Pleasant environment full of interesting initiatives!

Cafe where the students study, they share talks ... very particular in this aspect. The bathroom is unisex and not very nice design.

Very popular cultural / recreational meeting, as well as aperitifs and appetizers there is also a good pizzeria!

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and there were 4 of us initially. We were treated like we were beggars, long faces and little desire to help us find a place because everyone was already booked. But the booking people showed up so many hours after we were done. We managed to carve out a corner of space, fortunately divine finally. At the cashier they were wrong all night to beat cocktail prices by withdrawing more money from the ATM and returning it to me after pointing it out in the coin. also wrong there pulling a euro less and then annoyed giving me another. it happened with another girl at my table. the food was good even if only meat ..... we had a good time but would never go back

We discovered this place by chance while returning to our airbnb. It is a little hidden, away from the main street, which makes it quieter and a bit out of the tourist madness of the day. For only 7 euros per person we had an aperitif spritz and free buffet (cheese, salami, salad, pasta, etc etc!) And there was also a spectacular live jazz band! You feel a relaxed, local place, ideal for a beautiful summer afternoon. One hundred percent recommended !!!

Very good atmosphere and beautiful bar located in an old prison. For a drink and a supplement, in total 8 euros, you can enjoy a varied buffet, recommended to spend a quiet time in the afternoon. I will visit again.

Great drink options, incredible area and view. Famous architect Renzo Piano designed the cafe addition and apartment balcony additions in this piazza. The piazza is very lively and a fun place to hangout any time of the day.

Two mojitos, lots of ice and little else. The worst I've ever tried. To be avoided absolutely.

The place is wonderful, pleasant, immersed in the completely recovered and restored structure of the former prisons; it has both a nice inside and a nice outside, especially the latter is nice, since it is a large internal courtyard where there is no traffic so it's all pedestrian. They often make interesting concerts and cultural activities. The cocktails are good, while the food is not very good (the only flaw of the place, especially for graduation or work receptions).

Unfortunately, beyond the usual pasta alla carrettiera, quite good, it offers little else, not always as good.
The outside space in front is used with tables and chairs of different style and material, very nice.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. BUT LOSE THE APERITIFS. The location is beautiful and subsequent, the square full of events and initiatives but really stay away from aperitifs. They asked us for 15 each but at the counter everything ran out quickly so we asked for some (good) pizzas that came randomly to the table. Honestly, with 15 at the restaurant next door I would have had a real dinner. Without nibbling random pizzas from the same dish drinking on a bad spritz.
