconnection door but was locked with someone who had a small kid, so every time the kid cries, we had to get up. They should have either given us a room with no interconnection so we were not disturbed by the child crying or they should have informed us in advance that we have a small child in the room next door
