Dodgy company, added claims on to my account to try and bump up the price. Say they don't have any details for the claims l, no ref, cost etc

AVOID AT ALL COST !!! first of all the 5 star reviews have got to be fake because this is the worst experience ive ever had trying to insure my car. first there is the rubbish about having to speak with them first before insurance is valid. Then these morons dont even bother picking up the phone or they leave you on hold for ages!!!!! they took my money said they would call me back and ive heard nothing since!!! now im in the process of disputing for something thats rightfully mine in the first place!!!! absolute joke and the worst ive ever come across !!!

Absolutely avoid this company at all cost. They claim to be the cheapest but when you go through their website they change details on the quote. I emailed them about the errors and they then charged me for the errors and cancellation fee as they wouldn't cover me with the right details. They purposely bump the quotes. They're corrupt, I have started a charge back process.

Literally the worst insurance company I have ever used! I would not recommend these guys to anyone! Like seriously... the customer service is horrendous and once you have been accepted and paid your deposit they will call you to say the price has changed! Absolute Terrible insurance company!

Showings cheap with online search but bad company don't wasted your time and money. Basics questions taken short time and transfering payments section.l did and they wasn't call me They cancelled my car insurance but didt Sen refund in 14 days. Manager ozy always liar.

You can expect to be exposed to a try when phoning them Friday afternoon, attempting to sort yours things out. And it took me about 15 mins unfortunately to queue.
There was no low quality calming sounds nor any classical music played when queuing for any available operator there, which I personally find "In plus".
The lady (Hoyam) picked my phone call who was at the other end of the line, she took her helpfulness seriously and in professional manner.
We've spent about one hour of detailed conversation just to meet my meritum and their offer reflecting my case.
Excellent service but sometimes you have to wait during busy time, hence four stars only.

I wish it was possible to give a below 5 star rating or even question mark shake my head.Saying the customer service and care of this company was bad would be an understatement.I wish i had checked the reviews prior to signing up with this company,but luckily the payment that was supposed to be made was not authorised,so i quickly manages to cancel the insurance and willl be expecting my money returned before the end of next week.Word of advice to anyone thinking of setting up insurance with these guys.........DON'T DO IT and don't bother trying to get through to an adviser on the phone i was on the phone for almost 2 hours just simply trying to get a hold of the documents that were supposed to be sent,but the 5 different unprofessional advisers kept dodging and running around in circles.

This company can scam right through. Very disappointed, after sent them all document and after 14days there are now asking me more money. Very poor customer service, this lady changing my premium because of my job. It's looking very cheap quote but later come to cry and on the phone more hours for someone to answer you.

unprofessional got quote online..right choice phoned me and rang off before i even pressed pay button. after pressing pay now button phone rang again immediately caller said they need to verify detail before policy would be issued and would put me through to department. left on line for 25 minutes when call was answered i was so annoyed i told them i changed my mind about using them due to length of time they had taken to answer. lady was very unsympathetic saying that i was not the only customer ect. they phoned meand expect me to wait !!!!!! cancelled but still waiting for refund. avoid.

I was on hold for an hour and 20 minutes before speaking to somebody. Liam himself was very professional and helpful and got my car insurance in place in a reasonable amount of time but RCIB really need to get some more staff on their phone lines. A 2 hour phone call in total was a little excessive....

Great service and price. Left me out of insurance for 4 days and no renewal reminder and when I did call never an answer. Sadly had to go elsewhere.
However 1st year with them was very competitive and easy I would recommend them any day of the week.

Spoke to kane, one of the renewal staff members. A great lad who has tones of personality not only did he run through my quote, he has a real passion for motorbikes and I'll meet up at a like minded event in the near future.

Would strongly recommend this guy for any renewals worries speak to him.

Please, please for your own sanity do not use. They called me a liar failed to send my renewal out on time and are so very abrupt on the phone and genuinely make you feel bad for being a customer. Also over priced. The whole vibe is cowboys. I am stuck for a year lets hope I don't need to make a claim. Look on moneysupermarket for more bad bad reviews.

It is clear many of these reviews are from company employees and have been bought because I like many other people reviewing have had the worst experience of my life. This has been crippling.



2) DO NOT TAKE ANY POICY, they are very cleverly worded and the contract will not correspond with what you are told on the phone! What you are told on the phone and what is on paper are two very, very different things!

3) If you have an accident you will soon find out that you have something called a 3rd party excess meaning your excess is going to cover the other driver also so not only do you pay for your car you also pay for the other driver and there personal injury claims.

4) XS DIRECT: I was sold to XS DIRECT who will lean on Right Choice for everything because they know they are intimating people to deal with once you get to the claims stage. It's clear XS DIRECT work very closely with Right Choice Insurance Brokers (Worst Choice gangster brokers)

5) No matter how many times you tell them that you have not suffered any whip lash from a clip on your wing mirror and the smallest ding without a scratch on the paint, they will persist in asking you to complete a fraudulent claim even when you tell them this would be fraudulent they still tell you to proceed!

I hope this helps you steer clear from what I have had to go through, a HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY later, one solicitor and vast amounts of legal advise and this is still on going but I am sure there race team they are so happy to boast about love the profits they are scamming out of people every day.

Right so let s start off with the process of getting car insurance from RCIB (which indeed has other umbrella companies but we ll get to that later).

I was looking for Car Insurance and as usual I used a popular but reputable price comparison site (Compare the Market) to get quotes.

RCIB appeared to be the cheapest insurer so I went ahead and proceeded to purchase the cover as they were much cheaper (almost half the price of my renewal from Admiral). I read the terms and conditions and was happy knowing I would have to wait for them to text me before any insurance cover was being offered.

I was sent a web reference number via email and a separate text message from the insurer in question asking for me to call them (which isn t the norm I must say, but that didn t bother me) so I did.

This is where things got a little unerving. I spent over 40mins in a phone que without much luck and being a Saturday I was extremely busy to spend anymore time hanging around so I left it for Monday. Again I spent over 30mins on my lunch break and still no answer so I called my bank to have the transaction flagged seeing as though it was still pending. I also complained to Compare the Market but I may have jumped the gun on that.

This morning after a week of calls and hanging on the line I finally got through (again took an hour to get through, ridiculous). I was reassured the company was legit. Seems like RCIB have multiple umbrella companies which explains why it takes a while to get a human on the end of the phone!



I have received my policy documents via email and everything is in order and my car is indeed insured, so I m a relatively happy customer. I can t give them a 5 star rating though as the call wait times are horrendous so please someone at RCIB please do something about this otherwise new customers may question the legitimacy of your business as I initially did.

I m just sharing my experience as I found other online reviews here to be unclear, hopefully someone might find mine useful before deciding to use them or not. I will look to revisit this post once renewal comes around.

Worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. They'll take your money and then claim you'r not eligible for the insurance, then take ages to refund it back to you. Not to mention it takes hours to get though to a person on the phone, and when you do, they just put you on hold again.

AVOID THIS COMPANY ON COMPARISON SITES!!!! They offer a ridiculously low quote, and when you proceed and pay the deposit, you'll get an email stating you're not insured till you've spoke to them. I spent in total 3 and half hours trying to get through leaving me stranded with no insurance due to buying a new car. Once getting through they basically go through a complete new quote and then come back with a astronomical new quote. Once refused they took the deposit from my bank. Still waiting on a refund after being passed through 4 different departments. Absolute con artists. What's the say? If it's too good to true, it probably is. Do not even entertain this company if you value your time, sanity.

I was on phone over 90 minutes trying to renevue my insurance, I feels like been interviewed by Police, getting personal questions likes postcode of my work, exactly place where I working, what's the millelage on my car etc, prior to that I am already 1 year with the insurance Brooker. I hope that I wouldn't have to call them again about anything.

I rang to renew my car insurance, a young lady called Amy took my call. She was 100% attentive, listened to my needs, sorted out an issue I had, calmed me when I was unsure and confused about my policy. She went above and beyond to help me get what I needed and remained professional every step of the way. A credit to your company.

I've dealt with a rude and snappy person twice now who refused to class my secure underground parking facility as anything other than a public car park thus rendering the quote rediculously highly priced.

They also obviously pay for positive reviews. Have you noticed how all the 5 star reviews start with a name and three positive statements about being "polite" etc.

not a habitual complainer, usually cant be bothered, i just go somewhere else if not happy but i feel I should warn people in this case. been living overseas for many yeasr, came back to uk, insuring a small 125cc motorbike on full asian license,, very expensive until I get my uk license in order. So got uk license sorted out, called right choice to change policy, quoted horribly expensive premium. Called around 3 other, ramdon insurance companies who ALL quoted around 30% of the price from Right Choice. Called to cancel or change policy, cancellation charges for doing so were so high it was not worth changing the policy.. no explantion as to why they were so expensive and no real help.. my very strong advice, dont use them, there are many other options in the market, stay away. Hopefully peoples negative feedback will close companies like this down, the sooner the better... STAY AWAY...

they charged me 65 pounds for changing my adrress and 97 for geting 3 points to my driving licence.

Seriously stay away they are a scam company.
They took 260 pounds for a deposit turns out I was not insured .
No 1 called me to set up my policy.
Arfter being on the phone for multiple hours they finally answered.
They then ask you so many questions that you would find hard to remember the answers for .
They they increased the price because I lived abroad for 2 years ..why?
I realised they was shady and said I wanted my deposit bk .
They say they will transfer you to refund department yet two days and over 5 hours on hold I realised I was getting the run around.
Thankfully I've paid via credit card so I should get my money back.
But seriously save yourself the stress they will rip you off.
Read reviews before you hand over any money.

Claim they are specialised in insurance for banned drivers and had a policy for five months and they then sent me a letter demanding another 500 pound deposit plus 2000 on top of original policy when I rang them they came up with different excuses saying the ban COde was wrong ban length was wrong. I ve got proof in paperwork I ve been honest from the start. They are a scam!!!! Can t bekeive that they are on money supermarket !! Disgrace!
