Great people very welcoming! Great shuttle surfaces, super clean very respectful will defiantly be coming back here!

Excellent location for people who arrive late to FLL airport, free transportation to and from hotel - Airport, for a budget hotel room has many perks like safe, coffee machine, iron, hair dryer etc, breakfast has room for improvement and free wifi is good

We arrived early and the young lady at the front desk, Amanda, helped us get our room ahead of time and gave us the option to hang out at the pool while storing our luggage. I was impressed at the fact that she gave us that option while other places I've gone to have told me to "go wait over there". I enjoyed her professionalism and hospitality. It was refreshing and our stay was pleasant. I would recommend this rodeway over all others and definitely ask for Amanda.

This motel is seedy with sketchy clientele. I booked through a 3rd party so I didn't know that I would get this hotel. Rooms weren't very clean. Motel is older an at night I didn't feel safe. My advice: spend a couple extra dollars and stay somewhere nicer.

I booked a day room here in March after a cruise for a family of 5 (We had a 7pm flight). The shuttle took about 1 hour to arrive at our ship. When we got to the hotel, a not-so-friendly lady checked-us in. We booked a 5pm shuttle to the airport and proceeded to our room. The room was ok and mostly clean. We did notice that it was dirty on the floor behind the toilet, which grossed us out a little bit. The grounds around the pool were beautiful, so this is where we spent most of our time. We took pictures and relaxed while waiting for our flight.This was much better than waiting at the airport. All in all, staying here was much better than waiting at the airport. If your expectations aren't too high, I believe that it is a good value, especially with the free shuttles.

When I started here last year the staff screwed up my reservation, I wrote a bad review, and then the owner tried to blackmail me. He was a grown man screaming and cursing at a young adult girl. I wouldn't ever recommend this place to anyone

We had a 12-hour layover in Fort Lauderdale and we rented a day room. It was okay for the $60 we paid

Room was like "wet" with humidity. Shuttle from the airport just cancelled without getting us. We had to rebook it. Shower curtain was pulled off and just thrown on the floor. Website and info in shuttle said breakfast started at 530, but it didn't until 630.

Great Clean Rooms! Loved the pool and restaurant attached had GREAT food and drinks!

Do not believe the hype. The have bugs. The staff is slow with services. Room has tile floors so it is cold, and the room had roaches. The room is not the most clean but it was comfortable for the stay. The noise level is heightened. Breakfast was an average breakfast. DO NOT book within hotel they will overcharge use a hotel site for the discounted price that it is worth. It was a fair stay, if I were low on funds I would stay again otherwise I would book elsewhere.

Pleasant housekeepers very, helpful to guest, buce people, the frint desk representative very unpleasant folks never even fake a smile and not helpful at all, very inpatient, breakfast folks tgat setup and assist breakfast very pleasant and nice

We're not impressed at all with suposed make over. Over priced. To get anywhere but there to eat you have to take expensive transportation that seem to hawk to customers. Make your own transportation arrangements.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Sure it isn t anything fancy, but it was very clean and the staff was super nice. It has a great bar attached that played live music on Saturday night. They have a great shuttle service for both the airport and cruise port. I would definitely stay here again when cruising out of Ft Lauderdale.

Cleanliness 100% very welcome, entrance only at 15:00, departure at 11:00, free parking, cold pool, weak breakfast, most liked the hotel.

It is good to stay at this hotel for their impressive way of taking care of guests. I was on my vacation with my friends at Fort Lauderdale and we're looking for a clean and nice place to stay so we could get to the cruise quite fresh. That's exactly what has happened and we were surprised to feel like we just woke up at our own place the other day :P The hotel really enfolds all you require for your stay. Not to mention intentionally, but just a little issue we had for limited time was the air condition of our room was making some noise that made us to think of calling someone from the management and that's what we did which took almost half hour to rectify the issue. Other then that, rest all was amazing at all. This hotel offers he best rate in town during the low season. Can't say anything about high season!
Overall this place was a nice experience to me and I would surely prefer to stay here again on my next vacation!

This is a great budget hotel near Fort Lauderdale and is great for cruises or airport runs. Rooms are clean with no roaches and the breakfast was actually more than the continental advertised with sausage and eggs. People are way too picky as it s a very clean budget hotel and it serves its purpose! This hotel should have higher ratings especially for a Rodeway Inn which are typically much lower end than this one. I also forgot to add that the on-site restaurant has great food and burgers.

This place wasn't what I expected. This was the best place for the lowest cost of the Choice Hotels. Beautiful rooms and convenient location. Staff was really nice, the restaurant nextdoor was awesome and the rate was on point. The downfalls were minimal and could be overlooked, so I won't go into them.

Nice place!! Has everything you need. Excellent service to and from the airport and the cruise port. They went above and beyond to make our stay top notch.

I tried to call multiple times without an answer, but once at Rodeway, I found it a very pleasant experience. The shuttles are definitely beat up, but still decent. The rooms are nice (although the grout was gross in the shower and the floors throughout are filthy even after being "cleaned"). The courtyard is pretty and the attached restaurant/bar was perfect for a late night bite.

Not a good place, extremely rude staff and they want a dollar for a paper receipt, I've been to hundreds of hotels, never been charged for a receipt

Really only had a drink, was a wonderful atmosphere and staff.

Nice room and great service but pest control should be the priority. Not a fan of roaches.

Nice rooms, nice sports bar inside, lots of security cameras. Not a bad stay for a short overnight stay. Would definitely go back. I didn't know they offered airport parking there too. I would of parked there instead but had already made recervations

Awful counter service, took over an hour to check in. Counter staff constantly arguing with each other with manager in office yelling at them to stop. Rooms very dated, but clean with a comfy bed. One redeeming feature is the shuttle service which was on time, free with friendly drivers. Marina 84, the attached sports bar had good food, but staff arguing with each other again! We had lunch and dinner there, beer nice and cold.

Post review comment - after reading the response from the owner I have to argue "well oiled machine" - NOT. Seriously if the owner is not going to take genuine feedback from customers and work on improving the service, then it is just another reason to not stay here!

Stayed overnight, great room. Delicious food at their restaurant. I was able to purchase wine for the cruise in their lobby. Very good experience!

I was staying Tuesday to Thursday and the hot water didn't work. It really upset me when I had a hard days work and they did nothing to help except hand out complaint forms

I previously left a review to which the owner responded and basically called me a liar. So here is another one listing more issues we have had.

First off, PROOF that we are actual customers so they can t lie and make it seem like we aren t. We were room Theurer, 2206. Staying on Oct 13th. First off, we had a 300$ charge that we had to report as fraud from the hotel, because they claimed it was never charged with them. So we had to deal with the credit card company because they wouldn t own up to something going on. Second, we left a curling iron and called and they said they had it, so I paid for it to be shipped, (it s a 200$ curling iron when I told the customer service manager this she said I must be very well off then. When it was a GIFT from my wife s mother.) I paid for it to be shipped through fedex and I called back 2 weeks later and they had the audacity to tell me that when I called last time I said it was broken you told us to throw it away. Really?!? Really?!? Why would I pay for shipping to ship it home then?! Then they refused to reimburse me for paying for shipping, because they LIED. They refused to own up to anything and were completely unprofessional and rude. Please, if you can go anywhere else, do it. They are not an honest location. Everything from the bottom to management is corrupt and will cover up lies to protect themselves.

What kind of response is that? You question the authenticity of how much I paid for the curling iron and then proceed to, after I have given you proof that I stayed, lie and say we never stayed.... Pathetic. Honestly pathetic. Never stay here, what a joke.

The hotel was nice and clean. Complimentary breakfast was ok (that's why it's four stars). No meat but they had waffles and that's all I needed. The restaurant was good too. The pool was outside of our room for easy access. I would definitely book again if I come back. They also had cool things to take pics with.

Upon checking in I was welcomed by a warm smile, easy check in, nice and polite staff working the front office they make you feel very welcomed. Walking into my room it smelled so fresh and clean! Beds are super soft plenty of fluffy pillows and the bathroom was stocked with extra towels. You can tell the cleaning staff does a thorough job. I did take a dip in the pool (it is heated by the way) was so refreshing on such a hot day! They also have a restaurant/bar in the front of the hotel, I had dinner there and shockingly food was amazing! Great prices and drinks are made perfectly good job bar tenders! Over all experience exceeded my expectations definitely don t judge a book by its cover with this Hotel!

Was not a good experience. Our party was split up with several of us staying six miles South in a Quality Inn. When I got home i found that I was charged twice by Rodeway for staying one night in a Quality Inn. I've made several calls to try to resolve this issue and have not had any success with the people that I have talked too.

When I walked in I had this terrible feeling of defeat just by the expensive look of this place. The manager Izzy came and introduced himself to me. He was friendly and had a bright and welcoming smile. He assured me that there was no need to frown. He and his desk receptionist Latoya and Tracy were more than able to accommodate my boyfriend and I. They gave us a beautiful room. This room was clean and was within our price range. My boyfriend and I felt a huge sense of relief and are thankful to Latoya, Tracy and Izzy that we have a decent and affordable place to lay our heads.

Checking in was friendly and very understanding at our group having 4 kids in need of naps. The room was clean, food at the bar delicious, and we loved the big shower (better for the kids). We would definitely recommend!

Staff at greeting desk unfriendly. The attaching restaurant the same, we were checking the scores on the TV and they we're opening in about 30 mins, the waitress turned off the TV . Felt like any questions we had we're not their priority. Not very customer oriented

Well worn older motel that is clean and well maintained. The place is busy with airport and cruise traffic. Their shuttle system works great. Beware that there are small extra charges for late chackout and late shuttle to cruise terminal. Staff is friendly and helpful. But desk is always busy. Their cash registers/ computers take "forever" to complete transactions.

Stayed at hotel because of shuttle from airport to hotel and hotel to port. Took over thirty minutes to get through on phone then told 45 minute wait at airport. Then told shuttle at 10:00. Waited over an hour and told not to ask when shuttle is coming. Worst service I have ever had. Spend $20 on Uber and avoid nonsense from hotel. If you want a hotel to waste your time this is it. Rude announcer for shuttle keeps saying wait here or wait there because can t get on ship while family sending pictures from on board.

Awesome little overnight before a cruise or flight out of FLL or MIA. Its been updated lately. Everyrhing is clean and new. Its a basic motel but we would stay here anytime all we needed to do is sleep. There is a nice looking pool and a restaurant on site.

The rooms was nice and clean but the breakfast isn't good at all..

Rooms have cold floors with no carpet. Management was very abrasive and not very customer service oriented.

Great hotel we stayed right after a crusie izzy the manager was very nice help with our bus tickets.

Shuttle from ship was fast and it was a Mercedes-Benz sprinter. Room was very clean and we were next to the pool.

Will stay next year for the free shuttle.

After paying 189.00 for a room I was not impressed at all. The good is that they have transportation from airport to the hotel.

The bad: The place is outdated, has First we wanted to go to the beach and we paid for it, however the driver was extremely rude at first as if I did something wrong cause the lady put on the ticket as the drop being at the cheesecake factory, we wanted to go to the beach where we could walk & shop & have a drink. He seemed very rude at first and turned to be helpful but his approach was poor at first which ruined our evening at first.
I was looking forward to a workout but found that the "fitness center" was 3 machines and no weights, little tiny room. Oh that was after the toilet flooded and I had to mop up water at 5:30am... so let's say we'll look around before we choose to stay here again....

Prefer a little better hospitality. It would be nice if things were promised were not so time restricted our you lose out. From the moment I came in this place looked like a mess. Poorly designed rooms. The carpet in my room smelled a little bit, had to open up my windows for a hour to get the smell away.

PESIMO .... On January 7 gave me a room when I opened was with wet towels and beds destendidas.
After they changed my room I found that there were hundreds of cockroaches on the floor of the room of all sizes and no person at the hotel came to check on our claims, at eleven o'clock they gave me the cards for another room that also had cockroaches and dirty envelopes

Very nice place! Very clean and the employees were very friendly!! Would stay again for sure!

I paid $80 for one night plus a surprise fee of $6 when I arrived at the counter. I waited over an hour for a shuttle at FLL and had to wait a long time as 3 hotel clerks were "serving" 1 guest. We later on went to the Marina 84 restaurant which also had a long wait time before you get to see your food. The rooms are clean but not pretty.

Just left the lady who claimed to be the manager was very rude and nasty.I didn't want the room because of her attitude. So my wife goes in behind me and she tells her she has no more rooms. People like this should not be allowed to represent your brand.

We arrived here with a 7 month old, previously called several times about the free shuttle. We expected to wait some time for the free shuttle and were completely open to that. We ended up waiting one hour and 25 minutes! The driver was nice but he did break our stroller. The actual stay was fine, but the customer service, the poor shuttle service, and the broker stroller is hard to deal with.

I m currently staying here for a week on a family vacation. I have an 18 month old baby with me. The room I was originally placed in was on the second floor in the front of the building. We had to Take an elevator or walk up sets of stairs to get to our room and then through a fitness center! and to top it off they ve been painting so we ve had to take numerous detours on top of the regular ones. ALSO, the room had no bath tub to bathe my child in... just a shower?! I talked to the front desk (they were very polite) they told me none of their rooms had bath tubs unless I wanted to pay 20$ plus tax A DAY for a room with a tub? Never stayed in a motel without a bathtub? Maybe this is new? Anyways, they were able to find us another room on the first floor... I accepted until I realized the only way I could get to my room was through the lobby.. which means I have to park on the side of the building (lucky if I find a spot) and walk completely around the building to get there. Just as much, if not more of an inconvenience with a child. This place is very large with plenty of rooms that seem so much more accessible than what I ve been offered. At this point I just want my money back and to stay anywhere else but here. I hope a manager sees this and helps resolve this issue. I m not one to complain but It s ruining my whole vacation.

Staff was friendly room smells like mold but was updated the room looks very nice but it did not smell very good bar restaurant is not clean and does not smell very good as well food is very overpriced for what you get 12.00 foot long hotdog fries are extra $....Posted review about 930pm then at 1045pm same day manager called me I did not ask to be called ... he then started arguing with me about my review... It is true that 6 days prior they did have a hurricane it was a Cat 3 wind when it arrived. The damages i took photos of are much older and mold like i smelled does not grow in 5 days NO WAY... I did use the shuttle getting to the port was fine nice van with AC getting back it took 40 minutes for the van to get to the port to get us from the time we called..Bottom line stay somewhere else.

People at front desk are not helpful and not friendly... I don t recommend this place at all ... don t ever leave any items there , u will never get it back

Friendly, albeit at the time very busy, staff. The newly renovated room was nice, king sized bed was super comfy, big jacuzzi tub was nice. Would stay here again.

If you don't want to sleep in past 8am this is the place to be, cause you'll be hearing 5 straight hours of this loud voice telling you 100% unnecessary information about the shuttle service that they explain when you check in and every time you walk by them, on top of the fact that the "free shuttle" they advertise is only free at 9am to the cruise ship port and you can't even start checking in for the cruises until at least noon sometimes 1, so to get there at a normal time you have to pay. Then the loud speaker system continues to explain the most useless information and just obnoxious, it's a shuttle service, we get it, not the ACT subject tests, do not stay at this motel, they then play the theme song from the lion King in between yelling into the intercom and it's still not even 9am.
UPDATE: 10 months later this place still sucks and so does the guy who posts replies to everyone making the lamest excuses ever

It was fine. People we're friendly and rooms were ok. A few bugs here and there and I wasn't comfortable taking a shower there but great if you just need a place to rest for the night. Breakfast is also included but it's mainly just waffles.

Great suite overall, included breakfast and airport shuttle. Service at attached bar was very poor (but there at least is an attached bar) , only room complain was the bathroom door opened inward which was very awkward because you couldn't easily open the door to get out or close it while your in the bathroom

The customer service and room size was quite acceptable given the price I paid. The restaurant was also quite nice and had good burgers. The breakfast service was also good. Furthermore, the shuttle to the airport was great. However, my only complaint is the extremely loud air conditioner which I had to turn off to sleep. This resulted in a hot and humid room which was a bit difficult to sleep in. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.

Friendly staff, rooms could use some cleaning. Nice bathrooms. Comfortable beds. The pillows were small but we're feathered and comfortable.

Great place to stay if you are going on a cruise. Park and stay at a reasonable price. Nice rooms and quiet. Free shuttle to and from the cruise port.
