This is a wonderful place to visit any time thru the year. An amazing layout across many acres featuring hundreds of native plants and trees. A great place for the whole family

Great place the kids to run and play. The "rock pool" is very nice and the kids loved it!! Very good access for prams and strollers, plenty of parking. Overall a great afternoon
A high quality place to visit. Well planned and organised and very well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful and good facilities kept in a very clean condition.
I really like this place because of its beautiful trail and park, it's cafe and shop, the nature there is just amazing. I definitely recommend going there with your whole family.
Awesome gardens. Could have spent hours if we were better prepared with the kids. Blossoming seasons would be amazing here !!
Good place for a weekend getaway. Peaceful with a very nice collection of flora. Plan for a picnic here
I have visited here many times and there is always something new to see. Different plants flower at different times and contrast well against the many scenic backgrounds. It is a wonderland for photographers and gardeners.
Love coming here with my family. My toddler enjoys paddling in the water.
Wonderful place. Great for kids. Great for ideas. Lovely help and advice.
Liked it. Nice place to visit. Nice picnic areas...
People think Cranbourne they think drugs and crime. Not this place, this would have to be as stunning if not more stunning than the Botanical Gardens in the city. The sheer size of the place is huge, with so much fascinating plant and wildlife to explore. Great for the kids, and yummy food/coffee at the cafe too. Very friendly staff.
must go. The government spends a lot of money on expensive locations. Tickets are free. Very famous
Love the place. Sometimes they are doing plant sale with good price and nice plant. May need a well functioned playground just a suggestion.
Amazing place .
I'm a local and take my kids there 2 to 3 times a week..
Awesome place for a bushwalk
A beautiful park worth seeing. Especially by foreigners. There is no such vegetation in Europe.
Very peaceful place to visit. Great local area. Also there is a nice cafe & gift shop there too.
Beautiful place to visit.
Cafe has delicious scones!!!
Great place for some peace and quiet in the midst of the Cranbourne hustle and bustle
The kiosk sells the same food as the cafe, which is rather pointless. It should instead sell hot food, which neither the cafe nor the kiosk does. The park itself is great, lots to walk and see. By the way, if Google tells you to take Grant St and Laurie Cleary Lane, don't go that way. There's a gate blocking access halfway through. Head south on M420 and turn right onto Ballarto Rd instead.
Beautiful gardens, water features, pathways and walks. Good selection of food. Good public amenities.
Lots to see in the main area. Km of walking tracks and several playgrounds.
Beautiful View. Never seen such a beautiful and peaceful place ever. Awesome
I think this stunning garden is one of Victoria's most precious areas of native bushlands. It showcases native plants in settings that reflect the true essence of Australians landscape. Here you can explore, walk, ride, picnic and play. While you are in there please obey the rules. Visitor center provides an information service, tour bookings, umbrella hire, wheelchair hire, toilets, Cafe and the gift shop. This garden open daily 9am-5pm. There is a garden explore and it is an open-air motorised people mover and has one wheel chair capacity.
It is a beautiful display of gardens in the main part but I love the bush walking tracks. Highly recommend!
Excellent day out Beautiful gardens. Well displayed and organised
Amazing variety of native plants from across Australia. The garden also has some very nice bushlands that are well worth exploring, especially for birders.
Beautiful place, definitely worthwhile walking around. They also have a tour bus that tales you around the garden.
How amazing is it that we have this beautiful treasure in Victoria...and that it is free?!! Fantastic for the kids...love their waterplay and kids garden areas.
Surprised by the layout. Very will done.
Peaceful place.
Had a lovely afternoon here. Quite a different kind of garden - arid and Australian. But still very interesting and beautiful. As we were wandering around we came across some beanbags in the backyard section. It was heaven - chilling and chatting in beanbags while looking at the beautiful view. And tipped off with a cafe with a lovely view!
Beautiful gardens and great for kids, with playgrounds and an area for kids to swim and splash around.
Nice place to understand the biodiversity of the different Australian regions.
The Ambiance of the gardens and cafe are amazing. I have a wonderfully time every visit. The Explorer is a worth while trip to understand more about the artistic designs within. We ordered kids meals and Beef Burgers. 10/10 thank you!
Beautiful place to visit! The gardens are incredibly spacious, with stunning landscapes and Australian flora. We were able to navigate two prams through each attraction with no hassle, and our one year old loved the specially designed sandpit! We had a delicious coffee and food from the cafe too. It was such a peaceful and serene atmosphere, we will definitely be back frequently!
Wonderful gardens, lots to look at and do.
Cafe has great food. Well priced aswel
Lovely gardens all laid out very well so you can have a wander round them all. There are stepping stones on water which the kids will love to have a wander through.
Awesome place for a stroll with a loved one by yourself or with friends.
Gardens are huge, diverse & very interesting with lots of group activities.
Beautiful Place We Loved, can bring family here really enjoy Places Gold 999
Great place to visit, it's like you're in the desert. Grab a coffee and at the Cafe and wander around the grounds.
Interesting gardens to visit. The theme is Australian Native plants and Indigenous Dreamtime stories and imagery. While this provides lots of interest, there isn't much shade, so it isn't really the place you would go for picnics - more for walking around.
Great walk, beautiful surroundings, good coffee too
Gorgeous gardens and really special for Victoria as its much more central Australian in style
Amazing place to see Australian trees, shrubs and other types. They do sell plants on a quarterly basis.
Beautoful gardens with so many lovley picnic spots and different sections even a little park for the kids! Free entry for walkers or if you want a bus tour that costs money but it wasnt needed it was a beautiful walk!
Fantastic place to enjoy with friends and family at the weekends
Well organized with beautiful landscapes
Parking is available near the entrance
No fees to enter and you may take a brochure to guide you across the park
It really deserves the visit
However the restaurants are too poor and need more improvement
Free entry. Pram and wheehlchair rentals are available for a deposit. For landscaping lovers it is a must see. It is a nice place with lots of plant varieties and gardening ideas. Arrived a bit late, so didn't have enough time to stroll at a quiet pace. The lookout has a good view. There are many snake warning signs, so if you go there on a hot day be cautious. Lots of parking spaces too. The store and cafe were closing when we left, so can't provide a review.
Breathtaking place even in wet weather. Definitely will be back again on my next visit :)
Contemporary native Australian gardens. Not the most elegant compared to traditional style Botanic gardens in Aus but these give you a real understanding of the range of species available in the country.
Amazing variety and display of Australian native plants.
Beautiful garden that teaches you about the native Australian flora and how you can grow your own little native plants base heaven in your garden.
Great for family day out. Great walking tracks and you can bring a picnic and also amazing garden ideas. Staff are always amazing too.
Was a great place to be in nature this close to a city, it's wheelchair accessible, toilets and picnic tables scattered throughout with some free bbqs too. Lots of walking tracks and different areas to explore.
wonderful gardens with beautiful flowers and lot of bees
What a gorgeous place! We spent our time exploring the Australian Gardens which are an amazing landscaping feat. So wonderfully thought out with plenty to interest the whole family; Waterfalls, bridges, wading ponds, installations. Pram-friendly (ramps) and baby change tables available at the visitor centre. We'll be back!
Very good place to visit. Nice cafe, beautiful walk. Highly recommended.
Never been before butnit was just as amazing as rverybody had told me.
