Lovely place to visit. Has many different gardens on display. Has many natives planted. Very well laid out. Has children's playground. For a small cost there's a bus that takes you around the grounds. Once you pay you can ride this bus a few times. The tour comes with a talk. Very worth a visit. Can take a picnic lunch or buy your lunch.

A 1.8km walk turned into a 5.5km walk because so many paths aren't signposted and the cute little outposts that I'm guessing were once looked after are now in such a state of disrepair that even if they weren't covered in masses of spider webs, they wouldn't be safe to sit and have a rest in.
Wallabies are cute at least.

Terrific place. Gardens and water spaces are well worth a visit. There is a trolley bus that runs every 25 min with various stops to get off a view the surroundings. Nice cafe and gift shop. It is quite a long walk in from car park to the centre if elderly. Perhaps ring ahead and check if there is a visitor wheel chair.

Beautiful garden for family picnic and and any small social celebration. Water ways attractive for kids. Good for walk around the lake and bush. If you wanna know about some plants, i am sure you will find rare plants. There is nice restaurant available, good for breakfast, lunch or even Sunday morning breakfast with your love bird.

Amazing garden! Not many people would think of this botanical garden when you re thinking of Cranbourne & honestly it is a must to see. Located a couple minutes from the shopping centre I d definitely pay this place a visit if I were ever close by.

Spacious garden and full of flowers.

Spacious garden and full of flowers.
We were there on december. It was a bit hot. There are not many place to hide from the sun. But there is a small stream where kids can be play with water.
The garden comes with many special trees and plants. There are many bottle trees here. Flowers are colorful and well integrated into surrounding.
The drawback come from the way to get the garden. It is actually located in a rural area. You have to drive through narrow and rough surface road.
I believe that this garden will please you and your family!

I was amazed at how these gardens have matured, having not seen them for about 15-20 years!. Quite spectacular and something not to be missed. They are comprised of a number of themes and it takes several hours just to take it all in. After seeing the official Australian Gardens we walked one of the bush trails on which there are a number of small lakes - also very worthwhile.

Really lovely, wide open natural space for the kids to run around and appreciate australian natives.

Love the water feature (bring spare clothes and a towel as it s somewhat unavoidable) playground is adorable and shaded.

Would haven given 5 stars, however the cafe staff could do with a bit of customer service training and the layout could be re-jigged. When it s busy, as the POS is near the entrance/exit. It clogs up and is hard to get through. A few times food hasn t been up to standard (burnt) and advised staff, however nothing was done about it and staff were rather complacent.
Service at the cafe is fast however.

It wasn't the greatest of days weather wise. There were plenty of signs notifying of track closures due to fire hazard conditions, which was helpful. Pleasant enough and we managed to have the playground to ourselves which allowed for us to act like big kids.

A nice, long walk in the fresh air with so many interesting plants to see. The displays are interesting & the 'hills' give great viewing across the landscaping. Would not recommend visiting on a hot day. There is a cafe & gift shop at the entrance & a kiosk at the far end of the gardens.

We walked around in the bush part of the park on the hiking trails and saw three wallabies, two echidnas and tons of birds. Great nature walk - and a great place for amateur animal snappers to get the chance to practice. (Naturally, it helps if you are patient and quiet while walking.) Please note: pets are prohibited.

Each season offers a varietal offering of blooms and photo opportunities. A pleasant waking experience with an optional cart train available for the less agile. Best to take your own thermos and picnic lunch unless you want the more expensive cafe option onsite. The gift shop has an interesting array of products that on the whole are reasonably priced. Plenty of parking and good toilet facilities. A hidden gem. Free entry.

Sensational experience for anyone with even the slightest interest in Australian flora. Set up for the enthusiast and the mildly curious alike. One warning, you will very likely want to return again and again. A very special place.

Absolutely beautiful place for a coffee and to also view the gardens in all its glory.

It is also a brilliant place to take your mountain bike for an easy ride along the tracks around the gardens too! A perfect place for the family and the kids. As well as the young at heart

Great gardens well planned out and compacts heaps of displays in such a small space. Tip if you are walking take the right hand path from the information centre it is downhill then the other side is slightly uphill. Found the arid garden interesting as are the water features and small offshoot gardens.

There really isn't much that can be said
It's better than the mount Annan botanic gardens that's for sure
May be smaller but it has fitted lots of native plants into such a small area

An incredible place of desert native plants well set out. Plants generally labelled such as the experimental espalier snow gum in the photo. Birds everywhere. Great views. Cafe was fine for coffee and lunch. Took heaps of photos and paths were great for kids and strollers and wheel chairs. A pay for shuttle is available for folks if too hot. Various directly events are always on - see photos. What a great way to learn about Australian desert plants!

Enjoyed our day out. Well maintained grounds. Plenty of different walks for all levels of fitness. Lots of shelter and picnic spaces. Free Entry. Good COVID-19 protocols. Took the "golf cart bus" tour with commentary. Very informative. Recommended for a visit.
