Gardens are continuing to evolve and improve and are extremely well kept. The associated restaurant / cafe is mediocre at best and I would suggest packing a picnic lunch as a tastier and cheaper alternative.

Beautiful place to visit, had lunch there and was super tasty, fairly quick and well priced.
Had a lovely short walk around the gardens, will go again for a longer one to see it all more.
Great place to spend the afternoon :)

I love coming back often to the Australian Gardens because it is always changing. Flowering at different times /seasons.
I love sketching the trees, structures and buildings around the Gardens.
Very relaxing and a great cafe and gift shop.

Because the location is relatively far, there are not many tourists. There are a lot of punching shadows in the field.

Because of the distance from city there are few tourists. Many nice places inside for photos.

A vibrant botanical garden of native Australian plants with both natural and constructed wetlands, water features, decorative garden landscapes ideas etc. A good place for spotting birds and marsupials. I have seen echidna, bandicoot, bush mouse, wallaby and a diverse range of bird life. Wheelchair accessible and kids friendly. A great place to go for a stroll, bushwalking or visitors to learn about and enjoy Australian flora.

A most underrated botanical garden with a focus on Australian natives. It is beautifully laid out with facilities to spend the whole day there with friends or family with lots of kid friendly play areas.

It is definitely worth spending at least three hours wandering around however you'll find yourself coming back for a full day or more!

Is worth visiting.

Is worth visiting.

Has 2 different areas.

One of the areas is native bush tracks with a lookout.

The formal garden is.very large with a variety of pools.

You don't have to use the bus to travel around and you can just walk.

The kids (7 and 10) and I spent a couple of hours wandering around exploring the gardens, splashing in the water feature and taking photos. A really good spot to waste a few hours. Could do with expanding as its very popular and would justify more space.

This hidden gem, is tucked away in a part of the city that is off the normal Tourist trails.

The water feature, which is a wading pool is a usually a hit with the little ones.

Plan to spend at least an hour here.
