Hotel was clean, check-in went smoothly, pool looked nice. Breakfast in the morning was chaotic and pretty cleaned out by the time we got there. Upon return from our cruise we waited 2.5 hours at the cruise port from the first call placed for a shuttle. Called 4 times and were told they were en route each time. We had family at the hotel and while on the phone with them and the hotel at the same time the employee told us a shuttle was leaving right then but our family member was standing in the shuttle area and could see there weren t even any shuttles to send. After finally getting a shuttle to the hotel we were offered $20 off the price of a day room or $10/person for shuttle service to the airport. Front desk staff was rude on the phone and again when we arrived before going to get the manager. The manager allowed us to store our bags in our families room and catch a free shuttle back to the airport.

If you are looking for something cozy for a night ...

If you are looking for something cozy for a night or two this is perfect. The bathroom is very nice, there is a microwave and a medium size refrigerator. The beds are also comfy and the room was very clean. Only bad part about it is The walls are paper thin so then I heard my neighbor sneeze. But, all in all very good hotel for the price.

Stopped here for a day use after taking a red eye ...

Stopped here for a day use after taking a red eye before the cruise, this place was AMAZING!!! They gave us an extra hour of sleep and there is a complimentary shuttle to the cruise port. We will DEFINITELY stay here over and over again!

I don't know where the pictures were taken but it was certainly not the place I saw when I arrived. When I arrived I was so amazed at what I was seeing I started to go back outside to check that I was actually at the Rodeway Inn. I couldn't tell where to go to check in because the front looks like the check out lanes in a convenient store.

Don't worry about thirst, they sell wine inside the lobby along with a variety of tee shirts and other souvenirs. So you can definitely get your drink on. The inside of this motel looks like a sleazy truck stop. The dark velvet/suede lobby furniture was dirty and greasy looking.

There was a sink leaning against the wall of one of the rooms. You had to cross through a shadowed covered area to get to the rooms on the back. (the laundry area maybe) There didn't appear to be security lights on the parking lots. I only noticed the outside scounces beside each door. I noticed a row of trailer trucks parked in the far side of the parking lot. (again giving the impression of being at a truck stop)

The room was dated but clean. The radio was blaring when I entered the room for who knows how long. This could clearly be heard before the door was even opened. This concerned me because if no one reported the noise from the radio then if I were assaulted in the parking lot I felt sure that this would not be heard or reported either.

The door didn't seem very secure after it was closed and I didn't feel safe staying here alone.

I immediately left and went down the street to the Bestwestern Plus.

Save your money.... there is a saying that you get what you pay for..... I didn't expect the same accomodations that I get when I book the Marriott.....I paid for a bed in a safe place...... I DID NOT GET WHAT I PAID FOR!!!!! AND... they charged $5 to my credit card... for what? I don't know.....
Save your money.... DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

I go to pull the cover back and flip over the pillows and there where Old blood stains. Room looked nice but getting bitten by bed bugs all night couldn t even sleep. With covid-19 going on you would think they would go an extra mile to keep everything extremely clean.

Are you guys kidding me. How could this hotel poss...

Are you guys kidding me. How could this hotel possibly have a positive review? I was overpriced, most likely because I payed with cash. I was charged $200.00 for one night--- !not $74.00!. When clearly the special was $250.00 for a three night stay. When I pointed out the price discrepancy the chubby front desk receptionist looked appalled and offended that I actually confronted her about it. The receptionist mentioned nothing of this to me. Afterwards, one of the managers escorted me to my room, welcomed himself inside mind you, and proceeded to ask me if I was a stripper (extremely disrespectful). When I said no, he said, "well a lot of strippers. who work the clubs on this strip, stay here." I found that extremely disrespectful to be asked that. After that he joked about coming to my room and "hanging out" later. I politely said NO. After that I was afraid to come out of my room and stayed in there the whole three nights. The staff was extremely rude, maybe because they saw a young girl by herself.
Also, I called the front desk to let them know if they could switch my room, because the curtains didn't enclose the entire window and didn't offer me the privacy I paid for. So they sent a staff member to fix it. When he came over to check it out, he looked at it, and said they're all like that there is nothing I can do, and left huffing and puffing.
Overall, it was a traumatizing stay, and I would never recommend it to anyone. I WILL NEVER STAY AT RODEWAY INN EVER AGAIN. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DON'T GO THERE.
Update to the owner response: Your allegations are wrong the manager never talked to me while I tried to resolve the situation about the room. In fact he followed me to my room AGAIN, and proceeded to ask me if something was wrong.
Management: You should take my review as a learning experience and improve your services for the next customer, instead of having the manager call me, as soon as I posted this asking me to take it down. I won't succumb to your harassment. I was only honest.

we stayed on 8-11 and 8-12 the 1st night the room was damp feeling and musty, we woke up with headaches and the floor covered in water in front of the door and the air conditioner. The lady at the front desk was very nice and immediately moved us to another room. We liked the new room much better It had a much nicer T V and felt less humid and wet I was surprised to see that there were no toiletries shampoo etc in the rooms. The coffee that was in the room was undrinkable. The breakfast offered was very lacking I only had coffee. my daughter had a stale pastry of some kind. there were none of the usual breakfast items usually seen in motels The pool looked nice the grounds were cute The restaurant was passable The service in the restaurant was excellent . All in all, good help but bad management evidently , We were not offered any kind of peace offering for having spent the first night in the damp and wet clammy room I would hesitate to recommend it. We will not stay there again

Booked last minute through Hotwire for after our cruise. So happy with our stay. Shuttle picked us up promptly from the cruise port when we got back. Great gift shop in lobby for snacks, souvenirs, and necessities too. Restaurant had good food. Free breakfast is always a bonus. Very clean and nice front desk staff. Would definitely stay again.

A cool and interesting hotel! Large clean rooms w more than adequate bathroom. Nice outdoor pool with sweet sunset view. Heard three different languages during my stay. Big refrigerator, microwave and coffee in the room. There's an attached restaurant and bar with really solid food, and reasonable prices. There was a live band playing the evening we arrived, which made for a great time for the whole family. I highly recommend this hotel to my business and vacation travelers.

Look, some issues were had and we were stuck without a room at 1:15 AM because evidently there was a glitch in the system that somehow allowed them to sell out and our reservation meant nothing.

Obviously I was very heated about this. After speaking with the GM about this the following week, he wanted to make it right and seemed rational and owned their mistake. I commend that type of action and appreciate him working to get my money back. I cannot comment on the rooms or stay because I did not stay there, but at least you know you will be staying at a hotel that gives a damn about what their customers think and will work to make it right if something goes wrong.

This is always a good go to hotel when cruising out of Fort Lauderdale. Free pick up from the airport and cruise port. We did the Day Room at the Rodeway Inn. Room was a normal size room and the cost was only $59.99 + taxes. We got off the Harmony of the Seas and was picked up by Rodeway and brought to the hotel around 9:45am. Got checked in with no problem and we got to enjoy the pool and room until 6pm. Front Desk verified when we needed to be taken to the airport and provided free transportation.

If you can find a deal, this hotel is nice for what it has to offer.

They are LIARS. I promise you, you will regret booking here. They are beyond criminal..

Absolutely atrocious. Literal criminals. Left a curling iron, called and they said they had it. Asked them to ship it and I will pay for it. Called and paid for the shipping and then check back 2 weeks later and now the curling iron is broke? And they threw it away? They have the audacity to tell me that i said not to ship it WHEN I PAID FOR THE SHIPPING. Now they say they don t have it. Then I call guess services which is an older lady talking over me telling me she has the phone call recorded where they are saying it was broke. Which never happened. And they said they have the phone call of me saying not to ship it. And when I asked for proof of that, she said she can t show me. She can t show me OUR conversation? I guarantee you someone took it home and they are covering it up. How does a curling iron break out of the blue?

Stay away. Please, please, please stay away. They are criminals and are extremely dishonest.

: yes I have been a customer. Room 2206 on 10/14. Quit trying to cover it up. You are all dishonest and should be ashamed of yourselves. What matters is that you lied about it.

This is not 5 star, but the service and attention ...

This is not 5 star, but the service and attention is 5 star!!!! Hotel has renovated the rooms. This is perfect for a quick night sleep, long-term parking and off to to your cruise or flight. You can't beat the convenience factor!!!
This is perfect and for that reason I give it 5 star. Every shuttle driver is courteous and attentive! Desk staff inviting!
The value for your dollar is more than worth it!

The first issue I had was to deal with the pool. The sign says open btwn 9am to 10pm. One night we had some loud noise coming from the pool at close to midnight. I called the front desk and they said the pool doesn't close at all and they have no security. I said why have a sign at all.
We went to the gift shop on our second day at around noon and the gift shop was closed. I asked the front desk when they would be open and they said tomorrow at 8am. I thought this was strange since there is no stores around and they would get a lot of business. Well we came on the third day and the fourth day and they were still closed all of those days. So the store was closed 3 days of the 5 days we were there. I find this totally unacceptable. Why have a gift shop if you can t buy from it.
The Continental breakfast was not up to standards. I have eaten at a lot of Continental breakfasts and they always have fruit. Also they didn't keep up on stocking the bagels and bread so they were out most of the time.
One day we took the shuttle to the water taxi and when we were done and coming home I tried calling the hotel to get a shuttle pick up. I called and the front desk put me on hold for 5 minutes and he kept coming back but not answering just checking the line the going on hold. Finally the call dropped. I kept on calling back and someone would answer the phone and not say anything and hang up. I kept on calling and was getting a busy signal or someone hanging up on me without saying anything. Also a few times I would call and as soon as someone answers I was put on hold without anyone talking. While I was on hold for the last time my wife called with her phone she received the front desk right away and we were finally able to get a shuttle pick up. He told me it would be about 40 minutes when the hotel is a lot closer than that. It took over an hour and a half from the time we called until the shuttle picked us up. We are from Canada so it cost a lot of money to use our phone.
One last issue was there was no cold water in the bathroom sink. I told this to the front desk and they had no answer or any solution to this problem.
You call yourself a 3 star hotel but the quality sure didn't show it here for us. We will not stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone.

We were told that a day rate was $69.99 and once we arrived they bumped the price up by $50. After calling the manager we got a compromise paying $109. We asked about extending check out and were told both when we called and when we paid at check in that we could extend the stay for $10 each hour. However when we decided to extend it the guy who talked to us both times before said that he told us we couldn't extend it because they were booked up. Lied straight to my face without flinching. We had three people in our groyp he talked to about extending the stay, never mentioning this option wad not available. Don't believe anything they say.

We absolutely told the person on the phone how many we had in the group and as I stated we talked to the staff about extending the time at check in. I would have understood if the staff said I'm sorry I didn't anticipate that we would have booked up and you are no longer able to extend the time but he said he previously told us that rooms were booked and time couldn't be extended, which was not true. Do with the info what you want. I don't usually find a reason to post because I am usually ok with service.

Breakfast is sub par. No bacon, eggs, or fruit. We had to have our room moved, because they put us in one that was missing half the shower door set up. Pretty pool area, and nice assortment of items and booze for sale at the front desk. Room is clean.

We needed a one night stay before our cruise.. This place was absolutely amazing.. The garden area was beautiful, clean, and a great place for the kiddos to play.. The room was VERY clean.. The staff is amazing.. We left our car parked there for 6 days and it was in the same shape when we left it.. The breakfast was good.. We ate supper at Marina 84 (the restaurant on site) it was AMAZING.. Shuttle to and from the port was quick and easy.. They definitely have it together here..

Rooms clean and good food in restaurant. The worst shuttle service making you wait 1.5 hrs for a ride from the airport. They say 10 minutes but mean hours! Called 5 times waiting at airport at 11:30pm -every time said 10 minutes! CAUTION TO ANYONE USING THEIR SHUTTLE SERVICE. MUCH EASIER TO USE A CAB LIKE OTHERS THAT NIGHT - MANY UNHAPPY PEOPLE

Perfect location, very convenient with compliment...

Perfect location, very convenient with complimentary shuttle to airport and cruise port. Beautiful courtyard with pool and palm trees. Spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable setting. Onsite restaurant and bar. Also nice restaurant/bar next door at Red Carpet Inn called "The Reef". Excellent fish and salads at both restaurants! Long term parking available on site for if you are going to a cruise.
