Good wine, welcoming and kind staff. Prices in the norm. Beautiful background music.

Suggestive atmosphere. Non-existent service, we were 15 minutes seated at the table and no one asked us if we wanted anything. We left without taking anything !!!

It is absolutely urgent to improve the variety and quality of the food ... Negative experience ..

Interesting place for meetings between Florentine people and startups.

I came to this place for the particularity (it used to be a prison and later a monastery, before the transformation) and remained for the cocktails! I really didn't expect that. The bar lady seems to be a cocktail expert. We took spritz, negroni and bloody Mary, all very elegant and well prepared.
The place also looks amazing and stylish. It became my favourite spot in Firenze!

Pleasant meeting place and initiatives in the heart of Florence

We stayed in this place one evening in aperitif time. Aside from waiting to have a glass of wine (and by waiting I mean staring at the barman while chatting with friends at the counter), the buffet is not that great. The food is not bad and for 8 it can also stay, but in Florence there is better.

Mediocre cocktails served hastily, a shame because the place often offers interesting evenings.

Very nice and different place from the noisy Florence that we can find them a few meters in the Santa Croce area. Interesting events and good music, difficult to find a place without a reservation on the weekend and always in these days it doesn't take hurry.

The Murate is a nice place to spend an evening with friends. Events are not lacking. Music, theater, dance. I recommend it to everyone.

Located in the courtyard of the "Murate" former women's prison in Florence, quiet out of the "chaos" of tourists, very close to the Sant Ambrogio covered market and the Florentine quarter full of box offices and the Flea market and the Jewish synagogue. Behind Santa Croce. Nice example of reuse of a prison structure with a certain charm.

None of that, the usual apericena little stuff, precious wine worthy of Pinchiorri with Coop quality, very nice historical place ex Murate prison, but if I pay I want the best.

Cute, shame about the carelessness and sloppiness of the staff who first ignored us for 10 minutes, they passed completely ignoring us, and then when I asked for two coke with ice and lemon, has placed open bottles of coke and he's gone. To which I asked for the second time the glass with ice and lemon (given the heat and the lack of air conditioning inside the room). Finally the young lady came and without even looking at me and placed the glasses and left again with an annoyed air.

Eig. Did we come for the food but unfortunately it was not more, so only 4 stars, but we found a party in the courtyard before what was really awesome And a super cool location is!

A safe harbor in Florence, the walls offer a welcoming and familiar place to spend the afternoon during a bad day or to go to study in the morning, the staff is qualified and affable, the prices are very low and the place is nice, today or I almost spend at least an hour there

Trendy place, literary club, music, shows, cinema, exhibitions, food ... a bit of everything in a suggestive location (the former monastery and then prison of the walls). But almost always a lot of crowd and too much confusion ...

Aperitif for a birthday: the place is very nice, pity that the aperitif was badly mixed water, the staff cold and rude and to finish the poor and poorly cared for food. They saved us the slices of salami that disappeared in no time. I had the courage to taste an aubergine "cub": it tasted like chlorine.
