Beutiful place with native plants, trees from all over Australia. You can see rocky red landscapes or artificial lakes sourrounded by colored gardens. Take your time to go with your family and enjoy a little paradise.

We went to the Woodlands Picnic Area, not the gardens themselves but with two young kids they weren't going to be that interested in the gardens. Saw a few wallabies and appreciated the shade over the tables.

This is one of the best places to experience the great outdoors and it's free! Surprisingly as big as the Royal Botanical Gardens Cranbourne is, there are many well laid out pathways leading to all round views. A great way to spend a couple of hours or at your own leisure just take your time. Facilities include a kiosk , cafeteria and gift shop.

There are lots of tracks to walk down and see beautiful scenery. There is a bus to take you around if you are unable to walk, or would like to see things from the bus. There are also wheelchairs to hire if needed. There is a lovely little cafe and a souvenir shop.

Much better than the ones in the city. The whole area is nicely landscaped, there are directional signs and _all the plants are signed_. This is a must for someone who can only tell a flower from a tree or a bush... sometimes.

Among the best in the world, great park for botany enthusiasts or just for a relaxed walk in the city. Very rich plant collection. Given the size, labeling could be improved as sometimes the same plant is planted opposite sides of the garden.

Walking through calming, peaceful gardens, observing the various plants species and how well they've thrived in that location. Helps with garden design, layout and just a damn good place to be. You'll not be disappointed.

Stunning gardens across a wide range of landscapes, featuring native plants, flowers and trees. There are even desertscapes, rivers and lakes.
The walking opportunities are quite extensive but easy to navigate on mostly flat terrain and shortcuts are available. Wheelchair and pram access is very easy.
One of Victoria's great parks!

Australia Garden is fantastic. Quite new in terms of a botanical garden, the areas are still filling out or being planted but it is still stunning. Has great water play area for kids to get their feet wet and bean bag area for relaxing and reading books. Volunteers avaliable to have a chat about plants you're interested in. Best of all its free! 30-40 min drive from inner Melbourne.

This was rubbish! There weren't even any royals or anything! There were just loads of flowers and stuff. I couldn't find the botanic anywhere! Like what even is this?? There were too many happy people about. I was hoping for a miserable Victorian scene but there wee only smiling faces
Disappointing

The Australian Garden within the Botanical Gardens...

The Australian Garden within the Botanical Gardens is an attraction not to be missed. Especially during spring, the flowers blossom is spectacular and the variety of plants is impressive. The gardens are beautifully designed, with trails, separate gardens and artificial lakes.
Definitely bring your kids here, but even on your own it's just nice.
And - it's free admission!
