Excellent location, service and good food, we will repeat!
I love it. Still the touch or more of a grand hotel. Staff extremely courteous and friendly, in every area. Good food and an elegant ambience, which is not found everywhere on the island. I like to travel here and every time I relax wonderfully. Lots of regular guests, so you always see old friends.
Typically Riu Palace. Always a similar style, always perfect service, as expected and a great location. However, the audience is rather very solid, so generation 60+. Nice big room.

Great hotel, great service, great management, great location, only one thing is missing ..... we like to be active as a family and as long-term campers a little underchallenged when it comes to activities in the hotel itself. The house simply doesn't offer enough for that. But it is a dream to relax. The pools are clean and loungers under the great palm trees are a dream. The food is excellent, both the breakfast and the evening buffet. If you don't get your money's worth here, let alone complain about the variety and, as I've read myself, criticized the whole thing ..... well I don't know he's not from this planet. Clearly this hotel is not new and the decor is not the latest trend of the time. But very well cared for and sustainable. The service courteous and polite. And sorry for the naggers no understanding who is skeptical and wants to nag will find a reason everywhere. Will definitely recommend this hotel although the beach is unfortunately not in front of the door and Playa den Ingles is not what I had promised, but Maspalomas and Meloneras nit Faro are all the more beautiful
There are umpteen taxis in front of the hotel around the clock, which take me / us there comfortably for little money. And again, it should not be forgotten that this was once the stronghold of tourism on this island of Gran Canaria and still is. The south is important for the island and with its charm and the so-called small micro-climatic zones something very special, we would love to come back MFG the "BraZis" as a family
Wonderful hotel. Ambient and beautiful. Good view of the forest. Lovely garden meadow clean. Sea view. Order for sunbathing. Close to miss, but close to luck
Great staff, great food at half pension, lovely rooms, a real treasure, a world apart in tacky Playa del Ingles
Reception great, the room well old decoration but it is quite good. In my case with views of the Dunes of Maspalomas. The hotel is committed to the environment and if you want to change the sheets have to put a card on them and if you want to change the sheets you leave on the floor and ready. Food well with enough variety. And educated workers, quite attentive and very close with the clientele.
A palace on the return ... modernization and renovation work is needed .. too expensive
wonderful great hotel staff wonderful so is food hotel spotless fabulous.

Located directly overlooking the dunes, Hotel Riu Palace is a very Grand, Palatial building. I only had a short visit, but was very impressed with the standard of the decor. The staff were very efficient and courteous, I would highly recommend a visit.
All good All right! The food, the attentions of the waiters, in the reception of the hotel, those present for my mistress's birthday. A little noisy cleaning staff. Actually everything was enjoyed !!
Staff super attentive, friendly and close as in almost all Riu hotels. I loved!
We stayed here in July for the second time in a row, it was also an absolutely wonderful stay for 2 weeks, we both like this colonial style and are thrilled with an extensive service, certainly a Riu Palace Maspalomas More
Old France hotel.
Good welcome. Correct meal.
Two swimming pools. No animation. 1tennis.
Disadvantage 6 kms from the city center.
Great location and easy access to numerous landmarks, shopping centers, bars, restaurants of international cuisine and important locations! Friendly stuff, clean rooms, great variety of facilities for all types and tastes, followed by a unique and wonderful view of the Dunas de Maspalomas from wherever you are.
Very nice hotel with great service.
The view of the dunes and the sea is just really beautiful. In my opinion of the location and appearance of the building, the nicest hotel in Playa del Ingles.
I can only recommend!
A hotel with a lot of customer service, I loved the cleanliness and the workmanship of the hotel. Half board is ideal!
We were in the bar of the hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas Dunas, which is just before starting the mini desert of sand dunes, protected natural site of Gran Canaria, invited by a friend who was staying at the hotel. We were having a few drinks after a very good afternoon with a pleasant temperature, as always in the Canary Islands. The attention was great and the quality glasses, the prices, good, the typical hotel but nothing exorbitant.
Private pool for each room, restaurant with sea views, delicious food, 10 m from the beach for women and 200 m from the beach of meloneras. Very top. Very expensive. There are a few (I mean the one in the middle of the promenade) To guide you if you are not "forreti"
Stunning views of the dunes. Very clean hotel and attentive staff who are always happy to help.
Perfect hotel. Friendly service. Great view of the dunes.
We have been to Gran Canaria and plan next year our vacation there! Is there a kids disco on your system ???
Family trip, we loved the hotel, very well located, the cleanliness and maintenance of the gardens excellent. The buffet food both for breakfast and for quality, elaborate and varied dinner and its very polite and lovely workers, will return.
Great hotel
Room and restaurant very nice
What a treat - fabulous hotel - great staff - great food choice - spotlessly clean - big rooms with plenty if cupboard space and large balcony. Pool areas well maintained and a pleasure to spend ur days.
Staff really friendly but very professional and are a credit to Riu Hotels. We would definitely come back and would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a relaxing holiday.
Thank you Riu Hotels
Fantastic hotel. Excellent service and great location.
Great hotel with excellent views and friendly staff.
The most beautiful hotel location with views over the dunes to the sea. Very friendly staff and good selection of food. The interior of the rooms was a bit old. Nevertheless, I can recommend the hotel warmest.
Somewhat old-fashioned but good location ... But very far to the beach
great hotel that I recommend! we are going back this summer for the 3rd time! Spacious rooms, very friendly staff, excellent food, beautiful pools and views of the dunes, beautiful!
A real dream vacation for us. We would love to come back.
Looked very inviting. Unfortunately we were in the hotel across the street.
4-star hotel that deserves largely family-owned conveniently located near shopping centers and the sea. Food at will. impeccable cleanliness and accessible to the PMR pool for young and old
A very nice place with the flair of the big old hotels. I was only visiting friends and was helped with advice and action to solve a tricky situation. The pool area is very nicely designed and really invites you to relax. It is played live on the piano, subtly rustling as a pleasant background. I would also like to take a vacation here.
At the end of the complex you have a nice view of the dunes.
Fabulous hotel in a lovely position and excellent food, a hotel where you want to go back to again.
Positive experience. Organized, clean room, buffet for breakfast and dinner of quality and with a very wide choice of food. Only drinks are charged for dinner. Only fault I can find the pressure of the shower in the room. It offers many services, including swimming pool (beautiful, surrounded by many deckchairs and loungers, with the possibility of having a towel) and WiFi (free in the lobby, not in the room). Very friendly staff.
In the middle of June, just fantastic, everything was perfect !!!
So nice that I come back in September, but this time in Riu at Amadores;))
Always a great time in this great hotel. Good, if not brand new, food great
Everything is getting very old, beds primitive and the gruesome cloud blinds have been hanging for 30 years! The location is fantastic, the staff great, but the hotel urgently needs an update. There are better hotels for half the money. On top of that, a very old, retired audience, which is often very nagging!
Great place to be in Maspalomas, enjoy. I have never had a problem in this hotel.
Excellent treatment, staff, facilities, food and generally all good. It fails a little bit in the nocturnal performances. But in general EXCELLENT.
The location is superb. The service is very good. Good value for money
The guests' wishes are not taken into account.
I arrived this afternoon on 08/16/2020 and booked a single room because I know from my previous visit that they have a nice view and are located on the corner. My travel agency has specially noted my request. I am here for 4 weeks and on arrival I was given a double room for single use, with the worst view, actually no view on the first floor next to the tennis court. I didn't book that. The lady at the reception said there was nothing to be done and I now had a double room for myself. In these difficult times, when the hotel is certainly not fully booked, dealing with guests is a no go. I was looking forward to the single room on the front corner. Now in the farthest corner.
NOW COMES A BIG PRAISE to the hotel, they reacted immediately and today I got my single room with a fantastic view. Now nothing stands in the way of a dream stay for the next 4 weeks as far as the hotel is concerned. I also have to write about breakfast, which is really sensational now in the Corona time. You can get everything at the buffet yourself and there is really almost everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful, apart from yesterday's misery. But it was reacted quickly.
Thanks again
It is a cozy hotel with all the facilities that should be when it is rated as four star. The rooms are nice but little slide, especially the bathrooms which need a major renovation. The staff are of a high standard and meet the guests with a genuine smile.
Good hotel in a great location. Staff are great. Carpet throughout which limits noise, but the walls are thin so you can hear televisions etc
Fantastic hotel, with top service and lovely location.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful ..... movie stuff !!! Maybe someday I'll be able to put the money away to be a customer!
Absolute must to be pampered. A bit older crowd in general.
Very nice hotel and very clean. Superb breakfasts (buffet) as well as for dinner. Evening atmosphere guaranteed. 2 very pleasant swimming pools. Super friendly staff.
Great hotel area, very well maintained. Unfortunately we are very disappointed with the food
For the second time here and again absolutely thrilled, therefore 5 stars.
* friendly and professional service team!
* great room with a dream view over the dune to the sea!
* impeccable housekeeping!
* great selection at breakfast and dinner!
* we feel good all round!
Many thanks to the whole team at Riu Palace Maspalomas !!! :)
Great hotel .... great cafe ... you can use the main entrance of this hotel great to visit the dunes of Maspalomas. There is a sightseeing platform, an information office .... and free toilets .... these are important as there are no other toilets on the beach
A beautyful hotel in a lovely place with perfect service. We had a really great holiday week there and we will come back again for sure! Thank you, Rio!
A very elitistic hotel very close to dune of Maspalomas. Some rooms have a beautiful view to dunes. Restaurant with wonderful and delicious food. Every client have a designated table and hour, so is good to go there in time. Is one of the few hotel restaurants with people wearing elegant outfits. The pool outside is great, but could be a little much colder in comparising with other parts of the islands because of the wind from the dunes. Rooms are not very new, but are elegant. Very close is a supermarket, if you need something. Also, not too far away a comercial center.
Very nice place to visit. Very nice view and experience.
A bit pricy but totally worth it. I'm glad we chose this hotel for our stay in gran canaria.
Delicious food. Great location. Super kind staff and beautiful rooms. And it is only 2 min away from the best and most amazing views of the dunas
I will repeat if i come back to Gran Canaria, definetelly.
Is slowly getting old, water pressure bad, meat content low
Very nice hotel located directly on the dunes of Maspalomas. Staff very helpful and attentive. Plant with several pools.
High quality hotel. Versatile breakfast, great room, friendly staff and really good pool areas.
Hotel front desk representative very rude. I will not book another reservation again.
All in all, very good. Big buffet with a lot of choice and taste ok, but if you only booked breakfast you can buy a day ticket for 40 . The dunes right outside the door are the highlight, especially at night very chilled. The way to the beach on the thin is a bit exhausting but still takes only about 15min. What really bothers me EXTREMELY is that you can not smoke on your own balcony and every time you have to go down ... In the room there is a controllable air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The TV program is good, ca.15-20 German channels only the TV is a bit small but still in the frame.
Ingenious location. Not far to the beach and the party miles. Rather older audience. Hotel looks a bit sturdy. Not so suitable for young people
