Absolutely beautiful garden populated with Australian natives. The garden has a wonderful wading area and children's section as well as picnic areas to dine in.
The Boon Wurrung cafe served wonderful food as well. I'll definitely come by again.
Possibly the best botanical gardens in Victoria. So diverse and beautifully designed. Cranbourne Australian gardens always takes my breath away
Great to spend a few hours wandering. If you are after inspiration and ideas for your own garden, you can't go past this place.
Artificial garden is adding new features from central Australia and the outer bushland is for wildlife and natural wonders and lookouts. Cafe is pricy and so bring your own meals.
Very beautiful place for trekking or evening walk plus got small playground available for kids as well.
Staffed with friendly volunteers who will help you find your family history
Very nice landscaping. Australian native garden. Nice water features.
Best garden in the area with best structural designe
Amazing collection of Australian native plants in a magnificent landscaped setting. Allow most of the day to explore. Nice cafe and gift shop too.
Great place unwind and get intouch with nature at its beauty.
Great to get away from it all, especially on a drizzly morning.
It's a nice garden to come for a stroll. Great location for photos. It's advertised as an Australian Garden.
Amazing park. So much work and effort were put into it to preserve the Australian plants of all the various areas of the country.
Beautiful place for a walk through the gardens and a nice cafe as well .
It was an awesome experience filled with long lasting memories.
Very clean and one of the best places in Melbourne for nature lovers.
Award winning representation of wild Australia. Must-see.
Nice little walk out with the kids they loved finding a duck nest with 10 little ducklings in it
Plenty to do, recommend taking a tour the guide are great, kids love to play in the water as well
A beautiful and diverse garden landscape nestled away in the outer suburbs of Melbourne. A great day out for adults and kids alike.
Beautiful treasure..a great day out.. educational. Very friendly staff..
BBQ facilities in Stringy Bark Picnic area are pleasant with several tables and bench seating. Gas BBQs are free. Lots of bird life and bandicoots. Several easy walking tracks in a lovely bush land setting.
What a wonderful place to walk- in the bush ( Trig Track & other tracks off this one) with wallabies & koalas.
Nice food....touch pricey and sometimes a little difficult to grab a table....
Liked it better than the last time I went. Nice menu.
A nice place to go out to on a beautiful day. The landscaping was expertly done and the flora was so diverse.
Loved it great place to take kids as well . Cafe food lovely bit pricey
World class Botanic Gardens. The gift shop and cafes are almost as excellent as the gardens themselves.
As of December 2020 there is a coffee caravan operating, rather than the cafes.
Great place to visit-plenty to see & lots of good walks
Restaurant has good array of food
The Cranbourne Gardens are an unbelievable resource for Victorians.
The area is stunning beautiful; the planting and design inspirational for home gardeners.
The periodic plant sales a great opportunity to buy a wide range of native plants.
Wonderful, iconic gardens, unique and breathtaking in their indigenous beauty
Great place for the whole family. Been going there for years. Nice walking tracks and we always see native animals.
Great place to relax, the down side my 6 year old son wasn't allowed to ride his bike in the park otherwise it's a great place
Beautifully designed Australian gardens brimming with bird life.
Went there on a pretty miserable day as we were passing through. But can definitely see the potential if sunny - very impressive grounds.
A very informative and serene place to visit especially with kids!
Beautiful garden, unique plants, friendly and responsible staff, great coffee
An interesting place for people who like modern and unconventional gardens
The gardens are aesthetically stimulating. Walking tracks are good for exercise. Contains playground for kids. BOON WURRUNG cafe. Good amenities. Wheelchair accessible (most of it but not all of it) they have guided tours.
This is a relatively newly built garden. (few years)
It is already beautiful now as it is and is a must-visit place when in Melbourne, but in 30 years from now when the trees are older it will be a marvel.
When one finds the unexpected.our time there was a short visit but impressive enough for a return at a future date.
Lovely varied garden landscapes with all Australian plants.
Wonderful garden compositions. Very visually interesting and interactive!
Beautiful. Stunning. Lived the visit and look forward to returning
Fabulous we enjoyed our day of walking these beautiful gardens and also were lucky to see a koala
Wow! You need a week to get around this beautiful place
Beautiful place to visit and explore the nature of our country
Great for kids and adult. Staffs is super friendly. Kids love the water feature. Carpark plenty.
The Royal Botanic Garden Kelanbong has a variety of flowers in the garden, beautiful, bright, and bright...worthy of appreciation!
Handy brief escape to the bush . Tranquil , beautiful and relaxing gardens away from the city.Love it!
What a hidden gem this place is! First and foremost, the garden is varied, well kept and ever-changing. There's a lovely cafe right before you go in (the pie is homemade and delish) and to top it off it's free entry. For all those nature lovers, this place is also teeming with rare native animals.
Lovely day out! You can walk around at your own pace. It s pram friendly, and you can grab a coffee and something to eat in the cafe. Entry is free. It s kids friendly, there is a play area and if it s warm enough they can paddle in the water feature.
Very good, but if you are in a self propelled wheelchair, you'll need good shoulders
Beautifully designed architecture within an amazing native Australian garden. A huge contrast to the urban blight that is Cranbourne - just outside the garden gates.
Stunning garden. No entry fee, nicely laid out with many areas for everyone to admire. Has lots of play areas. Presents Australian nature in the most beautiful setting outside of natural habitat
Very good peace place
Peace and quiet
Children do enjoy and cafe is also available.
Fascinating display of indigenous plants in a very creative way.
Nice gardens and very kid friendly. The whole family enjoyed the playgrounds and walking trails. Very impressive, creative and peaceful.
Great place to see Australian native flora. Also a great place for photographers shooting macro and textures.
