Don t be a cheapskate - GO ELSEWHERE & don t make the same mistake I did. It will appear cheaper on comparethemarket /confused.com etc but they will bump up the price AFTER you pay deposit. I wish I read the reviews before I paid deposit. AVOID AVOID AVOID this useless insurance company
Insured my car today, absolutely no hassle or problem! Spoke to a lovely fella called Tyrone, he was extremely friendly and very efficient the whole process was smooth and quick.

I try not to give bad reviews because I like to give people the chance to put things right but this company is a complete shambles for home insurance. They may be good for motor insurance but they have little or no knowledge of home insurance. I kept getting through to motor specialists who told me I was not covered. Then I was asked to ring around other companies to see if I was insured. What on earth is a broker for if not to point you in the right direction when things go wrong after takinng your money. I had not been sent my renewal docs and it transpired that when they took a note of my change of address the year before they had not implemented the change. I have rung them approx 10 or 15 times since then and they still have not dealt with the change of address. I will happily lose my remaining year's premium to move to someone else as I dont trust them to insure me.

If I could give no stars I would!! Stay away from this company and don't fall for the same trap I did! They were the cheapest on compare the market so obviously I chose them I then got an email saying I couldn't start the insurance untill one of there team contacted me and that they would contact me shortly this was at 9.50am I didn't get a phone call so I rang them my self 3 times I tried then on the 3rd time I got to speak to someone that then said he was going to transfer me to someone I told him my situation and asked why I hadn't been called and his response was well they close at 8pm so I should get a phone call before then! No good when you need insurance to start straight away! Waste of time do ever use! If you don't find this review helpful just read the rest and you'll see a pattern

I thought that the lady that handled my call was very good. However the 3 stars reflect the clunkiness of the experience. All the information had been provided when filling out the forms on line and then then have to go through it again verbally was painful. The fact that I had to wait for a telephone call once I d paid to get the insurance validated was also painful. I had to in the end call the number provided.
The whole experience took way too long to complete. I started the call at 12.38 and the call didn t finish until 46 minutes later! Being held on the line whilst a broker decision was being made added to this delay. I just wanted to get out in my new car!!
Currently not through after 18 minutes waiting. I ve had nothing but issues especially when it come to changing my car, they charged me for this but did not change my insurance leaving me uninsured for 3 months

I completed the online application and they took my money, I therefore assumed I was fully insured. A week later I got a stroppy call from them saying I wasn't insured until they had all my details again. I spent an unpleasant 20 mins. on the phone with one of their (male) operatives who seemed to be trying to make out I was a criminal. He then asked for scans of our driving licences/V5C/Previous insurance and DVLA check codes, with a deadline of 7 days or the insurance would be cancelled. I emailed the scans only to receive several emails and a letter back threatening to cancel the insurance.
I eventually got through to them on the phone and spoke to a helpful woman called (I think) Lucy. She checked and sure enough they had received all the documents, she assured me all was OK and the insurance was valid. We will see...
All in all very poor service, slow (or no) response to emails and almost impossible to contact by phone.

Paid for car insurance ready to pick my new car up the next day...come to the next day no insurance documents and car showing as uninsured! Rang multiple times to be told insurance will be activated before 11am and told policy will be emailed within the hour. Rang again twice in the afternoon told both times will be sent within 30 mins. Now I'm on the day after collecting my car and still no documents just an email asking me to leave a review about my policy! Never known anything like it...been nothing but hassle from the minute we paid for the insurance! Wish I had read the reviews before clicking buy!!

Absolutely rubbish avoid at all costs they were trying so hard not to cancel my policy when I asked them too, they hanged up the phone everytime I called them.
Absolutely shocking service!! Thought I had purchased car insurance online and just needed to run through a few things with an advisor. The next day I received a phone call from them, the chap on the phone told me his job was to ring people and pass you over to another department. This department would then collect my information and I would be covered. After nearly 15 minutes in a cue I hung up, a little annoyed that it wasn t pointed out that I would be in a cue or even asked if it was a convenient time for me to speak. Later that day after finishing work I decided to ring them back, again the person I spoke to told me she was going to pass me over to a colleague who would collect the information. After another 15 minutes on hold I hung up. The next day I received an answer phone message from them, the lady on the message is speaking so quickly there is absolutely no chance of understanding the number she required me to ring. By this time I had got my insurance from elsewhere. Yesterday i received an email informing me that I had spoken to someone at the company (I won t add her name but just for reference I did not) her email directs me to this site and askes me to fill out a review. So here I am and here it is shocking service, shocking customer services and shocking how you assume you have purchased insurance and are covered only to be told that it was a quote and you are not covered until they verify some information with you. Which by all accounts seems very unlikely to happen.
Awful customer care / service when you need assistance. No urgency with anything. Only good service level was when taking out the policy in the first call, after that nothing but admin errors and no care or urgency to rectify.

Iv used close brother for a year or 2 now, i find them very pleasant to talk to, the staff that have dealt with me have always been very polite and always strived to accommodate anything i have requested. From new quotes, change of vehicles to even cancelling a policy. All staff I ve spoken to have been knowledgeable and helpful. Whilst it took a while to get through to sales to enquire about a quote I'd received through Quidco, the service received once through was good and the price and terms extremely competitive. Documents arrived by email within 24 hours and were all in order. Can't comment on claims as only just taken the policy and hopefully won't have to!

Dreadful, thoroughly fed up with this bunch of clowns. Sorting out insurance for my daughter's moped - comparison site was cheap, actual price was about 50% or so more. Sent documents through to the e-mail address they provided only to be told 28 days later they hadn't received them as I'd used the wrong e-mail address?!?! On the phone with them for hours and still nothing resolved. Absolute pain in the butt and I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN!!!
The customer service agent I dealt with was Lee, he was very helpful and much nicer that anyone I ve spoke with at right choice in the past, I was going to leave after my renewal but Lee changed my mind

The price on compareson website is not the price you will pay. They will find the way to add feaw hundred pounds to it or rob money of you anyway even if you dont accept new higher pricre, they charge you for cancelation fee. Con artists. Wants you type your account details , thats it, you just lost your money. What they do is illegal so i will contact the right institutions.

Absolutely right! Read carefully, make yourselves aware of this, you might be able to save some pounds only if you don't make any change to your policy.
The customer service is so bad they make you wish you'd never got insured by them in the first place.
I hope I don't have an accident this year and if I have one I don't think I'll get in touch to make a claim...I got the policy to save me some money, which in fact I am. I just wish to make it through the year ahead, and then find a new insurance provider.

After receiving the welcome letter from Right Choice, following the purchase of house insurance through them, I was disappointed to find out that there were charges which were not disclosed to me over the phone when i was contacted by one of their representatives after obtaining a quote online.
In fact, I expected to pay what i was quoted online, but then was persuaded by the representative that there were changes of circumstances from what I had disclosed online which justified a slight increase in premium.
I was unsure if that made sense, so later i rechecked the form i had submitted on the comparison site (which was still available for other quotes) and I found out I was right. I had input the correct information to begin with. There was only one change (i had not disclosed the presence of an artificial lake in the park nearby the property), but for the sake of it, i did go through the same process on the phone with another broker, who offered the same cover (same excess, limits, etc), with the same insurer at the same price they returned on the comparison site. This broker confirmed that for the postcode, the presence of the artificial lake was irrelevant.
After sending a complaint, Right Choice agreed a small refund (it is not the amount here that matters, but rather the practices that this company has displayed), but 4 working days on the refund is not yet in my bank account (hope they will not say it takes 5 working days, or you'll see another review from me shortly).
If their quote on the comparison site would have been the same as the premium i ended up paying, Right Choice would have come 3rd or 4th from the top. Other brokers above them would have been cheaper and the second best broker (the one i called to test my assumptions) would have stuck to their online quote. This in book is cheating!
Hence, i give Right Choice 1 star.

Told by several people to stay away due to reduced prices online, however when calling to actually take out the policy you have to spend 30 minutes going through every single detail for them to come back with a price which doubles by the end of it.

Had nothing but problems, they wouldnt accept my proof of no claims bonus which i had to pay for them to phone up my previous insurance company to comfirm what i send over was correct! Then they didnt register the card details for the direct debit correctly which could of cancelled my policy. The people i have spoken to so far on the phone are rude and arrogent. I will be leaving after my policy is up.

No-one answers the phones when they do thay transfer you from one department to another in circles. Anyone reading this this, you are better off paying a little bit more ....... the lack of customer care and service is beyond your imagination.

Would have given them zero stars but no option for that. Over priced waste of time and effort. Untrustworthy prices compared to online quote and then the alleged hidden charges they add once you have been kept on hold for several minutes. A waste of time and rip off prices.
