I'm extremely disappointed with the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto. This hotel is nothing but a "brand" and nowhere near worth the money. The rooms are very bland looking and hasn't been updated in a long time. Walking through the hallways feels no different than a Best Western hotel in the US. On top of poorly designed and what seem to be never upgraded, we got a room with a non functioning AC, clogged coffee maker, and only 2 towels. Unless you just want to say "I stayed at the Ritz" I'd not recommend this hotel as a fancy and upscale experience.

Close to the train, 5 minute walk. Good location. The lobby area, bar and restaurant are nice. The room was just OK. Nothing special other than being clean. The breakfast buffet was quite nice and not too expensive during the week ($19)

Firstly, I want to mention that I went to the hotel for a 2 day conference (did not stay at this hotel) so my review will be based on that experience. Beautiful facilities and courteous staff, we never were in lack of anything while there. I also had breakfast at the restaurant one morning and was impressed. Attentive service and delicious food. I cannot name one thing wrong with my experience!

We just returned from a weekend trip in Toronto and stayed at this fabulous hotel.
The service was great from valet to bellhop to the Club Lounge. The staff were all kind and extremely courteous and helpful.
The room was beautiful and spacious with all the amenities one would need.
The Club Lounge was very relaxing with scrumptious delicacies served throughout the day.
I highly recommend staying here as most do and there s a reason for it. It s the best of the best and you re treated like royalty.

Previewing venue ballroom space for an event. 4th floor ballroom is lovely but the ceilings are low. No windows they are outside the perimeter so when room doors are closed no natural light at all.
Attention to client details is meticulous. Above standard service level.

Simply the best. Reception, concierge, housekeeping, club room and management give the most exemplary service.

Always a very warm welcome with genuine interest in each customer. I cannot fault their approach or service.

Will most definately be back.

Thank you Ritz Carlton.

10/10 experience here. The Ritz never fails to disappoint. My absolute favourite place to have a classy brunch. Although it may seem a bit pricey, the Sunday $97 brunch offers you an exceptional amount of food and the best part- all you can drink mimosas and caesar s. The food makes you want to never stop eating and the service is phenomenal.

Great property. The staff were friendly. They are building a fireplace for the holidays and you can donate to a great cause and have your name on the wall. Rooms were nice, Spa was great. Concierge staff ( taller man, forgot his name) was very helpful with reservations and recommendations.

Nice hotel to stay at, but their food menu is neanderthal. Zero options other than a salad for a whole food plant based diet. They serve up carcinogenic, artery clogging meat and cheese dishes like the tobacco industry dishes out cigarettes. Lots of fish dishes if you're into consuming mercury and other deadly toxins.

The only place to stay when in Toronto. The R.C. in Toronto is a 5 star hotel in every sense of the expression. The lobby is immaculate and stylish. The staff is some of the very best we have experienced throughout of many travels.

The rooms are everything you would expect from the Ritz Carlton. The beds are extremely comfortable with gorgeous views of downtown Toronto. The turn down service including turning down the lights and turning on soft jazz on the Bose stereo (A very nice touch).

The pool is not to be missed, plain and simple. I can not say enough for the concierge staff. They helped get reservations with no notice and made it all appear effortless. We will certainly be returning on our next adventure in Toronto.

Happy Travels!

Top favorite hotel in Toronto! Great service and location. Plenty of good restaurants close by if you are not a fan of Italian in the hotel. The best part is the spa amenities included for guests, steam, sauna, vitality pool and wonderful coed relaxation room with tea and snacks. Nice pool and jacuzzi overlooking the CN Tower. This takes it a notch above four seasons and notches above shangri-la. Spacious lobby with plenty of seats when you are just waiting before and after checkout. The lobby is connected directly to the subterranean passage way to train station and plenty restaurants. No need to step out during those cold and snowy days. Only downside was the room is a little dated compare to more modern four seasons or shangri-la. Would be back next time I'm visiting Toronto.

Even before entering the building, I was greeted with a smile, and very easily guided to where I needed to go for a professional event. Everything was clean and in order, and the breakfast provided with the event was spectacular. Everything was one step above what I've experienced at functions at other hotels.
